  3. Proto-Knowledge First thing I hear: it has an excellent mixing and use of space! It also sounds a bit like a fast-paced Mindsphere track, which coming from me is a huge compliment! I did not originally plan to make a review for this album when I started listening to it, but this track blew my mind so I decided to do so! 4.5/5 Babat Sink Nice. It almost manages to make me indifferent to the "tagadading" voices, which is usually the kind of thing I find distracting and annoying. 4.2/5 Crazy Machines The track starts, I hear a modern trance lead synth that just so happen to sound very fresh in Goa Trance while fitting perfectly in the genre! It makes me want to produce more crossovers between Nitzho and non-Psy Trance genres, because few people do so but tracks like this show the potential of such genre crossovers! It's also back at sounding like the most Nitzho-oriented Mindsphere tracks! This track sounds very hypnotizing! 4.7/5 Sands of the Desert Hell yeah this intro! I want to hear this live! Hell yeah these hi-hats! I love life! I'm sober in case you were wondering! Oh, snares! Nice snares! How much time did you take on the sound selection, Sky Technology? Oh wow, I just had random goosebumps! Hmm, I think I know why I got these! 4.5/5 Who We Are Unexpected Psy-wubs!I realise it's just repurposed acid synths, but whatever! I love creativity man! Oh, creative rhythms from 2:55 to 3:19! So nice, reminds me of Progressive Metal! And that part where the kicks come back without the bass... so fresh and so cool! The lasers in this track make me crave for laserkicks, though... 😕 Musical blue balls man! :') But still, nice track, especially for Goa-heads who are less-Nitzho-oriented than me! 😜 And well, the musical blue balls went away pretty fast because it sounds and the rest of the track sounds ike it's supposed to sound the way it does, as it's Goa Trance and this genre typically doesn't use laserkicks! 4/5 Aural Planet Well used squares! Agneton-style lead synth! Mindsphere-style wideness! Off to a good start with this intro! Oh well, what follows is just Mindsphere-style music, but eh! I already said this is something I say as a compliment! 😜 These sliding synths! So niiiiiice! ^-^ Wow! It's currently very hot in southern Europe where I temporarily am, but I feel a cool breeze... inside of my body. Not sure I'm sober anymore after listening to more than half of this album! Thanks for the (nice) physical hallucinations though, it's very useful in the overly hot hotness of the Mediterranean! 4.2/5 Broken Music Box Wow, this intro! Space sounds! ASMR! My brain (and as such, me) is very happy! HOLY SHIIIIIT!!! LASERKIIIIICKS!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SKY TECHNOLOGYYYYY!!! Well, isn't this excellent Nitzho? Not only does dude excels in Nitzho-oriented Goa Trance, but his Nitzho is also very good! Though I personally would have mixed some of the psychedelic synths and the high-pitched music box sounds a bit quieter and maybe the hi-hats a bit louder, but I can tell this track is probably not in the style this artist usually produces! I'm also thinking this laserkicks could use a bit of variation, maybe in the rhythm or in the sound. Regardless, good job! 😛 4.4/5 Magnetic Force Oh okay, so we're doing lazerkicks now, I see! 😛 These kicks sound nice! I should contact the artist to ask him how he does / creates such hard-hitting Nitzho-style kicks! Kicks may be the worst part of my own music so I appreciate the skill that went into creating this, ahah! ^^' Oh, laserkick variation! Nice! He should have done this for the previous track in my opinion! Both these laserkick sounds fit perfectly together! Beautiful! What is funny is that the rest of the track is more Goa-Trance oriented, there literally only is a fast BPM and laserkicks, but you know what? It goes well together! 4.5/5 (please remember my ratings are based on subjective enjoyment, because on the technically standpoint, I find it mind-blowing and very close to a 5!) Göbekli Tepe Slower music, why not, though I prefer tempos that are almost to fast for Nitzho! But I find that the slower tempo helps creating the imagery of the Göbekli Tepe. Oh, and the melody sound a lot like Turkisk music, so a bit like a Nitzho melody! In a way, this track is the opposite of the previous one: slow, no laserkicks, a Nitzho melody, "tribal" (for a lack of a better term) drum samples similar to what you'd hear in old-school israeli Nitzho! Though in my opinion, the leads sounds a bit weird. and I find that the sliding notes do not slide enough! 3.7/5 Babat Sink (Bonus Version) Okay, I prefer the drums (kicks, hi hats and snares) on the non-"tagadading" part of the other version. But the melody on this one is pretty nice! 4/5 COMPILATION RATING: 4.27/5 Listen to this if you like Mindsphere, even if you hate Nitzho, because this may be on Sita Records, but in my opinion this is more Goa Trance than even Nitzhogoa! Interresting to hear the context behind the later tracks being more Nitzho-oriented than the other ones ahah

  7. What is this? I have never heard this in the sample at all, I have always heard “I believe that with the advent of acid, we discovered a new way to think, and it has to do with piecing together new thoughts in your mind. Why is it that people think it’s so evil? What is it about it that scares people so deeply, even the guy that invented it, what is it? Because they’re afraid that there’s more to reality than they have ever confronted. That there are doors that they’re afraid to go in, and they don’t want us to go in there either, because if we go in we might learn something that they don’t know. And that makes us a little out of their control.” Am I hearing things completely wrong here?
  8. Yesterday
  9. It is pretty old sounding, still I liked it. I need to find it in my physical collection as I cannot find it in my digital one
  10. I have other rooms to stay awake in
  11. Last week
  12. Honestly, I didn't get all the way through it that day but I will give it another go. It was a really interesting old school sound, pretty different to almost all the stuff I listen to usually. No really strong emotions about it other than interest so far.
  13. I always want to stay up late but get told that will keep her awake, so I can't.
  14. 17 years away, I am sure that you don't see this, but I miss you. You were a big part of Psynews, when Psynews was a big part of me.

I hope that you're doing well, wherever you are and whatever you are doing

  15. What did you think of Rainbirds? I remember really loving this album but I haven't listened to it in years. It is not in my digital collection, I need to rummage through my CDs to find it and rip it (same with Juno Reactor - Transmissions
  16. Now playing Hymn 27 minutes of pure joy I wish would never end
  17. Still slogging through this book and while I will finish it, eventually, I didn't think I will ever read another book by David Mitchell again. The culmination of this book came in the PENultimate section, it read like Young Adult fiction but it flowed well and kept you wanting to read. Then the last section came and, I just have no idea why this is here? It is just like a really long epilogue that no one wanted. I am on the last chapter now, and unless something comes in the next few pages that ties everything in to a satisfying ending, then it's just going to be as pointless as the other 60% of this book that was trying too hard to be clever but just was not, and was not interesting. David Mitchell, my advice is to stick to TV, you were quite funny, your books suck.

    Dreamfish

Do I still feel this way 12 years later? And 32 years after the original release? You bet I do! A timeless classic that never gets old
  19. 32 years on from this release and it'd still something I listen to quite often, a couple of times a year at least on top of the similar Dragonfly comps around the same time. If it has Genetic - Trancemission, I'll listen to it any time of the day
  20. Rena Jones - Driftwood I didn't realize she had so many other albums, there's even one with Kilowatts that looks interesting
  21. Well, I guess misery loves company because that makes me feel better It's 1 am here now, just finished the walk the cleaning and everything, should I sleep (I should) or sit up doing things I want to do?
  22. That sounds a bit like my life!
  23. My god, 30 (THIRTY) years later and this is still really really amazing. Needs more listens to get me back in the trance spirit

  25. One day of work and then 2 more days off, how coming back from a holiday should be Though I am just on my way back home now, today my wife had to eat ice-cream cake and play games with a friend, so of course she's so tired she cannot clean or take the dog for a walk, so it's up to me, who's been out since 7:30 this morning (it's now 9:30) to do all that.
  26. Gaudi - Bass, Sweat and Tears A real blast from the past, I don't think I have listened to this in 10 years or more
