  1. Today
  2. Sorry for the threadromancy 🥷
  3. Last year I got a Miyoo Mini, it's like a Gameboy but can play all the old titles from the NES & SNES, Master System and Megadrive and even some PS1 titles. It's like all the nostalgia I could have ever hoped for.
  4. Getting to the end of my summer break from work. Just today and tomorrow to go, then one day off then it's the weekend I have ruined this holiday by not sleeping well 😭 I'm always tired from work, and now I am off for a week and didn't make the most of it relaxation wise.
  5. Nearly 9 years back in time Still correct though. This track is amazing
  6. Gus Till - Long Long Ago Lots of good stuff from Gus Till on Bandcamp
  7. Well, if she cured his stage fright then that's a good thing. Hope to see them in Japan one day
  8. Yesterday

  10. Last week
  11. Yesterday I watched "The Wild Robot" with my daughter An excellent animated family film, great animation, characters, story and everything. What I liked most was that it did not sanitise the wild. It had some cut throat scenes like when the Robot held an animal it had just saved in its hand and something else swooped in an took it away. Or when the possum mother is talking about how hard it is to be a mother and says "I have 7 kids"...you hear the sound of something getting murdered..."I have 6 kids" without skipping a beat as if losing a child is the most normal thing in the world, which for wild animals it totally is. This movie is full of scenes like this.
  12. So many years later, I still absolutely adore this album What albums do you still listen to regularly 20 or 30 years later?
  13. More people should listen to this, it's a masterpiece
  14. Ott is great, always makes very nice music, sometimes spectacular stuff. I have Fairchildren and Hiraeth, but not Heads. How do these compare?
  15. Agree, glad you liked I thought the same very natural sounding.
  16. Today we have a simple one. I had been postponing my Ott album purchases for many years. Maybe they were released in times when I was busy or preferred something else or didn't feel like ordering just one disc. Well, actually I did get the crowdfunded Blumenkraft LP and bonus 12" in 2018 because those are classics and the vinyl releases were something new and hot, but the more recent albums were another path which I had missed. This year I finally fixed that and got: Fairchildren Heads Hiraeth Ott is such a decent bloke; fair prices, no artificial scarcity tricks, free signing service, positive messages and maybe even extras included. It's always a pleasure shopping there and I'm pretty sure you will agree, no matter what you get and how. Now, about time to give these a proper listen...
  17. Hello, I'm looking for these packs, can you help me get them.... Thank you very much Floating Free: Remix Contest + Vibrasphere Cloud 99 Music – Selected Remix Files Vol.2 Dewdrops_(remix_files) Ensueno (Remix Files) In Control (Remix files) Seven days to daylight (remix files) late winter storms (Remix Files) Landmark (Remix files)
  18. I always find it interesting how people listen to music differently. If I have a playlist, it is a playlist of full albums or compilations and I want to listen to each album as a whole, even if it's selected randomly from the list, but what I don't want is to listen to random tracks from my playlists.
  19. I listen to some old goa / psy albums now and then, but I mostly compile releases by artists I like or a special feeling or sound in the music. I don't listen to Halluncinogen's album Twisted, I listen to his tracks from that era with the Twisted sound. I never listen to Spotify's AI generated playlist, I listen to my carefully curated playlists. 😁 I spend a lot of time digging through music and compiling playlists. I find the first Tarsis album to be mostly great, but their other albums are bland. This summer I listened to all their albums and compiled their good tracks (released after their debut) and now I have another great Tarsis album.
  20. My memory says that his stage fright got worse and he didn't enjoy touring anymore, but a year or so later, he found an American girlfriend, and now he's back touring. Something like that. I believe there's a Facebook post or two, with the details.
  21. I thought Simon said he was retiring from touring. Looks like he hasn't yet though. https://twistedmusic.com/tour/ No idea about Tokyo though. I can't believe that the only one who responded to my Dubsahara comment was a bot selling kitchen knives! I will write that review, one day...
  22. The new Radish6404 has already specified that while he'd not racist, he sure doesn't like dark skinned people...
  23. We need to evolve along with the times. We live in a digital age, we need to accept that: Digitally I just bought: Framework - The Anthemic Collection And the following from Liquid Sound Design It's a wrap 2024 Lammas Blessings Lá Fhéile Brid V2 Nothing is available on CD and honestly I would just rip it ASAP anyway
  24. Can't believe this was 8 years ago I am not a huge fan of how the Shpongle sound has evolved over the years but I would still appreciate a Shpongle party in my neighborhood: are there any plans to come to Tokyo in the near future?
  25. Well, here's a short list. Mark "Drezz" "Nervasystem" Dressler found a few copies of 13 Amp Fusion. I think I've bought all his albums one by one since his 2013 comeback. Now I ended up filling this gap too. These are sold "as new", and at the moment of writing some are still available on Bandcamp. Get one if you want one. For some reason I thought this was one of the CD only purchases (like some other old stock sales) so I just ripped it. In fact, it came with a download and apparently I have that one too. Oh well, now I can confirm that they indeed look and work like new...
  26. So many years have not tempered the insanity that is @CyclotronMajesty Every single post you ever made just dripped with conspiracy theorist "logic" and honestly was never anything I could take seriously. I always saw your posts as someone who just took too many drugs and completely fucked up their own mind. Seeing this post just makes me sad, not for you, because you have always been this insane, but for all the people that were brought over to your insanity during COVID. "Fake Vaccines" "Mask Hysteria" buzz words for the idiots. I live in Japan, everyone was really quick to mask up during COVID, and the vaccine take up was near 100%, the result was very few COVID deaths, yet the countries that resisted putting a bit of cloth over your mouth because it was so painful (fucking pussies) and distrusted the vaccine had 100s of 1000s of deaths. It's people like you @CyclotronMajestythat killed 100s of others. You should feel ashamed of yourself but I can guarantee that such scumbags like you will never ever dare feel like you were in the wrong and will never ever come to understand just how much pain and suffering you brought to the world
  27. Do you not listen to Astral Projection albums or just not albums in general? I almost exclusively listen to albums. Even if I create a playlist, it's a playlist of albums. I never got into Spotify because I never liked just random track after random track. AI has a loooooooong way to go before it can make a coherent DJ mix.
