Swhat is the best standart to them in your opinon? Which tracks of them are the best for you? Te best tracks of Astral Projection don´t have as many synthlayers and the melodies are not so complex in my opion. The only bad thing is, that the track has no repeat of the first meldy in the second part of the track

Oh, you totally get it, my friend. The sound is overcompressed, pushed well beyond a reasonable level, and it's just pure garbage. Just look at the soundwave graphs.. 😳 I have no idea why they did this. Maybe decades of loud parties damaged their hearing? The only way to fix this would be for them to release another master with less compression and more dynamic range. But the CDs and vinyls are already printed, I'm afraid.

Well, the amp is a quiet one and I don´t have the money to spend 1600 € for high efficiency speakers.

I listened to it on my Sny Xperia S10 V with old Sny MDR e948 LP earbuds and it sounds great on full volume. It sounds dynamic and not flat in my opinion.It sounds a bit distorted, but I don´t care about the distortion at all, since it sound dynamic.

Synergy between your equipment is one of the most important things in sound quality. No point having superb speakers if you're going to run an iphone through them. Until you get the better amp, it would be best to keep to lower volumes or get easier to drive speakers

sounds like a tin can! its mastered so loud that youtube turns it down making it sound quiet. its so pushed to the limits. doesnt feel good on the ears at all! what have they done! meh. who cares anymore. well i do. the music itself might be good but the sound isnt good. oh well. it is what it is. heres to hoping it will sound good several years from now. maybe i just dont get it.

Yeah I remember Nemo, RIP 🌿 He was a good man and interesting to chat with. I was away from here for a while and heard of his passing well after it happened. Re: Anthony Rother, I was never that in to his music until I heard him play live. Oh my god! Some music is made to heard in certain ways and Rother's music needs to be felt through your body.

Oh boy, I have happily overlooked that thread, not believing ... because, face it, since when are we waiting? Tell me otherwise, it feels almost like 20 years of wait! But now it really is out and I am on the first spin of a few tracks, liking it a lot. I'm not going to open all of this package at once ... I don't believe we will get another one soon It feels so good to read here! From the announcement to release comments, the banter about the mastering ... love you all ... love that we have made it here, all the ones that did. After all I've been though lately this feels super super good, I tell you that, balm on my soul Himalaya is a very good track.

Well look at what the cool people out there dug out years later ... I just figured I'd share this with you: Anybody remembers Nemo? I was not super close to him or anything, but one thing I'll never forget what he said about a musician who was yet to become (and now is) one of my biggest favourites. "Anthony Rother's way to make music is one of a kind." .... probably not the exact quote, but that's what I remember. Many, many, many years later I was about to find out what Nemo meant by that --- when I found the answer in an interview that Rother gave himself. Well, he was right: Rother makes and listens to music in a very unique way... Nemo knew that before me. Enjoy the mix R.i.P. Nemo <3

Huh... maybe they've lost it? It's obviously still melodic Goa trance and in some way it's "hats off" for staying true to their sound. But listening to this track... nowhere near their best standards. 6/10.

I think Dancing with Kaddafi is a very good song., especially the second and the third part are very good. The violine sounds very nice and the melody is very nice, aswell. It is a full masterpeace with the first part and the part of the violine compared to the third part with the interesting rythm. The melody of the third part is just awesome and veryenvolving. 10/10 is my rating.

Well, the Denon PNA 1000Ne will have enough power to drive the speakers at mx volume, but the PNA600NE, which i have now, does not have. So I have to get up to it and wait, til I have the money, to change to the PNA 1000NE.

That’s not really accurate. Amps don’t just matter at max volume – they also differ in how well they control speakers at normal listening levels, especially when the speaker impedance dips. The GLE 90s are fairly efficient, and the Denon PMA-1000NE should already have more than enough power for them in most rooms. If it doesn’t sound right, it’s more likely down to room setup, placement, or expectations than the amp being 'unable to drive' the speakers."

Not as good as this one, but still really good. I must ask, do you have any further releases? You are my favourite new school artist by far.
