Astral Projection new album
Trance2MoveU replied to GOA Collection SOLD's topic in General Psytrance
I'm rooting for them. If they drop a great album in their style what's not to like? If it's not to your liking nobody is forcing you to listen to it. And it's not like they haven't given us a huge cache of great music. -
What music are you listening to right now?
Trance2MoveU replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
E-mantra - Drifting Great floaty downtempo, a dnb track, some progressive style, and of course a goa track! -
Astral Projection - For All Mankind - 19 september

Like most I'm actually stunned that this is actually happening. Hoping for the best, but how many times has a project from the golden days come back to disappoint? Ah well, fingers crossed! And yes Iboga seems an odd choice. Highest bidder? How is this not on TIP or Suntrip or Global Sect? -
Superb topic that for some reason I'm just discovering. Maybe should start lurking again. Just finished The Devils by Joe Abercrombie and Empire of the Vampire as well as Empire of the Damned by Jay Kristoff. All were quite graphic and great reads. Highly recommend if you're into grimdark style of fantasy. Currently reading Illusion by Paula Volsky about changing attitudes and how horrible exalted classes are to non-exalted. Anything to distract from my terribly disappointing country. I apologize and want to reassure you normal, educated Americans are not ok with what this fascist administration is doing.

I haven't posted much here yet, but this is something I have to share. I am currently obsessed by the books of Elena Danaan. Her first book describes the 100 extraterrestrial species involved with our planet. She writes that the species from Zeta Retucili are not friendly and what was the reason of the sinking of the Titanic. In her second book she describes what happened after the Roswell crash in 1947. These books are highly recommended if you are interested in UFO's

This is still a great album, very Solar Fields, mature resounding but resonates nicely when you let it unfold.
-
A lot of Solar Fields music has aged very well. I love all of his output except for the recent Origin releases that never grabbed me. This though, this gets listened to still, 15 years late
-
No one else into the cheese fest that is Reverse Universe? I've seen some cheesy psy being pedalled recently, so maybe check this out too!
-
I remember loving this, I was sure I wrote a review, I guess not though. Going to give this another listen now...

I listened to this today, it is still amazing, every track plays in to a huge album. I always think that it's ended, then the ambient track comes on to round of the experience in style. Is there a moon in your window? Is Madness laughing? Is Madness laughing?

We've been having tsunami warnings here. I live fairly close to he coast, and the earthquake off Russia has definitely made a lot of potential problems, but luckily I Iive far enough inland that it's unlikely to be a problem. However, the last 2 days the trains have been delayed for hours and hours because of this and it's taken me ages to get to and from work. Very tired

The Original Entheogenic -
Did this ever happen? If it did I totally missed it because I would totally be paying money to hear this
-
I have never heard this release, but I have listened to Easily Embarrassed - Tales Of the Coin Spinner hundreds of times, but I have always had it in my mind that it was an alias of some other artist I am now drawing a total blank on. Their Bandcamp page shows that I am just completely wrong, but am I? Were these guys part of another downtempo group?
-
For some reason I do not have any of these virtual releases on my DAP I just searched of Ishq and all it brought up was compilation tracks. What is wrong with me? Why have I forsaken Matt Hillier? I doubt it's because he charges like $100 for his new releases, even on digital formats, because I would still love to listen to the stuff I bought when I was into buying CDs
-
Was there ever any Stillness Vol 2,3 or 4? Seeing as no one commented on this in 16 years, I guess no one else is bothered Gus Till has a lot of stuff on Bandcamp in a similar vein and a lot is "name your price" Check it out
-
This is one of those albums that randomly come on and I'm like "wow this is great, what is it?" Then I check and am like "Of course, this is amazing" but for some reason never choose to actively listen to. It's weird because it is very good, I am not sure why I always skip past it when searching what to listen to.

(1hr59min/320MP3/303.7MB/©2025) Genre: JukeBox Info / Website: https://goaconstrictor.com/music/jukebox/ Direct Download / Stream: https://goaconstrictor.com/audio/goaconstrictor-JukeBox.mp3 MixCloud: I feel that anyone with a pulse and shred of humanity would be a great jukebox for a night. It's why people create their playlists on various evil websites and drop a few bucks in the box at a local bar when out with friends. It's also why DJing went from a very niche hobby in the 80s and 90s to something pervasive throughout society. We all carry with us a soundtrack that brought us to where we are today. The songs influencing our next favorite albums and songs opening the doors of entirely new tones, connecting us with new beats, opening new ways of dancing. Songs you find new friends through and ones you find yourself singing loudly with loved ones at three in the morning after reminiscing about the week's activities. Earlier this year I was feeling in a bit of a rut and lost musically. I decided to dedicate time each week to "Band Practice." Instead of just listening to records through the turntable connected to the main stereo or DJing some randomness, I pulled out another turntable and hooked it up to my DJ mixer so I can start reconnecting with music of my past, the songs that got me to where I am today. I wanted to practice some scratching and battle mixing, create live mash-ups on the fly, experiment with things I have lost sight of over the years. The hope was: If I can reconnect with the old me, maybe I can remember why I am me. This mix covers six-decades of music one might have found on jukeboxes over the years and songs that shaped how I listen to, and interact with, music and the world. From the 70s to today, whether it's disco to jazzy hip hop, political rap to synth pop, alternative grunge to sing-a-longs, anthems and theme songs to punk. West coast or east coast, Swedish, Dutch, Australian, or somewhere on that British isle; originals, mash-ups, remixes; released and unreleased; this jukebox has a bit of everything*. I hope this mix carries you through the rest of the summer and brightens up the soundtrack of your own future. This world a flaming cesspool of fucking garbage; try to not let it get you down. We're stronger together and it's better to just put another quarter in the jukebox, smile, and drown out the noise while being with those you hold dear. Kindness is punk. (*other than Goa) PS: If you or someone you know is filling out a line-up for any downtempo / second stage and are looking to broaden the energy contained therein, feel free to reach out; I'd be happy to be your future jukebox. This is a very nice mellow prog trance album. One of the best and most endearing. One I still listen to most springs and early summer days. It is lush and nice and maybe got lost in the acidic synth realm it tired to flower under. Give it another try, you will probably like it.
-
So many good tracks on this album. Really good for an accessible, night time album.
-
I am sure that this amazing release got more love than "one single comment" We must have missed all the love with a system update that erased everything, right?
-
Still an amazing dark ambient album. Definitely worth a listen along with the equally amazing Derelict World
-
Gus Till is a pillar of the Goa Trance community I cannot believe than in all these years, this has so few comments. Did people just not know about this amazing release and its follow up?
