  2. Astral Projection - For all mankind album
  3. I would be surprised he paid Juan Verdana because there is no melody that sounds similar to Spiritual Healing, only the chords for the bassline are identical, but using the same chords isn't considered plagiarism (I think I read that somewhere a long ago, in terms of copyrights...). Just a random topic about it https://gearspace.com/board/songwriting/843350-why-chords-not-copyrighted-how-avoid-plagiarism-when-making-song.html

  5. Looks like every musician wants to make their own version of Spiritual Healing sooner or later. Anyway, check out New Born – Trip of the Luna King (2007). One and a half million views on YouTube — that’s no joke. I’m totally in love with this track, even though I only discovered it a few months ago. Gotta thank the YouTube algorithm for that.
  6. Yahel has his own version of Spiritual Healing. I don’t know whether he paid Juan Verdera for it or not, but it sounds very close. When you listen to Intelligent Life, the melody of Spiritual Healing immediately comes to mind. Yahel - Intelligent Life (2000)
  7. Funny how Vaccine got abysmal reviews when it was released. And when the vinyl version came out, ooh, how opinions changed.
  8. Yesterday
  9. Very nice find. Yeah part of this one is nearly identical to spiritual healing. Two of the key changes are the same, two are not. Then you have the main screaming lead which is very close to the ending part of spiritual healing. Excellent find I've never heard this before so thanks for that 🙏 Did Juan gather inspiration from this? Very possible! Because there's no denying at some parts, it kinda goes in and out, there for sure great resemblance. 🙏🥳

  13. Miranda - Weighless
  14. I'm listening this track from the south african Maestro, Shift. I love how he stayed consistent during all his career, bringing high quality tracks since day one, shaping the twilight genre for years to come.
  15. There's way too little afgin in these parts edit: youtube version sounds great 🥰
  16. Digital Sun & DJ Kaya - Walls Of Mistery (1998)
  17. Terra Ferma - The Scream (1996) I think that this track is where the roots of the legendary The Muses Rapt — Spiritual Healing come from. Just don’t look for similarities in the first seconds. The Scream has a very long build-up, and the part that resembles Spiritual Healing starts around 05:00. But again, not immediately — it builds up for another minute and a half, and then it becomes really similar. At least I can hear something familiar there. I wouldn’t call it plagiarism, but these two tracks definitely share something in common…
  18. Are you going to try and get your title back?
  19. I highly doubt that. I only got my impression from rando comments on sites like discogs.
  20. Here's a remix of another classic choon from the 90s... Enjoy! The Green Nuns Of The Revolution - Rock Bitch (Denstrow remix)
  21. shit album
  22. Astral Projection - Unbelievable Technology
  23. <<Then I read about Vaccine Electronic through the narrative that Younger Brother caved into pressure from fans not liking Vaccine, and I must admit this narrative immediately soured my expectations of Vaccine Electronic, because if that is true, it is rarely good when an artist works under duress.>> I dunno. From talking with Benji, I do not take this to be the case. Maybe you know more than I...
  24. I listened to the whole thing today. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. Little bits of it sound great, including the opening track. Other bits I honestly found a bit boring. A few of the sounds do sound like they are right out of one of the earlier Shpongle albums, which I guess is what the fans were asking for. I will still listen to this in the future but it won't be a regular.
  25. @Astralprojection, I also think that Time dilation by Pleiadians is one of the best goa trance tracks.
  26. I'm listening to this album right now. Discovering that, like many others, Burn In Noise had some interesting stuff pre 2010 before Full-On went Full-Mainstream with mostly souless nonsense tracks that take you on a journey from nothing to nothing. This track sounds nice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fAmQJxSUIw
  27. I guess if I was being really picky it might sound a tiny bit muffled compared to the most modern Goa productions but I enjoy their sound and I love the high pitched melodies. There is no harshness to my ears. It is fine. I think I like music that sounds old. I adore all of RA's melodies and I like this Egyptian vibe. I don't care if some people find it generic or clichéd as it sounds lovely to me. Incidentally it is not so straightforward trying to sound like ancient Egypt - have a read of this: https://www.jeffbuser.com/egyptian.html Basically there is not one accepted ancient Egyptian musical scale. Khetzal's music is great too but I really feel RA has better storytelling, one of the very best.
