Best Stone Age records release ?

The best record label hands down atleast in the first half of this decade as far as dark psy is concerned.

 

I wanted to honor the freakfactory for all the trips down memory lane especially the stone age records party in Goa which converted me into a darkpsynut.

 

I personally like the trashlords vs psychotic micro more than the other ones.

 

All other releases are above par IMO.

Not sure what you mean by "darkpsy" since people perceive it differently.

I agree they are good, but Schlabbaduerst Rekkords was much more to my liking in that realm of crazy schando forest psy, so I'd reserve the "best record label" for them

Various - Örebro Freakfactory 2 Never listened to it.

Steptime - Steptime Nice forest psy. Some great tracks in here.

Various - Tales From The Dark Forest Classic forest comp. Puro track is still a masterpiece.

Various - Trashlords vs Psychotic Micro Great darkpsy!

Various - Örebro Freakfactory 3 I voted for that. One of my favorite dark comps!

Various - Ctrl Alt Delete Never listened to it.

Kluster - Extended Oversized System Never listened to it.

Wizack Twizack - Behind The Trees Never listened to it.

Various - Örebro Freakfactory 4 I didn't even know this existed!

Trashlords - Made In Goa Huge dissapointment. Mediocre at best.

I know there are various kinds of dark psy although there is a general consensus regarding what dark psy is and what it sounds like without explaining it in absolute terms, dont you think? anyone who has been following the genre for a considerable period of time can recognize dark psy from a distance.

Well I beg to differ. Material I've heard from Stoneage may just as well fit into Scando Forest sound.

 

 

Anyways, we are just talking classifications that really don't have that much meaning. In my opinion, the fact remains that Schlab released both heavier/darker as well as lighter/melodic sound in similar realm as Stoneage and I

think Schlab has soundly beaten Stoneage in that arena.....doesn't matter what name you want to call that sound.
