  2. Look at the list of members then (97) and look at it now. I think you'll be able to make the connection... Why do the talented ones always leave first?
  3. thats pretty much what I have lined up for my next steve roach order too =) I'm waiting a week for the release of immersion two though, to get that one at the same time.
  4. I don't have this track on DAT but I can ask around. I know some people with pretty solid DAT collections... edit: And yes I don't have an internet connection until early August, posting this from work.
  5. Various - Trance Mix 9 http://www.discogs.com/release/194336
  6. Slide - Saturnalia EP too lazy to look it up on Discogs, but it's Flying Rhino 021 Edit: Also, a third copy of Etnica - Alien Protein on vinyl, this one is for my girlfriend.

  8. If you're in town (and free) between afternoon and 10pm on saturday, DO NOT miss out the daytime outdoor party at "Långholmen" (it's an island). The location is pretty central, so ask your way there. It's usually an amazing mood at those parties, and it's free! (They encourage donations though.)
  9. As for myself, I got this today: Acid Ocean - Acid Ocean EP http://www.discogs.com/release/240979 Another label completed! I will continue to lay very low with new purchases for a while as I'm moving in a few weeks, and the money is desperately needed elsewhere...
  10. And while I'm quite the bulk buyer myself, I must wonder how the hell you can afford that, alternatively what golden source you are buying from! Did you recently win/inherit a shitload of money, by any chance? =)
  11. ...or spending everything on records (I do mean everything, my shoes are falling apart) for 15 years... If your cost of living is low enough and you've got an OK job, you can have 300-500 euro a month left after bills, food, etc... and if you spend all that on records (new & second hand), you get around one new record a day. At that pace, 4000 records takes 10 years.
  12. I have the vinyl but haven't played it much; it's got MAD fat basslines and it's pretty rockin' - but I can't recall much specific stuff about the tracks. Haven't had time to play the CD yet, but will probably do that monday. However, Gus was just a studio engineer on those tracks, so what he did was more technical than musical.
  13. One more blue room: Johann Bley - Blow Your Mind http://www.discogs.com/release/73967 Missing 9 of the Blue Room Released records listed on Discogs now... I'm not counting the BR South Africa version of Midnights Children though. Completion is near!
  14. And this is the one you picked? YOU FOOL!
  15. Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom - Lunar Church
  16. Yeah thats the one, off of Demonizer. The sample is of course from the 1968 Stanley Kubrick movie, "2001 - A Space Odyssey".
  17. I don't quite see the point of this thread, but that has never stopped me from replying before, so... Saying "oldschoolers" eat mouldy food etc are obviously flawed comparisons. I think it's more fair to compare it to the passion for old cars; They may not be the fastest, have the coolest high-tech gadgetry built in or similar, but they have a level of charm and personality that no new car can really measure up to. The more handcrafted feeling, the older materials used, the less stereotype design and all that give a dimension of enjoyment that new cars can't supply. On the other hand, a new car is often technically superior, and sometimes you do just want something that feels fresh and that simply works... Another take on this topic would be wether us "goa heads" are into other vintage stuff too; I'm not, personally. I want a new computer, a new bike, new furniture and new clothes. I don't listen to old goa trance because it's old, but because it speaks to me much more than the new stuff. In other genres I find older releases much less rewarding than the newer ones.
  18. Perpetual Message - Ethno Stack EP http://www.discogs.com/release/258939 Just missing 4 trans'pact vinyls now.
  19. often the cheap ones are the much more common Distance version. This is the original on Koyote.
  20. Bought the triple vinyl the week it was released in 96, but never found the CD cheap until now: Miranda - Phenomena http://www.discogs.com/release/74901 Now missing 4 CDs, 5 vinyl singles, 1 CD single and 3 vinyl albums on Koyote.
  21. The drawing on the front is a bit blurry (just a little) but the text at the top ("DEVIANT ELECRONICS") is 100% sharp.Same goes for the back side - text is 100% sharp and not pixellated. On the disc the print IS blurry, but that looks like the classic problem with that CD print method (a whiet bottom coating and them CMYK on top - it's very tricky to align in the printing process). The back side of the disc has the following text: "ABLEX 83376 HEX CD2" and also "1 : 1 : 1" as well as "IFPI L041".
  22. Some proper mindfuck acid today: Terrance - Terrance EP http://www.discogs.com/release/159939 New World (2) / Dirk Luchtmeijer - Untitled http://www.discogs.com/release/388920
  23. Test pressings =) A one-sided Juno Reactor 12", More Signs Of Life on 3xLP, a different version of the Fools And Tools 12" than the one released on Twisted and an unreleased Johann 12".
