  1. He was originally on second Dimension 5 album Second Phaze. He released To Sirius the same year as that album, in 2000 and he is Norwegian. And, yes, that album is masterpiece. It is maybe the last goa trance album made. He hasn't released anything since, except of one ambient track somewhere. That is strange, cause after To Sirius, he promised us that he will release another 2 albums, one goa trance one and one ambient. I know I was so hot for it back then, in 2000, and here it is, for almost 5 years, we are waiting for that to happen. I find it very strange cause this guy wasn't amateur when he started, he was already in the scene, colaborating with Dimension 5. I still hope that he will release something soon but no news....
  2. Hey guys, have you heard their stuff as Infected Mushroom before The Gathering album, from 1998 and 1999 ? Singles like Montoya original, Helemf, Twisted, Winston, After 1000 Years, Zahadum, Dream Theater ? They are all nice songs, even though simpler than later stuff, but still better than new stuff cause it was more in their trip than now. But, I still find Symphonatic as one of their best too, and it was single...
  3. Project Genesis was and is their darkest effort and it is great album ! After their first 2 melodic, psychedelic goa trance album, they made dark, psychedelic, dangerous album for twisted minds. Track Why ? is among my favourite tracks of all time, the arrangements on that track are simply amazing! Even their last album, The Message was good, not that inspiring like their previous albums but pretty good... THE PROPHECY - 10/10 NEW KIND OF WORLD - 11/10 PROJECT GENESIS - 10/10 THE MESSAGE - 8/10
  4. I LOVE Psygone, and there are lot of people too, don't worry, you are not alone...I love his album Optimystique and his single Kashmir which is one of his best trax. What a shame guy stopped making music alltogether, same stands for Colorbox guys..They were making goa trance and simply dissapeared like the rest of the best crowd...
  5. I guess they must have been then. Cause they are brothers and I tripped they are sweds, even from the music they made, it sounded swedish....
  6. Yeah, I didn't forget about Laughing Buddha - Karma. It is one of the best Laughing Buddha tracks....And yes, Higher Access by Cosmosis was fenomenal...
  7. Hey Eternal Optimist, Total Eclipse song from Mystery Of The Yeti 2 is called Freefalling Upwards... But, I prefer more from that disc Hallucinogen - Herb Garden...Amazing melody...And I find that moody, subversive melody from A Welcome To All Extraterrestrials as another great melody too..
  8. The best were probably the ones I haven't heard yet and I want a lot ( Hallucinogen, Juno Reactor, Chi-A.D, Battle Of The Future Buddhas, Blue Planet Corporation, Pleiadians ( old I mean ), Transwave, Total Eclipse, MFG etc ) but I've heard lot of Astral Projection, Psychaos, Dino Psaras, Space Cat, X - Dream, Electric Universe, Infected Mushroom, Shakta, Chakra, Miranda, Xerox, GMS, Zorba, SUN Project, Haldolium, and they were all great so I can't name one party...
  9. Yeah, it is very solid, liquid psychedelic ambient. It sounds like some 5 year old wunder kid doing acid and playing with machine, but I don't mean anything bad by this, just that it sounds playful and cute and not so serious as other ambient these days...
  10. Best artists frome each country : ISRAEL : Astral Projection, MFG, California Sunshine, Power Source, Oforia, Space Cat, Xerox & Freeman, Infected Mushroom, Sandman, Chakra, Psysex, Passenger, ENGLAND : Hallucinogen, Chi-A.D, The Infinity Project, Green Nuns, Cosmosis, Shakta, Psychaos, Cydonia, Doof, Tristan, Slide, Darshan, Dimension 5, Man With No Name FRANCE : Transwave, Total Eclipse, Blue Planet Corporation, Talamasca, Absolum, Elixir, Jaia, Deedrah, Bamboo Forest, Toi Doi, Asia 2001, Amtinaous, Amanite FX SWEDEN : Battle Of The Future Buddhas, Colorbox, Psygone, Bypass Unit, Miranda, Vibrasphere, Atmos, Son Kite, Hux Flux, Logic Bomb, Ticon, Human Blue GERMANY : Electric Universe, X - Dream, Planet BEN, Haldolium, SUN Project, The Delta, Children Of Paradise, Tim Schuldt, Organic Noise
  11. Hehe, I am really glad you like it. I am sure that even second one will grow on you even though it is different than Turtle Crossing. Shame cause the guy hasn't made anything since. I find him extremely talented and musical and he surely knows how to trance you out.
  12. Space Cat - Emotions Talpa - My Kingdom SynSUN - Ave Samael Filteria - Navigate Steptime - Timecode Wizzy Noise - Reversible Juno Reactor - War Dogs Psychaos - Synthetic Telepathy Talamasca - Salvian Effect Electric Universe - Acidance Infected Mushroom - Ratio Shmatio Xerox & Illumination & Sandman - Resolution Astral Projection - Mahadeva ( John Fleming Rmx ) Artax - Subconcious Command Vatos Locos - Gates Of Dawn Jupiter 8000 - New Moon Alien Project - Fantasy Human Blue - Harmonix Suria - Another World Miraculix - Eclipse Audiotec - Tantra Son Kite - Focus Astrix - Poison GMS - Goa
  13. As far as I know GMS aren't from Spain but originally from Netherlands, they only produce music in Spain, on Ibiza, and Tristan is british. There are only those few from Italy, so I can't actually count them as a country that produces trance music. Also, how could you count Norway with 3 acts ?
  14. Trance is always best coffee, cigarette or breakfast for the mornings ! I agree with you Lemmi, there is no better waking up ! And I mostly play old school when I wake up ! Hehe
  15. Yeah, Planet BEN and Trippy Future Garden, with that 6 minutes long climax ! BRRRR.... I agree about Cosmosis - Howling At The Moon, but I have to add Technossomy - V.T.O.L. and Battle Of The Future Buddhas - MR. Fantastic ! There is endless list with climactic songs actually : Pleiadians - Maia Slide - Unstable UX - Alien Earth Activity Psychaos - Chaos To Order Total Eclipse - The Furnace Children Of Paradise - Bloodsuckers FLA - Evil Playround ( Tim Schuldt Rmx ) X - Dream - Children Of The Last Generation Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Lord Of The Dance etc.
  16. Why can't we have our opinions here ? I am NOT BASHING him, I just state my opinion. I do think that he regressed and I have right to think that, especially if I HAD SOME RESPECT to him, which I did. Why are everyone bashing Astral Projection these days ? For the same thing, believe me...some of us like someone's progress or whatever you call it, some don't. I personally DON'T LIKE Yahel's progress and I have right to that. If that annoys you Asian Bud Nation, then don't come to Psynews as you blackmailed us when you see things you don't like, your thing...Cheers...
  17. I could of put lot of songs too, but I meant those twirling psychedelic mad noises that twists your brain, but Club Mad is good choice, I would add Chakra & Edi Mis - Brain In The Box ! Amazing, maybe the best one from that album...And from Oforia's album I could say Outer Conception and Uplifter ! Mesmerising Trax !
  18. To me, Yahel lost it ever since Private Collection and his last album Hallucinate was just lame, sorry to say. His first 2 albums were great, then he switched to commerical trance, shame...
  19. I also like Astralasia, but only their ambient stuff, trance stuff, from what I've heard sound a little bit unserious, but their ambient worx are pretty good...
  20. I am not such a full on fan either but there are quailty full on releases and artists : ASTRIX - He is pretty skilfull producer even though he does tend to get into cheese. He has some really nice tunes beside some non sense he released. ALIEN PROJECT - I know lot of people hate him here, but I find his album AZTECHNO DREAM pretty good full on album. Few songs from his last album were pretty good as well. ATOMIC PULSE - They made some very intelligent full on trax on their album and I quite like that psychedelic edge they developed. SURIA - This new full on act is pretty catchy with crazy twisted structures and without non sense. Beside these acts there are few singles some full on producers produced it but it wasn't so inspiring in any case cause of cloning that is going on these days.
  21. Well, I am big listener, also whole day whenever I can, so I could say average 7 days a week, 7 hours a day...
  22. Hey Ukiro, you forgot Talamasca, Asia 2001, Spectral, Joking Sphinx, Amtinaous, Amanite FX...
  23. No, you are not alone, even though I like them the same...Okay, maybe MFG was more melodic than Transwave but Transwave were extremely popular in those days whereas MFG was never so much except among true trancers. I talked to big number of newcommers that don't even know about MFG, but that is always the problem when someone started listening to this music in last 2-3 years. Transwave were loud and energetic where MFG were in Astral Projection shade all the time even though their music is nowhere near in structure.
  24. Yeah, it is always difficult with this polls to name only one, I can name one for each genre : Israel - Best country for melodic and epic structures but not these days, from 1992-2002. England - Definately most insane psychedelic productions with tweaking loonacy and intellect. France - Their mixture of poeticly melodic and hard pumping driving beats is great combination. Sweden - They definately have great scene, and their music was always highly melodic and psychedelic.
  25. I heard also that remix live and my friend told me it is actually X-Dream Rmx of it. In some way I find it even better than original, more massive and energetic. That kick sounds like they put another two filtered ones on top of it, so massive ! FAT, MEAN, AGRESSIVE Rmx it is ! Shame they won't release it.
