not bad at all. although not my stlye of psy. im more into the slower progressive sounds. some suggestions:- robots of acid. um just woundering were the kick drum is?? also try experimenting on just the kick drum & bass. then experiment with different hihats patterns. sounds like your just using on long note. try making a fun & funky melody. its not to hard. even if you just sit there and program it. then layer it with different sounds. as for vangard. try use something like glitch or effectrix on it to cut it up more. they are two awesome effects to check out. try some other vst's like blue fm8 massive these 3 have some awesome arp. presets to give you ideas & when you figure out how the arp. works you can create some great sounds. you can also turn the arp. off so you can use the sound to your own melody. they are my favorite but there are 100's more to choose from

mmmmm im having the same trouble again. im using cubase studio 4. and to export my song i just go file, export, audio mixdown. but i get the reverb tail at the start on my song. probly from the effect 'effectrix' its a genuine copy so thats not the problem. people suggest 'bouncing' a track. what is this & how would i do that??

yeah this album is great! some really cool sounds and ideas in there. love the 8-bit nintendo sounds. track's 2 & 5 are my favorite at the moment :posford:

hahahaha if i was e-ing i woundn't be able to sit in front of my computer. id be bouncing round the house! and i was on acid id be laying on my front lawn watching the frogs float past talking to my dog. lol. weeds ok but i find myself getting stuck on the one little loop and not moving on.

hay i have a new track in my collection somewere that has the sample in it "got to be funky!" it would be a full on track, im thinking exaile, cpu, a-team that kind of area but i cant find it anywere does anyone know the track??

try posting on the israil trance forum. might have better luck there. the track sounds wicked. sounds similar to some stuff i heard about a year ago. but have no idea what i would be.

nice i like the sound of that. been mucking round with bass sounds a bit on the lead. had trouble with poping noises at the end of the note. kind of sorting that out now

hay anyone make psytrance basses on there nord lead 2??? i just got a nord and want to learn to make bass sounds. ive always used samples for my bass but want to build them my self. i made a few but nothing thats impressed me yet. any tips?? tutorials??

i used a xiosynth for the main sound and layed it with blue, fm8 & massive. i also used my nord lead 2 at the end (got it after i had written the song). will try work more on it one day..

i fixed the problem. the cause: the effect "efectrix" on a vocal recording the solution: turn off the effect (wasn't doing a great deal anyway) i think that because it was a demo version i used there may have been something wrong with it

thanks for the help. ive tracked do the problem to 1 vocal recording. im using cubase studio 4 & im exporting as a loop. when the export finishes it releases that sound. how can i get rid of it?? ive always exported as a loop.

i need some help finding out what this ghost sound is at the start of my song after mixdown http://rapidshare.com/files/119924228/Moves_Shakers05.mp3 here's a link to it, you will here it right at the start. ive tryed exporting in different quality's and file types. ive moved all the audio away from the start so there is nothing for 2 secounds. but the sound remains only on the mix down. when i play the song in cubase its not there. any help or tips on getting rid of it??? or on what the hell it is??

if you listern to the end part of your track the kick fits in nicly with it. just at the start its to "out there" i think flatern it a bit but try to filter it down. if that make sence. ive been listerning to simply wave alot of late. the composing behind there tracks is amazing.

hay not bad. nice n proggie. maybe take some of the high crunch sound out of the kick at the start. just so its not so loud let in sit in the music more.

you dont even have to know how to sing just listern to infected mushroom, dali or michele adamson.

then add a vocoda, some distortion reverb delay etc

it got it all working fine. i had the midi channel on the xio-synth set to 16. so i just had to change it in cubase to send to channel 16. what are you having trouble with coz im using cubase studio 4 and a xio synth.
