not a quarter as good are imo the tracks on the new shpongle album! why? easy to answer ... because its a uninspired and desperate copy of typical shpongle sounds and elements from the past years. nothing that kicks hah you're depth.. it doesn't sound the same at all.. it's like comparing nirvana with coldplay.. totally different sound wanna have kicks? listen to "ground luminosity" ott remix, "pagan dream machine" vibrasphere rmx or "spaced" shulman rmx .... sounds fresh, unique and own the very special "feeling" like i said i like it very much but it's nothing phenomenal.. imo

well i totally disagree there, shpongle is 10/10, this is 9/10.. anyways what makes you say this is a milestone. what's so accomplished here. yes it sounds damn good, but a milestone?

it's easy when you find your labels.. just ignore the rest but then when many people mention the same album.. like jaia or antix or haldolium it's definitely worth a check..

well the lsd version he does sounds like it could have been released on for example uns1.. the sound world i mean.. shamanix is ever more shaman ..and so on

..then again he has tweaked all his tunes to pass the 21st century psytrance standards.. they sound rather different to the albums when he does em live

they always seem to release their albums in rather odd ways.. 2nd one came as cd2 of some spiritual zone chill compilation if i'm not mistaken.. and then months after as a real album..

ok ok it's not that bad but some people always seem to end the review like "Well I didn't like this so much but I'm sure most will love it." or "This and that makes this very interesting album, but.." .. it's sort of like copy & paste reviews as if some people have like a base they just add some words to.. whatever

oh come on there's some serious cd whoring going around in the reviewer cycles..

people are forgetting younger brother & shpongle and imo perfect uns2 and only concentrate on 1 mediocre tune at gt4 kicks and yell uninspired..

nah, simon always delivers.. just look at shpongle 3

it's a good solid album 6 or 7 out of ten..

personally i don't usually bother reading any reviews.. other than the very few albums i've reviewed myself.. there i'm interested to know what others think.. other than that i don't give a crap
