Yes that is true, that you will find macs in ANY of the good and big production studios. You will however also find pc's..... Which is better? For me, since PC doesnt have Logic anymore, MAC's are better, since Logic is clearly the better music production software (FOR ME)... I got very tired of Cubase lately, and I can NOT afford to buy a MAC, so I got myself a ProTools version for PC instead (250 euros)... I hope its going to be a lot better and stabler than Cubase. Thing is, that Cubase is a very good program, it has a lot of features, and you can do almost ANYTHING that you can do with Logic, but its just not as stable. I am an owner of SX3, but I am NOT running the version that I bought, I am using a version that I downloaded from some site... why? Because it performs way better without that FUCKING protection dongle! Enough rants, I would say, Macs are better, because they are way more stable when it comes to Audio Processing, and MAC has Logic... Someone else might say diffrently though... I think what it comes down to as well is taste... and ways of working... etc etc

The problem with that, is that you need a Digidesign soundcard, so even if you get a copy of Protools, you couldnt run it However, if you own a M-Audio soundcard, you can get the M-Audio version of Pro Tools, which is almost exactly the same as the Protools LE....

Almost all Native Instrument are RTAS and most of the "Quality" Plugins are as well... PSP Audioware for instance... and there is a virtual Access Virus synth for RTAS that sounds like the original... amazing stuff indeed Im gonna play around with it today

Basically, this is exactly the same, but at a lower bitrate, and it has SOME limitations. You can use ALL the RTAS though, and thats a good thing. It kind of limits you, because there is not as much RTAS as there is VSTis or effects, but it mostly has higher quality ones....

Yes, I have, and its not that bad if you hire from a good company hehe. As I said, there will be no "Cleaning" of the toilettes, thats for the firm that rents them. But there will be swiping the floors and also changine papers and stuff. On a lot of festivals, this is not being done properly, because there is just not enough people to do it....

Too chaotic for me, I dont like the style, but great to see that there is going to be another quality release on Sun Dance (Taste doesnt always matter!!). I like what I hear on these extracts more than the previous album from Talpa though, and I am really looking forward to hear the final product! Hope you surprise me in a positive way Mr. Talpa! :)

Yes, I think they should have. And I must say that in Helsingborg where I am from, all the people are always very eager to help, and I love that. I always helped out on parties, eventhough I paid my entrance and everything, but I also always GOT help on the parties that I arranaged. This is what I think the scene is all about... to share the workload in order to be able to party.... and lets face it, the more volunteers you have, the cheaper the party entrance will be

There are a LOT of people that have never helped on a party, and its more that havent, than those who have. And the purpose was to know how many on this forum would be intressted, without asking for it, JUST YET.... As we are in planning stages, its nice to just "know"

In Spain, Next summer (If we have the time, because its kind of late to plan now...) or the summer afterwards. We, is NEO (New Scene Order) which are a group of people that want to make the scene a better place to stay in. Well, we will do our best to please anyways

Keep in mind that 96% of the people doing one of the best festivals ever (the Roskilde Festival) are volunteers. People dont need to be professionals to wipe floors or change toilette paper, make sure they are not full to the brim etc etc, but to exchange the fluids and so on, has to be done by the people that you rent them from... of course. Comon, do you clean your toilette at home? Anyways, to answer the question what this is for, this is because I would like to know IF there are people out there at all who would volunteer to work in a festival, of course its preferred that they are experienced, but its not a must. At the moment we are at planning stage of a festival next summer, thats all

Lets say that tehre is a outdoor party next summer, where they were looking for 100 people to volunteer for various things. Like taking care that the toilets are clean, making sure that the artists are confortable, making food for the people working there, making sure the place is nice and tidy, and to build everything up of course. Including cleaning the place afterwards.... Would you volunteer?!
