  1. downloading.... cant listen now though
  2. Well, we are working on all the details, and its a lot of work. To get atmos under the wing would definetly be something that we would want, but our methods are kind of diffrent from any other setup of a label. I cant go into detail, because its a lot, but I can reveal that we are NOT going to use any kind of distribution, and we will make sure that the artist gets the most money from a release possible. Only that way we can maintain the quality of the artists releases, and only that way, he will be able to advance technology wise without having to be illegal, by downloading illegal copies etc etc....
  3. Its something that we are setting up at the moment, and it will be the biggest thing in electronic history EVARGH!!! Well, I hope it will, for the sake of the artist and the music that we so much love
  4. Spiral Trax going under is a direct result of Cosmophila's bankrupcy. THATS A FACT. They owed money, that would have been used for new records, artist payment etc etc. I know the EXACT figure as well, but it wouldnt be fair to neither Spiral. nor Cosmop. to bring it up here. BUT it was A LOT of money. Im in NO WAY blaming Cosmophilia, because I can not for 100% sure say what happened, and why. All I can say is: Watch out for NEO!
  5. To stay on topic here: Would you think that this affects the effect though? If you paint the TENNIS balls... I found some spray paint, and im gonna do them now!
  6. Haha, I like the air tha comes out of those slices!!! Yeah these balls are ugg like hell now hahaha
  7. I wouldnt know where to fit that cloth?! These are the monitors that I hve, and the tennis balls are underneath. Thanks for the tip to paint them black, I will buy some spray paint this weekend
  8. ...if you found something out, which is useful for people to know about, even if its OLD news, it might come handy for some people. My tip of the day for getting rid of vibrations from your monitors (speakers) is to cut tennis balls in half, and stick them under your speakers Its ugly as fuck, but it doesnt cost as much as the nice speaker foam that you can buy in shops hehe
  9. Just try loading a couple of heavy instances of instruments in Electrik Piano, Absynth or Reaktor It WILL complain about RAM after a while. Most likely your CPU will first complain, but upon SAVING and then opening the arrangement again in a freshly loaded cubase .... Message will show: Your computer doesnt seem to have enough RAM..... And so on and so on
  10. Indeed very sad, I have spoken to Anti about it, and I wassnt sure if it WAS official. I hate to see another label go under completely Anti also did tell me that ACDC is going to stay, because it didnt run on the same company as Spiral Trax Sucks for Anti, but he seems to be cheerful, and is going to go and Study. I will go and visit soon, and go for a beer with the guys
  11. Gonna listen later The Name of the mix reminds me of that houst track, get your hands of my man. I am gonna make a remix of that one, saying "Get your man of my hands"
  12. All depends on WHAT Vsti you are using. If you are using almost ANY of the NI Instruments, then you will need RAM. I have ran out of RAM MANY times, and I have now updated to 3GB. I will essentially have 4GB. Yes, Cubase and the VSTis use CPU, but dont let yourself get fooled by the Performance Monitor To boot Windows XP, you will need atleast 64mb ram and to run it you need 128. So you have very little already. I would recommend that you get atleast 1gb RAM so you can get your system up and running stable. Upgrading your RAM at this moment will cost you less than a motherboard and processor, that is good enough for a couple of years.. Once you have upgraded your RAM, then go to this page: www.musicxp.net and use their Tuning tips to get the most out of your computer for music production on windows XP
  13. Sonify & NSL - Lifted Higher FUCKING HELL THATS GOOD! I hope that the dist is intentional though, but what I hear, if it wassnt distorted is fucking nice!!!
  14. I will make it a wav and run it through wavelab here and do some modifications, and then send it to you Let me see if I can do it this evening
  15. Both you and GSH, take this WAY to serious
  16. Nah, Martinez (the same guy you are referring to) lives in Denmark but is from my hometown Helsingborg in Sweden. I just recieved 5 promos from them Very nice music indeed....
  17. Martinez from Sweden? Hes mah buddy!
  18. sounds very good, but it needs some mastering Hi's are a bit sharp, basses a bit tame Edit, EQing made it sound a lot better here on my Genelecs and in the AKG phones. I removed SOME 6k some 12k and a bit more 14k. Just if you wanted to know
  19. All depends, I like playing live with the virus, because I have more control over my tweaking, and it is "live" If I record automations, thats not the same thing, imo. You can make really nice sounds with software, and I use 80% of it in all tracks, but when it comes to originality, the virus or any other synth I have owned beats any software. It depends what you want to do, what you want your sound to be like, etc etc. Both have advantages and disadvantages
