http://picosong.com/yLwg/ i guarantee the sidechain is there overwhelmingly. added. the vocal part of the song making it "complete" (starting around 1:43) drum roll from the sample at guitar start and vocal start id say not bad for one days of work im fairly done atm i think. next comes the mixing part. gonna bounce everything into Nuendo and mix it there making it sound more decent.

i dont even think its very similar to the 303. maybe if you throw a chorus at it you could do something like it..

I used to do Acid (several times a month for a few years) Shrooms (not as much) Hasch (several grams a week for many years) Extacy (several times a month for many years) and of course alot of non-psychedelics too like opiat based drugs and benzos. and now, roughly 10 years later Ive just come out of a very long period of panic attacks, depression, and anxiety. I still live with severe DP + DR (depersonalization and derealisation) and a mild HPPD. I no longer have the anxiety attacks but still a mild case of depression. I have also developed alcoholism due to the above as an "easy way out" for the acute symptoms. The alcoholism itself has had its own very severe consequences aswell. (prison for example) I consider myself a shell of a man, and utterly lost in the void. I am 31 years old and struggle with the most mundane tasks of life. But yeah, I had some fun years in at the start but was it worth it? Trololo. No. Sorry for being a downer just thought Id serve as perhaps a warning or something, I dunno. maybe I can stop at least ONE person from doing the same mistakes I did. sorry for being a downer though. Im sure I just did too much, to many different things, and under a too short of time (all in about 4-5 years) didnt mean to get all emo but it just kinda came out.

sounds very good. nice quality on both kick and bass. I really couldnt give you any pointers though as I do not listen or enjoy dark psytrance. all the tips I could make would make it sound like goa but it sounds very good. has a very nice professional feel to it. good job. Im curious as to what daw you use? It doesnt sound like either reason nor FL, and it quite doesnt sound like cubase either. Is it perhaps Logic? Sounds a bit like Logic. (yes, I imagine I can hear the differences between the daws, lol)

hey! thanks for the suggestions. Yeah, I will definately add fillers such as one-shots, stabs and such with heavy delay. but i usually do that in the end when the basics are covered. what type of percussion do you think i should add? bongos? congas? ive never made house before so not entirely sure what is a "must" as you say. i thought house just followed the basic trance 4/4 format. i will definetely try to add some sweeps, thats a really good idea.

Hello Thought Id make a housey remix of The Who - Eminence Front. I just made a very rough draft in Reason with the sample base (intro , main , main + guitar solo) and a basic beat ontop.
