  1. Rrrgh. Psyshop must have one of the smallest stock's around. I was just about to order this one, Tempus Viator, and Freshly squeezed. ...Out of stock... I'll try Saikosounds for the first time in my life I think, I heard all possitive things about it, just a little slower I guess...
  2. Some psychedelic-chill out like Liquid Records releases I enjoy a lot, also Zero Cult, Aes Dana, H.U.V.A. Network etc... Some dark trance like Ka-Sol, Datakult, Catatonic Despair, Celsung, Total etc... Most Goa like old Chi-Ad, Digital Sun, Dreamweaver, Prana, Future Prophecy etc... Some progressive as old Spirallianz, Midimiliz, Fuzzion, Krumelur, Yumade etc... And some Full-On like the old Timecode releases, and some other like Phyx and other South African artists, not all though...
  3. Hmmm, let's call it a matter of taste. Not only their music is a little disturbing; http://e.discogs.com/viewimages?what=R&obid=252482 Strange little cover-art they use there. And, yes, I didn't quite got what all the hype around the Mars Volta was about either.
  4. I can't add something new here, It's great. Very catchy.
  5. Thought this one might fit in here.... http://www.psy-harmonics.com.au/wipv3_6/pa...8632&db=Entries
  6. Yes! Great, I love this incense drenched label! Beautifull cover too.

Maybe your'e looking for a Krumelur track? I just can't remember wich one... Damn memory Maybe Tortoise Tower...
  9. Yes I love their artwork too.It matches the music perfectly, both great quality. Ordered this one, expect it in a few days.
  10. Yes, Trentemoller definatly! I just ordered a bunch of cd's and wanted to buy Trentemoller too, but Psyshop doesn't sell it. Maybe they'll have it in some normal electronic music store.
  11. Pfff, I dunno, only one, sort of catchy tune, pops up in my mind; Etnica - Trip Tonite.
  12. Yes ,exactelly, the high emotional touch the raw sound the psychedelic concept, it left me stunned the first time, and I too was completely obsessed by it, I didn't steal from people but I did stole through p2p, A LOT, just to feed my mind over and over with this amazing music. But I do realise now, if you really listen to a particullar artist a lot, support him, they make the music for the people, so the people should support them.(If you have the possibility to do so offcoarse)Still p2p is a good way to find out wich one's you love and keep loving.
  13. Dark Elf - More More More. Great drive, a smooth ride on a dark train.
  14. The connection is maybe that, spiritual minded people created this Eastern Philosophy feeling inside this sub-culture cause it matches their own view of life. I probably shouldn't tell you this but, imo their is a HUGE connection between psychedelic drugs and Eastern Philosophy (look at the Tibetean Book of the Dead) and since the music once was inspired by Psychedelics it's an obvious connection. But once again, it might seem to be lost now.
  15. Yea I understand, it feels like it's the music from the future, High Tech Music. Just trying to explain, it might be too much at once, dunno. Edit; after re-reading your opening text I might not completly understand. Maybe you don't feel there is any connection between Eastern Philosophy,(cause there is no real connection between it) and nowadays it seems lost indeed. It's just a hippy thing I guess then.
  16. Futuristic Music, yea, this is how I feel about psytrance too. The connection, well, their are many articles that explain the definition of GOA and all the aspects, origins and influences. It's a combination of Eastern Philosophy and the celebration of life through dance and trance. The first time I heard goa I couldn't believe people made this kind of music, this was exactelly what I wanted to hear, since I had allready a wide intrest in Psychedelic Mushrooms I went nuts about the psychedelic concept of Goa Trance. Later I gathered more knowledge about the subject and the connection between Eastern Philosophy and Psychedelic Drugs.(This is my view only, I'm not saying it's all about drugs). So I guess you'll figure it all out when the time is there. Ok, right, the music, I prefer Psychedelic Trance from before 1999 because of the raw sound. But now there are many quallity releases out too, you'll just have to find out wich apeal most to your'e own personal taste.
  17. Can't be that much worse, if you ask me.
  18. I heard this cd yesterday and I don't really know what to think.I don't really recognized the old Ocelot, imo it's not bad at all , just strange to hear how they took a new direction, I had the same thing with Para Halu - The World of Peace. This one is like more funky then the older Ocelot sound. I need to hear it again.
  19. Great review, and well said, everything from Peak is indeed been high quality, this is the reason I allways look forward to another Peak release. ...It's actually dedicated to Syd Barrett, the acid casualty from Pink Floyd.
  20. http://212.227.206.198/cgi-bin/zoom.cgi?sp...pe1cd011.html:; Yuk!
