  1. I don't bring my studio, fortunately enough but... Just a great Clavia synth, a violin, laptop and a mixer (and so much cables)... Sorry for low quality vid... :-D
  2. @ Manuser, yes, there's a live version of that track @ 150 BPM, maybe I will release it for free, when the mix/master will be almost good (I will decide !)... Guess I will have to talk seriously with some old "archives" of mine and re-work on all that melodic mess ;-) @ Spicy_RolL : thank you very much, anyway you don't have to call me Lord, I'm just... just... And sorry for the late answer, I only check Psynews when I have spare time, that is to say, almost never :-P
  3. Hello there, see my comments about 'Ganesha Pramena' here : https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/68879-khetzal-ganesha-pramana-10-bpm-slower/?hl=khetzal ;-)
  4. Manuser, I think it's really your very own personal opinion and taste. That track has for me a real story, 160 BPM was not a choice for me, but the expression of my mood when I produced it (say, I was very angry, maybe...). Anyway, maybe it was a mistake, or not... Or maybe a track has to be respected the exact way it was created. You just don't like it like that, your taste (again). I was not aware of that "150 BPM version on YouTube"... Or a topic on the forum just about that. That said, maybe you will be happy to hear that the live version (the one I play usually with my violin in all my live-acts), plays at... ... 150 BPM !!! Ta daaaaaaaaaaaa :-D Anyway, thanks for the comments, I always appreciate !
  5. Hey, I wish to thank you all for the nice comments about my track. I do really appreciate. Nice vibes, I need that sorta'things to get me more involved in my 2nd album. *crosses fingers* And yes, I agree, I did not challenged myself on this one (@ Jon Cocco, I like your comments, did you know ?). Good news : I'm working on it. Bad news : it will take a lot of time to get ready, and make it really interesting and challenging, to my tastes. Well. Enough said. Thanks again to all people waiting for my tracks and not forgetting me, and... Stay tuned ! Matt AKA KhetzaL

Something Like That Front Cover : ARTISTS PROFILE : In 2002 the project Life Extension arose from the meeting of two DJs well known by the Parisian stage (DJ Stenman and DJ Olive). Present on any biggest french events such as the TBE, Osmoses, Gaia, Dayglo parties, they played with the biggest international artists. Their very first track, 'Ticket to The Moon', was a success without being sold !!! That was one of the motivations to really launch the project... Since then, they released several tracks on international labels such as Mind Control ( FR), Digital Oracle ,Shiva Space Technology (Germany), Utopia (Israel), Arcadia (Japan), Transient (UK), Mahogany (FR), Avigmatic (FR) and also collaborated with DJ Lestat (Talamasca) on the track 'Unknown' that was released on the album 'Made In Trance' and 'State of confusion' on the label Digital Oracle. Influenced for more than ten years by the psychedelic trance music with groups such as Juno Reactor, Transwave, Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, Talamasca, Astrix, they turned in a morning full-on style. Their performances in many places were noticed and the revelation of this young french group is very promising. 9. Full-busy here, I must say No 2nd album before a looooooooooong time. Sorry you will have to wait for some releases on V/As her and there (Suntrip, Avigmatic...).
  10. Yes for sure I could I do have a musical "degree", not really in musical composition, but in musical theory... Started playing violin when I was only 5 year old. And studied violin and musical theory during twelve years. That's really enough to know how to produce classical pieces, but not real masterpieces. That's why melodic stuff is so deep in my life and of course in my tracks. Anyway, some things I did not learn : how to produce a dancefloor-killer energetic track, how to make sounds "cut" the mix, a lot of other things, really. So...
  11. I agree with that ! Anyway, thanks for the nice comments about the track
  12. Yes for sure, I was promoting my track (my artist name was Quetzal, he he !), because I was really absolutely unknown in 2001, and right now I don't really think there's so much people around trance scene knowing my name... I would add my point : I think in my own situation, I would see no problem for releasing tracks for free, because the important thing is music itself we can give to people and the feedback they give to us. But of course right now I don't work for free, that's the way things have to be. But I think the most sad thing happening is artists working too much with copy-and-paste and getting too much for their tracks... That's my point of view of course. Everybody have to make choices...

Lightshaper Front Cover : ARTISTS PROFILE : DigiCult consists of Alpha (Davy Piessens) and DJ Nemesis (Bert De Decker). Alpha had been producing all kinds of music for a long time, with interests evolving throughout the years from techno to trip hop. By teaming up with DJ Nemesis, who had been familiar for a long time with all aspects of psychedelic music, they formed the perfect duo to bring you their own interpretation of contemporary trance. Since 2003, they’ve been given the time to grow under the wings of Belgian organisation Dacru (www.dacru.be). Their style can be described as full-on morning with an oldskool touch, paving the way for a typical ‘Belgian’ vibe. Combining power bass lines with smooth melodies, their primary aim still is making you fly, at home or on the dancefloor... In 2005 things took off with gigs in Belgium, Italy, Spain, Tunisia and a tour in Mexico where they were headliners at the New Years festival on the beach of Cancun. The particular energy in their melodies didn’t go unnoticed as they were spreading their music on various different labels : Avigmatic records (France), USTA records (Israel), Divine Balance records (USA) and of course Dacru records (Belgium). And to top it all off, in July 2006 we will see the long awaited release of their full album in Avigmatic records (www.avigmatic.com). This promising new French label sets out to promote positive trance music - a perfect setting for DigiCult’s melodic vibes! Party-wise things keep on booming with a fully booked summer schedule. In 2006, Digicult will be conquering the whole of Europe playing major festivals in many different countries such as Germany (Full Moon Festival), Italy, The Netherlands, Spain (Freaky Dragons festival), Czech Republic, Lithuania, Portugal, Northern Ireland and Belgium.
