  1. We've been having tsunami warnings here. I live fairly close to he coast, and the earthquake off Russia has definitely made a lot of potential problems, but luckily I Iive far enough inland that it's unlikely to be a problem. However, the last 2 days the trains have been delayed for hours and hours because of this and it's taken me ages to get to and from work. Very tired
  2. Did this ever happen? If it did I totally missed it because I would totally be paying money to hear this
  3. I have never heard this release, but I have listened to Easily Embarrassed - Tales Of the Coin Spinner hundreds of times, but I have always had it in my mind that it was an alias of some other artist I am now drawing a total blank on. Their Bandcamp page shows that I am just completely wrong, but am I? Were these guys part of another downtempo group?
  4. For some reason I do not have any of these virtual releases on my DAP I just searched of Ishq and all it brought up was compilation tracks. What is wrong with me? Why have I forsaken Matt Hillier? I doubt it's because he charges like $100 for his new releases, even on digital formats, because I would still love to listen to the stuff I bought when I was into buying CDs
  5. Was there ever any Stillness Vol 2,3 or 4? Seeing as no one commented on this in 16 years, I guess no one else is bothered Gus Till has a lot of stuff on Bandcamp in a similar vein and a lot is "name your price" Check it out
  6. This is one of those albums that randomly come on and I'm like "wow this is great, what is it?" Then I check and am like "Of course, this is amazing" but for some reason never choose to actively listen to. It's weird because it is very good, I am not sure why I always skip past it when searching what to listen to.
  7. Slinky Wizard - Licence to Slink 😎
  8. This is a very nice mellow prog trance album. One of the best and most endearing. One I still listen to most springs and early summer days. It is lush and nice and maybe got lost in the acidic synth realm it tired to flower under. Give it another try, you will probably like it.

    Midnight Soul Dive

So many good tracks on this album. Really good for an accessible, night time album.
  10. I am sure that this amazing release got more love than "one single comment" We must have missed all the love with a system update that erased everything, right?
  11. Still an amazing dark ambient album. Definitely worth a listen along with the equally amazing Derelict World
  12. Gus Till is a pillar of the Goa Trance community I cannot believe than in all these years, this has so few comments. Did people just not know about this amazing release and its follow up?
  13. This is my go to album every time I go to see the Jellyfish room at the Enoshima aquarium. It is just perfect aquatic ambient that definitely deserves more attention than it's got.
  14. This is easily the best thing from Demon Tea Recording. Seriously check out their later stuff, it is.....interesting
  15. I listened to this for the first time in a decade the other day and it was lush and warm and nostalgic. Why hadn't I listened to it for more than a decade? Well there's just so much music you know, and I stupidly followed the smartphone crowd into streaming music but I have since tried to regress myself back to more analogue days and I am so glad to rediscover such gems like this. Only one comment on this review....clearly and undiscovered gem for many people.
  16. When I was 35 folks, as you can see I was a real character. I will still stand by everything I said almost a decade ago and almost 2 decades ago (fuck me I am feeling old) This is and always will be an amazing buy. 3 different mixes: Chilled, Mid-tempo, Stompin'; and they are all absolutely amazing. It doesn't look as cheap as it once was on Discogs but I still bet you can get it for much less than it's worth.
  17. Atmos - Always in Control -Well here comes another one for a psychic blowjob 😂
  18. Definitely. Artists are damned if they change and damned if they stay the same. Trolls will always want to complain. I've seen plenty of artists go in a direction that I didn't like but good for them, if that is what they want to make, more power to them. It always made me laugh listening to people complain that an artist had "sold out" like they wouldn't make more poppy music if someone drove a dump truck full off money up to their house
  19. Welcome to parenthood @RTP😲 Sounds like a rough start but moving in the right direction is good. When I say "unbridled joy" what I really mean is a love I never thought I had in me. There are difficulties and frustrations. My wife and daughter do not get on at all, which makes it really difficult as my wife doesn't work and is home with her all day, every day. My daughter was diagnosed with OCD this year and it is affecting her food. She needs to weigh everything before eating it to convince herself that she's not eating too much (the huge weight loss doesn't convince her of this) and it's a real struggle to get her to eat enough. My wife's branch of angry parenting just doesn't help. I think if I was the stay at home dad and she worked, then this never would have happened.
  20. That's a bit out of my price range 😕
  21. This sounds like a great idea. Rotten timing for me as it's too early in the AM for me to ever tune in. I clicked the link and it just said that nothing is playing. Looks like anyone can add videos to the stream. Is that right? Nice concept, except I never watch music video or listen to music from my PC
  22. It's amazing how well some albums age, ths still sounds as fresh as it did almost 20 years ago
  23. We need updates for 2025 What are you guys using to listen to your Psy? I finally converted to digital. Haven't actually bought a CD in years, although I do still have my collection of 1000s to annoy my wife with. That's right, they cannot be trashed or sold and will stay here FOREVER. I am currently using the Sony NW-ZX707 DAP with FLAC files through the balanced input with: Final Audio A6000 IEMs for when I am out Sennheiser HD 560s Open Back Headphones for when at home alone Both have great attention to detail and both are super comfortable for long listening sessions. The A6000s sound so good but are super light, that I barely notice that I am wearing them. For an IEM they have great soundstage, and the bass still reverberates. The Sennheiser HD 560s are lush. They are my first open backed headphones so I don't have a whole lot to compare them to, but the soundstage is huge, they are super comfortable and I am hearing more in my music than I ever had before. I really love these and the A6000s. I don't listen much to music on speakers anymore. My wife is a big stick-in-the-mud and doesn't want anything over a pathetic volume, so unlike her father, I won't spend $500,000 on a pair of speakers, all I have are some Bose Soundlink Flex. They are really good for basic listening if you don't need party sound, and boy am I not allowed party sound 😔
