  1. This is like me, the guilty meat eater. I would love to be vegetarian, but I like meat too much. If they could produce a synthetic substitute that really tasted the same, I would love it. Until then...
  2. It's made out of PEOPLE
  3. Kpop Demon Hunters Another movie I watched with my daughter. She's not in to Kpop, but she is in to demos and hunters and things that go bump. I actually enjoyed it, it's about a kpop band that are actually demon hunters, here to protect us from the hordes that would feast on our souls. Said hordes send up their own rival pop group (a boy band) to steal their fans and take over the world. It was a nice movie, fun and easy to watch. There is no Kpop in it, everything is Korean American, in English and decidedly American pop. The songs though are ridiculously catchy and I can see why this is so popular. I hate pop music because it's catchy and gets stuck in my head and I now despise one of the songs from this movie The ending is a bit lame in that everything happens to easily. Even my daughter, who's 10, said it shouldn't have been that easy. Worth a watch, especially if you have kids you want to watch a movie with together, it's not too kiddy, as an adult who hates pop music, I still liked it.
  4. 27 years old Still sounds fresh. A timeless classic
  5. The cheek 🤯 At this level do you think of it as free advertising or as stealing?
  6. Looking forward to this now 🙂 Thanks @Skytrancer
  7. Wow. I liked the samples a lot more than I thought I would. It's not old AP, but not should it be. It kind of harks back to their original style but still evolved nice. An enlightened evolution if you will.
  8. DIfferent names for different styles I suppose. The fact that both styles were Goa is strange though.
  9. I was listening to this a few weeks ago, it is still a really good listen, and I am still shocked by the last track each time. Just why do you chill me out, then bash my head in? Oh my god are we ever in Hicksville?
  10. I'm not the best with streaming, I tend to listen to music I have purchased rather than music that I haven't, or at least stuff that I have on my local device.
  11. After listening to Pleiadians so many times, I thought I'd give Etnica some love 😂 Not as good as Pleiadians, but still very enjoyable
  12. I love Darshan, I'll check it out when I am feeling more upbeat Right now I'm playing John Novak - The Moon is a Strange God Really good ambient if that's your thing
  13. What is this? I have never heard this in the sample at all, I have always heard “I believe that with the advent of acid, we discovered a new way to think, and it has to do with piecing together new thoughts in your mind. Why is it that people think it’s so evil? What is it about it that scares people so deeply, even the guy that invented it, what is it? Because they’re afraid that there’s more to reality than they have ever confronted. That there are doors that they’re afraid to go in, and they don’t want us to go in there either, because if we go in we might learn something that they don’t know. And that makes us a little out of their control.” Am I hearing things completely wrong here?
  14. It is pretty old sounding, still I liked it. I need to find it in my physical collection as I cannot find it in my digital one
  15. I have other rooms to stay awake in
  16. 17 years away, I am sure that you don't see this, but I miss you. You were a big part of Psynews, when Psynews was a big part of me.

I hope that you're doing well, wherever you are and whatever you are doing

  17. What did you think of Rainbirds? I remember really loving this album but I haven't listened to it in years. It is not in my digital collection, I need to rummage through my CDs to find it and rip it (same with Juno Reactor - Transmissions
  18. Now playing Hymn 27 minutes of pure joy I wish would never end
  19. Still slogging through this book and while I will finish it, eventually, I didn't think I will ever read another book by David Mitchell again. The culmination of this book came in the PENultimate section, it read like Young Adult fiction but it flowed well and kept you wanting to read. Then the last section came and, I just have no idea why this is here? It is just like a really long epilogue that no one wanted. I am on the last chapter now, and unless something comes in the next few pages that ties everything in to a satisfying ending, then it's just going to be as pointless as the other 60% of this book that was trying too hard to be clever but just was not, and was not interesting. David Mitchell, my advice is to stick to TV, you were quite funny, your books suck.

Do I still feel this way 12 years later? And 32 years after the original release? You bet I do! A timeless classic that never gets old
  21. 32 years on from this release and it'd still something I listen to quite often, a couple of times a year at least on top of the similar Dragonfly comps around the same time. If it has Genetic - Trancemission, I'll listen to it any time of the day
  22. Rena Jones - Driftwood I didn't realize she had so many other albums, there's even one with Kilowatts that looks interesting
  23. Well, I guess misery loves company because that makes me feel better It's 1 am here now, just finished the walk the cleaning and everything, should I sleep (I should) or sit up doing things I want to do?
  24. My god, 30 (THIRTY) years later and this is still really really amazing. Needs more listens to get me back in the trance spirit
