Yeah the Substance release was in 1997

We lost the name years ago. Psychedelic trance sections in record shops are filled with Skazi, Tube & other acts that are in no way psy-trance but label themselves as it. The music is still there, it's just time for a re-branding :wank:

The music is strangely nostalgic too, like music from an old horror movie I watched when I was young!

I can't see anyone having a problem with that review. Hardly mini, just not epic track by track. Informative & easy to read.

My favourite minimal albums are Son Kite - Perspectives Of... Atmos - Headcleaner Planet Ben - Silver all very subtle & can take some work to get into but definitely worth the effort. as for dark psy I don't really know if it's considered darkpsy but I like Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Twin Sharkfins Cydonia - In Fear of a Red Planet which sound like dark goa to me edit: that wasn't very recent. I like Minilogue - Animals for crunchy minimal as for recent dark psy I'm not sure Derango - Tumult got a lot of attention.

I lost interest in this one after all the hype & delays. I'm sure I'll get round to listening to it one day but although I've liked entheogenic albums none have I actually loved longer than a week.
