1. the sad thing my friend is that this subgenre posseses at least 70% of the releases nowadays.

and yes;it has nothing to do with psychedelic trance.

    396111

I call it dark metamorphisis techno, far from being the psychedelic aspect of yesteryears. This is what I wish all Americans to understand, but whatever. :-D Some do, they're very few, but they're there!

*bang bang bang* yo yo yo *bang bang bang* weeza dark metamorphisis techno *bang bang bang* but we think it's psychedelic JEAH!

I guess all electronicmusic sounds good under psychedelics, erm, well, a lot of it :-D so i guess to us over here, "it's all psychedelic and trance like"

    HEHE!

I'll go cast my vote now.

  3. Congrats Nemo, he is totally cute.  :D  I would be so proud if i were you. Psynews' first psy-baby!

    well done man. :)

    395169

Actually, no. Malick has him beat, 9 months ago ;) Maybe they can play together, but Malick isn't much of a player. He's too much into grabbing my records off of my bookshelf. It's always Hux Flux and Sandman records. I don't understand?!?!

Enjoy Nemo. I wish you the very best. I will say right now that he looks old! Older than you! Get used to it. They progressively get younger. Malick's first picture @ the hospital was insane. He looks 100 years old and now, he emerges as his cute young baby-self. A lot of fun. Spoil him now, and spoil yourself with him. Don't buy the swing, don't buy the "put your kid away while you play" stuff. It's horrible. I know from experience :-D It's best to spend time with your lil one. Even if you sit him next to you on the computer. Also have another computer on the floor so he can play. Malick had officially crashed his first windows box at 7 months; I was so proud. I'm hoping by 2 years, he can drop the internet when he's mad at someone *laugh* just kidding. Anyways, a picture of my lil psy baby who heard his first loud banging psy at 5 1/2months FETUS age: (Nemo, again congratulations on another psybaby. We need more breeders in this day and age of this scene!!)

P.S. Psybabies are fun. Find out if lil' nemo likes the dark stuff (malick prefers it) or the melodic build up stuff? Full on, whatever. Find out! And make sure to have much of that kind on hand for him! :)

    Best of luck!

  4. I'm listening :)

    394562

K, I'll PM you. I'm going to want to wait though if you don't mind on the trade, finishing trades with taika-kim and the journey man. :-D

I will send you what I have available. I just sold a bunch on ebay though, someone disappeared and didn't pay for one, so I'll just pm you -- whatever! :)

  5. Hi mate, I've been up against you plenty of times before on the notorious ebay. I guess I missed out on your collection then. Since your clearly in the know I'm chasing Accidental Occidentalism have you ever seen it up for grabs ?

The CD? Goodluck! =] The Sampler on vinyl? I have it! Which one?

  6. Asimo, yeah, it's cool.

But only today I read that they have developed an exoskeleton for lifting heavy stuff in Japan... Hmm they really have a fetish for those robot armors there :D

And yeah, I sent Mystery of The Yeti today, too!

    392353

Awesome. You Finnish rule. :) Kim, thanks man. 5-8 days and it should be there! Thanks again man and sorry about that ebay listing :-P. I'll be in touch with ya bud!

  7. I think if there is a video camera involved, well, fuck off, unless you have my permission. This particularly applies for those relating to journalists and for-profit money hungry morons :)

Otherwise, if you're a local doing it for some fun, I don't mind.

Flashing still cameras, I can't stand the flash. If there's enough lighting, leave the flash off. If there's not enough light, don't bother. Then there's the reason as posted above. Some people just look stupid at certain moments. Facial expressions, etc. Some things just were never meant for camera. Again it boils down to permission. If you get the express verbal consent face to face from the people involved in the photo, sure, go ahead. But why waste the effort? We're at the events to enjoy our time, not to become the next big psynews.org/index.html main photo :-P to be made fun of.

I personally do take pictures. Away from other folks though. It's always among the group I am there with or those I've known for awhile and have seen a few times or more at parties. I don't take many, just a few to capture that event! DJs SHOULD NOT HAVE FLASHES DURING MIXES! The end! :)

Who's this fighting for another TIP release ...and willing to eat salami for both lunch and dinner all next month in order to pay for the CD?

    392310

Haha, visine! I just scored 3 of the releases, yeah. I know! I'm just saying, the easier found ones I've picked up for ~5-10 bucks a pop going for 60-70, and I don't find it easier finding these nippon crown releases. :-P I'm kind of hating this CD thing because vinyl seems to go for so much less :-D And I like that!

Heheh! But I just want to finish my nippon crown collection! I can't find blue anywhere else and I don't remember seeing it in the past (not that I looked very hard!)

I made plenty of money on my record auctions too to supply the money for these. Way more monies than I expected from spending 300 bucks and earning back 170 of it on less than 1/4th of the LPs I scored for the deal :-D So, I have money to throw away!!! :):):))) My ignorance is another man's bliss.

  9. It's Mystical Experiences... It's OK but not great, so I'm not selling it and hope somebody offers something hot for it to me ;)

    392271

Haha :) Yo man, I posted the CD. Also, I would be all about the ME but I have a copy on CD already. If it was sealed, I'd want it. I like sealed CDs :)

Anyways, I'll keep you in mind for any future trading TK! Thanks again buddy! P.S. They have a new robot in your town:

    That kicks butt!

  10. I know, it is kinda ridiculous, but on a personal level it's rather comforting as I have those three CD's and a wealth of equally rare CD's.

I suppose if someone pays £50 for a rare CD who's to say they don't get £50 of enjoyment from it?

    392086

You do have a point, Charlie. I suppose. I just think it's fun to watch when with enough alotted time, you can get them for much cheaper. :) I guess, I see the space pussy single up to 50 when just a few weeks ago it sold for 8 bucks hehe. I don't know, this is one of those topics where it's just here for the amusement of those who have various CDs that they paid next to nothing for :):):)))) and we can watch those others who are willing to give up what I would call a life savings for them!

Ahhhhhh...It's just so nice, sometimes :)

    Aaron

  11. Well, browsing ebay today for some music and what not and this is what I come up with. People are paying absurd amounts for TIP CDs lately! I wish I could get that amount for mine, erm, I could, but I don't want to :)

Anyways, for those curious at outrageous bids:

Hahaha, I hope some of you find this just as amusing as I do. *grin*

  12. I've only seen it twice in Japan on Yahoo auctions, once when I bought it and a second time with only the Cd and no cover  so even over here in Japan it is pretty rare. Black is pretty hard to come across as well.

    390741

Yo Rennis! Minneapolis represent :-P. Haha, I was hoping you'd respond. I got it for 39.99 in mint/as good as new condition, everything intact, even the case is awesome. Anyways, thanks for the update on that. Apparently they're all "pretty common" I've got word from some other folks on psynews and well, of course with offers to trade for regular tip compilations, bahaha. :> Is there any news on how many were written? I wish it were easier to find "Quantity Produced" for CDs, it'd be a helluvalot easier determining rarities from commons, kind of like cards n stuff :)

    Aaron

  13. Out of curiosity, how rare is this album? We have a rarity thing going on here :> or did. I see there are 15 people on discogs who have it in their want list and 5 people have it, erm now 6, me. I came across it at a fair price today and was like wow, I think I had better grab that one. So alas I did.

Any feelings on this matter would be cool to hear. I'm trying to get all the "tip" releases from Nippon Crown so if you can help, let me know. I have orange, white, and now mu clear. Need "black" "yellow" and "blue"

  14. Regarding post count: I am merely saying, 10 posts in 2 hours, same thread, come on? Obviously they're spending two hours in front of that thread, watching aimlessly, waiting for a response just so they can say something they said 3 posts ago.

Now, I might had been off cue jumping to the statement that you must have no life if all you do is post, thus having 3000+ posts. My apologies, however, I do find it rather unfruitful for a forum that's supposed to have information and whatnot to have posts with faces, "HEHE's" and random other things. If you have nothing to contribute, why bother pressing the reply/quote links?

I'm not going to say that this is my forum now. These are merely my opinions and they can be a bit objectional to a few of you; that is okay. I am not GOD@PSYNEWS and therefore I'm not holding my opinions against anyone personally. What *I* would like to see is more information, parties, get togethers, world wide psynews peace talked about and enjoyed.

Banning people should only occur when things get way out of line, personal threats/harm, stalkers, and other random things as such. Posting limits should be applied to those who think 50 posts a day can be relevant. AND I DOUBT....Any of you will say that those who post a bunch a day always have something worth reading in the post, thus being informative? Right! =] I believe you!

Anyways, again, Mars is our god and we will accept this for he controls the faith of our world here at psynews. If we cannot accept this we shall forfeit our psynews reality and do a hyperdimensional transfer to another realm/world. And I must say, good for those people who say "I'll never be back!" Well, some I'll miss, but the internet has many forms of communication. If you're that infatuated with a person, maybe get a date, or even....E-mail them =] It works!

This is my final post to this thread. It should not last much longer and perhaps should be locked and people resume their normal psynews lifestyles. Enjoy guys, and see ya on the forum.

  15. One: Topic of drugs-

Site owners can be held responsible depending on legislation and laws specified per country. In the United States, allowing open drug discussions on here where users are actively mentioning them can be pushed back onto Mars for harboring a drug user or dealer. This is: True. It's unfortunate, and I am sure other countries have their own measures into this. HOWEVER, I know of not one case where "conspiracy to harbor" a "criminal" where the "criminal justice system" of any country has brought down a website and prosecuted the owner. I just wanted this to be mentioned

    Two: Fighting-

I see a lot of fighting happening everywhere. It's not too much to ask of people to get along and stay ontopic with the scene. In fact, it's justified for Mars to impose such rules. I feel if I was to be interested in my very own site and I was MATURE (unlike many here and sometimes including myself) I would dislike shifting through all the bullshit posts relating to personal egos, who's bigger and more badass than who, etc. It's not applied to what Mars initially had started this site for. This is a communities. In communities, they try to eliminate the criminals, unjust, and unruly. If you think you want whores working outside your place, sobeit. This is just a saying, but here is a community that isn't necessarily utopian and never will be, but relax and enjoy. Share more about the music and the communities in which you partake (if you even do!)

If you're here for drama, get a life. There are far better things to do. I see people with 3000 posts plus who apparently don't get out much =]]] I don't understand the reasoning behind this but nor will I question their lifestyle. However, I find it pretty pathetic to see 10 posts by the same person in 2 hours in one thread. I know bandwidth is on the rise and nobody pays any attention to it, but if you're unable to sum up what you have to say for awhile in one post then you need to get rid of that writers block immediately or stay off the computer and think a little harder. =]

    Three: Personalities-

We sit here and post "what separates a person from the next" posts and quite frankly, I could care less. It's not about how people are different, it's about how we can learn to deal with each others' differences. I'm from the United States. I get a lot of shit because the first thing out of some peoples' mouths is, "Your country is a pile of rubbish." I get sickened by that. It's as Saddam Hussein even said it himself. "I am not against the American People themselves, but the American Government itself." His point is, he knows we're individuals here, we make different choices. Our entire country does not suck because of the 1000 people running this country. I could say the same about England with Blair, etc. My personality is pretty laid back, reserved and quite so the "guy in the corner" who sees a lot of bad in this world through analysis. I look for a lot of negative things because I enjoy it, but only in reality =].

Learn to respect and accept the way foreigners speak. Our accents are different, our communication styles differ. This psy scene is in no way limited to your place of existence. So get over yourself! =]

    Four: Mars-

You think he's a dick? What? Why? He pays for the bandwidth here. He owns the server that he also pays for. From an IS perspective, he is: Owner, Operator, SysOp (System Operator), Network Admin, Senior Network Admin, and politely, YOUR GOD @ PSYNEWS! Some people seem to be disrespectful of his authority. He's giving this as a resource, not a playground. It was used as a resource many years ago. I've lurked in the shadows since this site emerged. I've enjoyed it. I've bought a bunch of music based on reviews here. I also avoided buying music because of Psynews. Use it as a tool, a resource. Mars obviously doesn't want to pay for something that's being used as a child's playground. I for one would not and would had pulled the plug ages ago. He deserves credit, props and much due respect since he's continuing with Psynews and perhaps dealing with our potent behavior unrelated to this site.

End: A Beginning to an End-

So, I hope we all can play well. And share! And be delightful of each others' company and perspectives. And enjoy the music scene together and not from afar. =]

    The End!

    Aaron

  16. Indeed. Yesterday I was thinking about internet psy communities... and I really didn't want to go to isratrance  <_< I don't know about the others so I didn't know what I will be doing

but this is actually like home for me :)

    390019

Thank goodness for my local psy community (chilluminati.org) unfortunately they're all into the new stuff which I don't like at all (ugh!)

Anyways, Mars, you're a brave soul for going for this task again. What the hell, you have the domain and what good would it be registered and no site built on it? And thank you for ridding this place of those "let's post 300 posts a day because we're cool like that" users. It's amazing at how many people who frequent this site really don't have lives. The only thing they know of psy is what they've read on here perhaps? =]

    Aaron

  17. If we have more votes cut anyone sent etnica an e-mail that they see the truth that not much people like fullon? But i think it´s useless because they will continue to produce fullon.

    385637

well, maybe if everyone banded together, maybe bush wouldn't be in office?! yeah -- right!

as psytrance begins to have political awareness, UH-HUH!

they produce what they want to do =] get it? got it! GOOD!
