1. Some clarification on question 4 (not that we are really being picky but...) We want to know when and where was the first "PAR-2" event was, not the first Jikkenteki event.

    Rennis,

That was fun! Now, you'll have to let us know the secrets to the founding name of PAR2 =]. I thought my answer was fun(ny). Haha! I laugh at my own jokes :-/

Anyways, thanks for having this. This rules. :-D

  2. and Phutureprimitive.

    That's it.

    397731

Funny, cause I found this cd for 2.95 at my local used cd shop. I didn't have a clue as to who it was, then I got in my car, popped it in the CD player and fell in love. I judged the CD by it's cover after flipping through 8-10k CDs :-D That day, I walked out with Astralasia Something Somewhere *UGH, WHAT HAPPENED?!?!* Phutureprimitive subconscious, and some other one i don't remember cause it sucked just as much as astralasia (i just remember them cause i have all their previous works on vinyl :-/)

Anyways, I haven't listened to much else what people are mentioning :-D I just wanted to vouch with Cinos about Phutureprimitive.

  3. I haven't even had time to investigate... I was going to guess for Peter Huber but somone's already posted an update to discogs (pending) mentioning that. Post here once you know, ok? =)

shit this reminds me I have to mail Peter as well...

    402671

Yeah, I just mailed Peter, that's who I was guessing. HEH! Too bad he doesn't have much left over :-D ukiro! He's such a delightful guy to discuss with. Oh! I see our buddy draeke has it covered I suppose. I didn't even bother to look at the "updates" but instead jumped to wondering if it were "Peter Huber" because of P. Huber :-D on the back of the CD. Then knowing Trigger and High Society. Man, he sure has had an impact in the German scene.

Anyways, glad to see you're still alive ukiro. I read your blogs recently, something about leaving a bag behind while out and about at some music/record gathering thing, and how nobody said anything, or something...haha, it was pretty funny. You realize the disgust in humanity, somewhat :-D

  4. Prosect: Use the same address as in the contest to get ahold of me.

CD - So far we have 2 winners from Psy-News. Several more copies are still available. (note: we aren't too terribly strict on how correct the answers are  :P )

So the bank robbers walk into par-2 productions, they say hey we're just here to smoke a cigarette. jikkenteki looks at the bank robbers and says HERE, HAVE ALL OF THE MONEY!

Man, I'll be sure to go to that bank more often :-D i'll partake in this tomorrow. I've been on a music hunt all day, Mr. Ren. :-/ talk to me on aim beotch!

  5. Okay, so I got to thinking today who was the person who ran Pyramyd records?

There's a CD release called Electronic Dance Experience Volume 1 (the one and only volume that I know of). Astral Projection's "Another World" original track was released under this label on a 12" and on this CD (I have this CD, it's actually pretty fun listening to :))

My question is: Who founded this label? I think I have an idea and I'm going to e-mail him. But maybe I can find out sooner? :-D Any ideas anybody?

  6. Posting on an internet forum you should be aware of the fact that somebody can see what you're trying to do and may do something to prevent it. Yeah I know it's much easier to do it here than in a real life, but that only should make you more careful :)

    402552

Maybe I should jump in here and say this: do your research. see who TJM is in prior for trade/sell threads. see that he isn't here intending to fuck someone over easily. there's nothing to prevent. he made a trade, either you take him up on it or you don't instead of busting in and being an asshole. he's one of the long time users of these forums, but like all the good people, move on because of numbskulls like yourself.

you've contributed nothing to his for trade request, you're quite offtopic and a true asshole at that. =] enjoy!

    -crazymothafuggind, tjm's og =]]]]

  7. Yeah, and I want my goddamn money back! That is one defective soul!

    402229

Wow guys. That's awesome. Deathposture, that rocks regarding Accidental Occidentalism. Sorry about FP's soul. Perhaps you could get a refund for it?!?

TJM, Hax! I find that hilarious. Of course, I know you could care less about the "collecting" value, you just want the music, and it's apparent with your trading :-D. I wish I had the will to be like that, I'd save a lot of money eventually.

Anyways, everyone keep it up. I'll post some uber rare finds later as I come across them.

    Regards,

  8. Yes, I found SFX - Rainbirds for 1 euro once.

    401440

I remember reading that. Haha, I wish I could. I was too late along time ago for the 7euro deal that was going on on another forum for rainbirds. I did get electronic dance experience vol 1 for 1 dollar though, which has sfx's another world. :-D but that's it.

  9. So, a few days ago, I was browsing the internet, searching for rarities. I came across D5 - Transdimensional. The posting I had made awhile ago, they were sold out @ 40 bucks each and many people had complained about that source anyways on isratrance apparently.

Anyways, so I find it. They wanted 7USD for it, plus 2.5USD shipping. I was like, wow! I called them to verify but it was too late. They had shipped it. They couldn't tell me the label the CD was from just to be sure.

Well, today I got it. It arrived and inserts are in Minty fresh new condition, and the CD itself is in near mint condition with minor spotting, and a very very tiny unnoticable scratch. Don't lose hope. Trading's fun, but it's even more fun finding a rare CD for an uberly cheap price. :-D I just ripped it to MP3 for my listening pleasure. So now, I can store the CD (I'm just a collector, that's all, mainly vinyl, til recent introduction to CDs, heh!)

Hope isn't lost for those SUPER bargains. Niobium scored Hypnorhythm EP by Transwave for less than 5USD recently. So :-D They're out there, and don't lose hope.

The "hole in the wall" record stores have them :)

  10. I've got a copy of Unknown Quantity CD available.

It's the first CD released by the legendary (and freakin' hard to find) Helix records, a home of Deviant Electronics and his superb Trance style before he started experimenting with Breakbeat and got picked up by Blue Room. People who own his first Brainwashing is Child's Play album know what I'm talking about. The CD is long out of print released in November 1996.

  11. Wow, I've never been to a forum where everyone seemed to be married? This is awesome. Can I get a piece? =]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

Anyways, hoping I can get a piece of this psynews ass, I want to contribute:

I have no true opinion on full on today other than metamorphisis techno, as with dark psy i refer to as "dark metamorphisis techno."

I've heard it all at one party, in the United States. I however prefer to stay with the oldskool sound. It's preference and if you hate my oldskool because I hate your full-on, kiss off :-D

Otherwise, I love you all! *HUGS AND KISSES*

HEHE! And a hohoho, merry x-mas. Geeze, I hope my girlfriend acquired some kickass CDs for me. :-D:-D:-D

  12. amilia

which could be amalia or emilia!

    of which amelie is french!

Now which one of it could it be?  I'm unsure.  He posted the french spelling correctly (amelie), but amalia and amilia aren't as emilia isn't french either.  So, hmmm... Even your clue makes it harder :-D

edit: i wish my lil one would sleep, being here @ 6:20am kind of sucks :-/ hehe. sleep, mmmm, it sounds delightful and i miss the 6+hrs i used to get, now down to 3-4 hrs a night :-/ sleeeeeeeep malick, come on, please. heheh!! *grin*

  15. That's not nice.

I had very good offers in this very forum, so you're wrong. People are willing to pay a lot here too. The only reason why it is such a bad idea to ask for a high price in this forum are comments like the one you just posted.

    398976

Yeah, well, a guy on ebay was unsatisfied with the CDs he was selling, including strange vibrations sealed only reaching a certain amount that he offered to sell me all the CDs he had listed on eBay PLUS SFX - Rainbirds for a certain price range. Now, I am begging my Girlfriend to buy the entire lot for me since I just began collecting CDs :-D. I put vinyl on hold! *grin*

Anyways, BEST OF LUCK to anyone and everyone who sets a price. People do get what they ask for, some of the time. That's why I prefer trading over money! :-D

    Aaron

  16. After almost bailing out of the deal (me) after psynews went down, he happened to had placed a bid on the CD we were supposed to trade on eBay, and I asked if he would still like to go through with the trade and he nodded to the idea so we did! This being my first international trade was most excellent and the CD arrived wonderful and as described, with two minor scratches :-D but he got the same! *laugh*

Anyways, thank you TK, and perhaps someday in the future we'll meet again in the mailbox.

    Regards,

  17. I know track 1, 5 and 6 for shure...but i really can´t remember the names or the artists. I will check my old cd´s and see if i can find it.

  18. I don't know off hand but I really like #1 and I know I don't have that on cd or vinyl, mmmm..... Hope someone can identify these for you or at least some of them! Now I'm curious! :-/
