1. I praise the past. I praise the parties where the old goa tunes survive. Now, I don't know, I don't listen to the new stuff. I have no idea nor have I ever TRIED, so I can't say I hate it,I just never gave it an ear to listen :)

  2. Astral Projection died after Trust In Trance (3) was released on TIP Records.

Therefore, who cares? They're dead and I don't give a rats ass how big they become or how commercial. They suck, end of story. The past is just that, the past. :)

  3. Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? (I'll never begin to understand why?! Bizarre and fun!)

Sandman - Witchcraft (Dark, weird, and my lil' boy loves it, it kicks ass!)

Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite (Mars and Feel the Universe make this album a hot one for me!)

GMS - Chaos Laboratory (Ahhh shieeot, it's crazy, wacky, and I love the style)

The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences (I've always loved it, track 7, Flying, made me in love with this entire piece)

Influx -Unique (Most badass album, highly recommended! It's sweet and smooth when swallowed!)

Biosphere - Patashnik (Soundscapes can be relaxing)

Ott - Hallucinogen In Dub (What Hallucinogen should had started out as...Unf!)

Pennywise - Unknown Road (I like west coast punk, and yeah, this was my love for music prior to the psy/dub/ambient addiction I had 2 years later (this album ~12 years old! Now I have it on Vinyl :-) for old times sake (only non-psy/ambient album I have on vinyl! *laughs*))

Anyways, there! I know there's a bunch of others as I have a ton, but the stuff I listen to over and over again...is this list thus far! :-)

  4. I was sad to see that twisted go for only 10 bucks grrr..  somehow I couldn't get onto the page at the time - I'd have paid 40$ or more :(

Yeah, I wasn't understanding it myself, but it didn't bother me. It was my second copy of it on there. The first copy went for $54usd, so I was kind of covered. It was listed properly too. I placed the listings around the net too but I guess nobody cared for that one :-)

Anyways, whoever got it...got a pretty decent deal on it. I had these posted on here awhile back for trades, and everyone who offered cash never got back to me so I had to list em on ebay especially after my car got flooded! eek!

  5. Proof that individuality exists:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=4784376763

    Someone got it for cheap!

    Same item, same seller:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ADME:L:AAQ:US:1

    Different price, much different!

It comes in all forms from all countries!

Let's see, those two were americans! Let's see what it went for with a non-american who is an avid collector of psytrance records, too! Hmmm!

Wow, look at that, Canada! High education standards, really awesome people, and a very quiet not-so-involved in world political affairs country! I guess if more people like this guy from Canada continues to spend money like this on dance collectables, it's in our best judgement to assume all Canadians are stupid! (But again, they have some of the highest education standards I've ever come across and I don't understand why NASA doesn't have more Canadians involved in their space program)

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=4756945680

Okay, I get it now! You're right. So, once one person in a group associated with a specific country buy's an album at an uberly high price, the rest of the country must be automatically assumed to being stupid! Or "dumb." Whichever you prefer. I am trying to follow your logic. You use eBay, which obviously came from the USA, so you're using STUPID peoples' ideas to support your own "brilliant" scheme. Right, and that's why eBay's CEO is still much more financially well off than you'll ever be. Figure out your "dissertations" before typing stupid oh wise one!

Tis all, I think my point is more valid here in this post!

Aaron (I'm bored, moving away from this thread now, and no thanks to the sword idea!)

  6. you're right.

i saw the grateful dead in london in 1990 when i was 14. i bought my first "goa" CD in 1995, went to my first psytrance party in london in 1996, and started out reviewing goa/psytrance in in 2000. is this not psychedelic enough for you?

    no?

i have sold "original UK pressings" of shpongle, and "original israeli pressings" of infected mushroom albums, on ebay, for gloriously inflated prices, to americans.

I also sold a copy of Sasha & Digweed's Rennaisance on ebay for something like £30. Again, to an American. I'd picked up the CD in question at my local oxfam for a fiver.

Most recently, I sold the last Shpongle CD purchased for eight quid at the albums launch party in Bristol.  I stuck it on ebay, with the ticket stub from the party, and sold it for £20. This paid for my night out and my transport home.

None of my mates said I would find anyone stupid enough to buy the CD plus the ticket. I did find someone stupid enough -- and yes it was some cnut from America.

Your assertion that nobody except you has been exposed to psytrance for as long as you has firmly roots you as the type of cocky, shitty, barely-tolerated American that the world has come to hate. We don't hate you for who you are as people, we hate you for your universally cocksure opinions and utter - UTTER - lack of education.

And I am speaking as somebody who has spent a significant amount of time in SF and the west coast.

I sincerely look forward to selling you my "original UK pressings" of the original shpongle albums to finance my purchase of the box set.

Did i mention they have different barcodes?

EDIT: this may be considered offensive, but you're the one who mentioned "your mother's womb".

    Good. Fucking. Call.

EDIT2: You also mentioned i should choke until I die. Well done for having a go at me when all I was *really* doing was poking FUN at your country's obsession with "collectable" dance music.

It beggars belief that you would react like this: my worst fears are confirmed, that your country's despicable UNITED WE STAND rhetoric has become so a priori as to come out of one who evidently considers himself enlightened.

    371622

First off, if you're going to generalize the whole american populous, you better stand getting a mouthful of shit from someone who's on these forums from N. America.

Secondly, I don't give a rats ass as to who hates America. It's just land. We live very separately here. We're not a "United We Stand" nation, that's truthfully rhetoric as you state.

Thirdly, I'm not your average cultist hippie who listens to psytrance or recreational drug user. I'm very musically inclined and I know what my tastes like and you're "stereotypical" comment I sure didn't.

I don't think the United States is any worse at "collectable" dance music than anywhere else. In fact, the largest collections seem to be overseas. I'll also state, it seems everytime I go after a "collectable" item, someone, not from the United States, goes after it and thus goes really high. I will admit, there are morons considering someone on ebay just went after the japanese orange comp from nippon crown and got it for $118 dollars, but no thanks to another FOREIGNER who helped bid it up that high. So fuck you again, it's not just we "STUPID AMERICANS." I'm not worried about one or two items. You pretty much just made a comment directed to Americans as a whole. Be more specific next time you smelly hippie fuck (i hate hippies). And I don't give a shit how "elite" you are -- I wasn't being cocky, just honest!

You presented yourself in an asinine manner, you got ridiculed. So, as I said before, go crawl back into her womb and drink away. I'm glad I respect "groups of people."

My attack is personal, it's on you and you asked for it.

Oh, people can hate the whole US of fucking A, but I'll tell you one thing, we're not pussies now that you want to get political. There's a ghetto hood in every town. We're brought up with a lot of various rough lifestyles. We might have a horrible education system, we might have a horrible political system, we might have one of the shittiest countries in the whole world, but I'll tell you what, a black, white, red and even blue man would knock you down, just as an American (who gives a shit what color or creed you are or where you're from) would when you attack an entire group. Your stupidity breeds ignorance.

    Learn individuality, fucknuts. "Be Enlightened!"

*Sprinkles sugar on your face* There, maybe you'll be enlightened! teehee. Just remember, we all bleed red, and if you don't, you shouldn't be walking this planet anyways. =]

Aaron (the n. american land lover who cant stand these fucking stereotypical bastards!)

btw, I'm not normally pissy! But this guy knows everything because he runs "psyreviews!" oh fear! i'll stick to psyreviews on tribe where foreigners and americans are all welcome =] don't want to support someone who dislikes americans but sells them shit anyways! yeah, ya fuckin fool!

  7. Its like saying:

"Personally I dont REALLY like psytrance, but its cool to be a hippie".

    371264

All hippies should die! On another note, that's a pretty pathetic comparison to his post about not liking anything this year.

In any case, I got the new shpongle album this year. That's it for what I've acquired for this new year! HEHE!

    It's almost over, bye bye!

    Aaron (the hippie hater!)

P.S. I don't know how it is overseas, but here in the United States, it's a popular conception that all psytrance lovers are hippies. Everyone seems to "become a hippie" when they're on the in at psytrance parties. I however, retain my ghetto urban thug look, and I shower every day, *laughs* But I still love the people :-D

    P.S.S. BLAH!

  8. And to stay on topic... =]

I have all four albums on vinyl (remix including), I have one CD (Tales of the Inexpressible), I think I might get it because I lack the CD collection. Who knows, I'd much rather have another piece of art in the living room. So, probably not. And yes, I agree...Very commercial. Tales of the Inexpressible blew them up just as twisted's second release for hallucinogen. Funny, The Infinity Project never went big :)

    Aaron

  9. i plan to buy the boxset, then sell the old copies on ebay to people from the USA saying they're the "first, now deleted UK twisted pressing -- check it - it has a different barcode!!!!1111"

    371345

That is a pretty stupid assumption to make. I call bullshit on that one. In fact, a lot of the people in the "USA" aren't that retarded. Now, crawl back into your mother's womb and gurgle on some of those liquids til you choke to death, thanks!

    * Note: devious is from the USA, and has probably been into psy much longer than damion has even known its' existence. :-D

    Aaron

  10. yeah I saw that one but didn't bid because the seller would ship to Canada

    for 20 pounds.  And also I didn't wan't to outbid you ;)

    \\niobium

    371513

Odd, he's only charging me 10pounds =] to the united states. I told him what I wanted of the lot which included the Shamen CD's cause I was a huge Shamen fan in my childhood days. :)

On top of that, I am getting dementertainment and psykodisko-selftitled afr for an additional 4pounds! =] So, 14 pounds for the orange comp, the wax mag afr/tip cd, dementertainment, psykodisko, shamen and a couple of the other ones (i asked for them because i had no idea or well, i don't know how to say no? :))

So jeah! it was a neat auction though i had it all on vinyl already. *catching up on CDs cause i know my son will need CDs in the future and vinyls will just be there in frames haha!*

Thanks too Niobium for not bidding :> *throws ya an e-record*

    Aaron

  11. Nice :)

What a cute kid you got there devious!

    btw

Show him some Blue Room vinyls  , maybe he will love to spin those ones :P

    371512

Haha, thanks guys. I figured it'd just be a fun day since mom's at work and dad's home with him. The things parent's do to their children these days ;). Malick will probably end up getting the Blue Room shot tomorrow. I told him I think it's hard doing the Blue Room shot because we're still missing some LPs! He shook his head no aka who cares. Cause he likes the Saafi Brothers - Mystic Cigs album quite a bit. In fact, based off reaction from Malick, his Top 3 artist list:

    1 - Sandman - Witchcraft

    2 - Saafi Brothers - Mystic Cigarettes

3 - The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences

I have no idea what his case is with the "mystic" albums, but Witchcraft had them beat. :-)

I don't know my girlfriend's favorite 3, but I know her top one she's heard thus far from my collection is Dance, Trance & Magic Plants. She loves the energetic tracks on there. :>

It's hard for me to post my favorites. I'm still trying to tune in with the best ear possible. I like a lot of Transwave's stuff. Sandman, Hux Flux, Xenomorph, ugh, my liking list is endless, but that's why I collect it =] cause I'm not picky so I have to have as much of it possible *laughs*

    Well, I think it's time for a cigarette. I'll belurking. :)

    Aaron

  12. I scored today! Tip Orange Comp + Flying Rhino/Tip WAX CD + a bunch of others for a total of $20 dollars. :-) Dementertainment, psyko disko - psyko disko.

Jeah! Anyways, I'm not a huge fan of CDs, but there's always room for them in my collection *giggles*

    Aaron

  13. Haha, he got the records already guys:

OMG!!! AWESOME Seller!!! SECURE packing!!! THX for the slipmats!!!

    Buyer dragonsbane99 ( 307Feedback score is 100 to 499) Oct-29-05 21:01 4780242342

=]]]]]]]] AND EVEN A PAIR OF SLIPMATS. =/

  14. Let me know if you ever decide to sell or trade the Spectral 12"

    :)

    365063

Yo visine! Yeah if I come across another copy I will. You'll have first dibs. I almost have made enough monies to get my car winterized for the snow so I'll be back to trading before you know it *YAY*.

Anyways, I love that record. So, the copy I have has to stay with me :-D But you will get first dibs. jEAH!

    Aaron

  15. A couple more added! =]]]]]] I see everyone in the US is catching on, most winners are from the US and that's neat! *claps* yay!

So, yeah, peep the list, I'm almost done adding stuff. I have a few more to add. All LPs are done now, singles remain to add now. Hallucinogen Twisted and Juno Reactor Beyond The Infinite for grabs (again) sold off one copy of each already! Stizzeal!

    Aaron

  16. Yes they are, I have some CDs for sale which I'll be putting up soon

    360123

Give me a take it all price for all the albums/lps only. I seek out albums to collect, not much for singles as I don't spin. =] I'm in the US so a quote with a shipping price would be wonderful. Thanks

    Aaron

  17. what if your son wont like goa  ?!

    356555

Hahaha, if he does not like it well, I can always make homemade goa tupperware! melt it down and pouroff into a mold and make plastic food containers, how fun! =]

Ukiro, yeah dude, it was worth it. I couldn't had afford going any higher than I did on it so I backed down and let you have it. That's a record for a frame =] which would look nice with the I.F.O. cover next to it in one of those record double frames. Funny, I frame some vinyl, but just for the cover art so... Anyways, Ukiro, your girlfriend is hot too! hahahaha. =]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

Anyways - really, if my son doesn't like goa, which I already assume he might not because he seems to be more in tune with the ambience/soundscapey stuff I play, then I might just have to come here and trade my collection for a lot of LSD when I am on my deathbed (my way out of this world) *laughs*

Time to go pick up my car bright and early *yawns*

    Aaron

  18. I would die for Ukiro's collection. He always tops me on records I want on eBay though like the Pleiadians Alcyone Promo that we had a bidwar with. Then came the Spectral release on subliminal records - I wasn't giving that one to him since he got the promo and the spectral was a lot cheaper too! What'd you pay for that promo, wasn't it like 162 USD?!?@!? plus shipping HEHEHE =]]]]]]]]] Anyways, I admire Ukiro's collection. Believe me, having something to invest in even if it's just plastic (yes, records are plastic and can melt, warp and numerous other things over time) is quite some fun. I collect vinyl not because it's oldskool, but because I know this median isn't going to be around forever.

My son will have "immense pleasure" from owning a phat goa collection someday when he grows up as well as a nice pimped out volkswagen just for him. I do it for my music love, I do it for my son's future of having a medium that no longer MAY exist! =] OH, I SAID IT, RECORDS JUST MIGHT DIE, but I will ALWAYS ENJOY THEM MORE THAN CDs.

I had an invention for a RECO-DISCMAN! With jogging being allowed. You could have your record bag behind you, and this big briefcase RECO-DISCMAN at your side. You could go running! Flip open the record bag, flip through your 40 albums, pull out one of the 3 12"'s from that particular album, and listen to a song or 3 and have it automatically read the other side. They do have a record player out there now that uses lasers to read them which is awesome for some lameass who can afford to drop 2500 dollars on one. =] I don't own any collector records, I own records I listen to! So, it wouldn't fair me anyways.

Music that sits is just music that's wasted! =]]]]]]] I'm done ranting. By the way, I have to say one more thing, way to go on reviving a 3 year old post nearly, fawk sakes. I guess I'll just go google old posts =]]]] to revive them tehe!

    Aaron
