1. Me Too !!!!

    432722

I found a copy today. :-D I have to trade a ton of flying rhino singles for it though, but nonetheless, I'm very happy. It'll match my awakening release poster I have. teehee.

Goodluck and should I eye another copy or copies, I'll contact you both. :)

  2. I have the Law EP.

Written on the vinyl: FABU 005T and The T.I.P. Say "Uphold the dance law"

    429454

Well, that's what I am confused about. I have a flyer that says THE LAW EP, and I'm going to scan it to prove it :-D, it says there are FIVE tracks on it. I know of that one but fabu 016 is the one with five tracks and well, yeah whatever. I don't know, I'm going to scan it in the near future. I'm moving today so my stuff won't be up and available to do so. ugh! :(

    Thanks!

  3. Okay, tip singles and 20USD cash =]

I dunno what you want really. I dont have a ton of CDs available. :( Uh, feeling weird still shrinkwrapped from substance label by the infinity project?

    I don't know :)

    Heh!

  4. True enough.  But it's really important to conduct yourself there with some

basic good judgement.  I really do not like the hoarders.  All of my shit

on Discogs is listed there because I am willing to trade it.  And in fact

I am going to remove the items I don't wish to trade.

A tangible example here is with the release I keep emphasizing:

the Crop Circles - Lunar Civilization CD single.

ATM there are four people who claim to have it on there.  One is private,

one is honest, one I don't know about at all, and the other is completely

unresponsive - DESPITE the fact that there is no indication of an unwillingness

to trade AND the presence of items in the wantlist.  Just really lame.

    Hey niobiMANG!

Once I see a copy, I'll be sure to knock that person out who has possession of it and I'll come hand deliver it to your door. But you'll have to pay me back for my efforts, but the CD of course will be free :)

As for the collectorelitistattitudething, I was a hoarder. I wasn't knowledgable about everything I had. I found a few tracks I listened to over and over and over and over. Never to even had listened to most of my records. Thus why I'm selling them. I've learned a valuable lesson. If you ain't gonna use it, lose it. =] CDs are much more managable and I now know what I'd like to get on CD :D

  5. One of the reasons why I didn't list my collection there  :)

It's nice when someone admires what you acomplished but I don't need my ego stroked.

Of course discogs can be a good resource if you need some info etc. so I still think the site has it's purpose.

    428543

I'm curious visine, what's listed on your virtual-discogs account? ha ha ha, kidding! yeah, i use discogs now for selling off my records. it's also a good resource to use for yourself to keep track of what you want. but some of those wantlists, 300,900,1000,4300!! come on people, shit. i don't think i even have time available to be that greedy. i collected records more so in a materialistic way, yes. i didn't even listen to a lot of them. and now i'm parting them to get cd's that i enjoy, ;) i'm trying to be selective, but almost all ambient/loungey chill music, i highly enjoy!

i wanted to be a label collector, but now i'm more so becoming an artist collector. if i hear something by someone i like, i'll check them out more thoroughly and buy more of their stuff. now, if something's uberly rare and i have no idea of what it sounds like and i can get a good deal on it, we all know this is common, i'll JUMP THE GUN!@# Just like everyone else, regardless of materialism or not. if we hate it, we could trade up later :) to someone else who really wants it.

I WILL ADMIT! I do want to finish my TIP label collection completely, CD and vinyl! It's just a promise I made to my lil' guy for his future to stare at and be like "wow, my daddy collected some stupid cheesy music, what garbage" :) but whatever, I loved TIP and they've (the infinity project) inspired me the most in the psy world. So, alas, I will fulfill it in my TIP materialistic ways! :-D

  6. everytime i see PA anywhere, I think PRO AUDIO.

I figure for the most part, the gear at a party or event is PRO AUDIO, so adding live to it makes me think WOW, MAYBE THEY'RE WORKING THE "PRO AUDIO... GEAR" AND NOT JUST PLAYING CDs!

But I'm funny like that and Pro Audio Gear is FUN! =] SO PA for me is PRO AUDIO mother fruckers! Jeah, that's right, I have my own IDEA of it too!

    teehee

    This thread is funny :)

  7. I had burning up on vinyl, promo release. instrumental and the vocal edit. i'll tell you what, i liked it for the first 5 listens then i never pulled it out on the shelf. i paid 3 dollars for it unknowingly. Turned around a year later and popped it off for $45 bucks so I was quite happy.

I'll tell you, as radi made a comment earlier, my phone ringer sounds better. =] Astral Projection moved me away from this trance, them and Juno Reactor, actually. So when I heard this and found it to be AP I was ... scared! haha. But whatever, there was history behind this track.

Anyways, never heard axis, don't care to. Don't care to hear another astral projection track EVER AGAIN. Like posford, i've grown bored with it all! Even though, I admit, it was quite good. There's other stuff, duh!

  8. I don't know, if you know that is supposed to be the track for sure, then update it on discogs :)

I want to run this issue by with Ukiro first before jumping into any conclusions because he says he has fabu 016 on discogs, and he's missing fabu 005, so, i kind of want to double check what he has and let him see the "release" sheet i received with the record stating that fabu 016 is indeed, the law ep and not infonet. Har! :-(

    Aaron

  9. Yo, Ukiro!

I have something to call bluff on in the discogs database. The LAW E.P. is actually Fabu 016 (not The Infonet EP)

If you want, I can scan the actual release paper. I guess I didn't get the super rare FAB 005 like I thought I was getting, but instead, on discogs, there's a huge mixup on the releases. I don't know, you care to look though? I'm confused :-D as to why someone would say the law ep is 005 and infonet is 016, instead of the law ep being 016 and infonet ?!?!? and whatever the hell cat # 005 is, who knows. Let me know, I'd like you to see it.

    Aaron

  10. To bad you're selling all the items with PayPal...I don't have it...but I want to buy al lot of your old skool cd's...

    greetz...

    421419

There's three CDs listed :-P. I'd take cash. I don't know where you are from, but currency conversions cost too much here. Where I live anyways in the United States. I'd be accepting of mailed money as people from Germany do it for me when I say "oops, I didn't look closely enough, I assumed you did paypal" and they're like teehee just mail cash and I'm like "okay." :)

So yeah, if you're into records...Feel free. Remember, they're not all CDs. Mostly vinyl!

    Aaron

  11. Okay, many people are asking prior to me listing records on ebay what's for sale. So, I've removed my cd collection from discogs, and am readding just the LPs that I have that'll be listed on eBay soon. So if you're interested in ANY of these, feel free to contact me and be sure to include an offering price. All messages will be ignored if you ask me how much I want for an item! These will be disappearing from the list as they go up on eBay over the next few weeks.

    http://www.discogs.com/user/psyshaman

Also, I am getting rid of a ton of 12"'s/eps, so please don't ask yet. I want to get rid of as many of the albums as possible first. :-) But stay tuned. I will update in the future.

    Thanks!

    Aaron Gelner

P.S. I know I keep plugging it, but for what's not listed on discogs will be listed here:

P.S.S. Hope this finally addresses many questions :-P

  12. It DOES make sense, though. But I have a hard time fighting off the hardcore collectorism myself. I'm not one... but I might become one sooner or later.  :(

The temptation of the matter is too much!

    421296

Taika-kim, I agree. I see through some of your points and it's very well worded. I mean, I'm not 100% agreeable to your statements, but there are many points that make sense. I, being a father and not having very much money to "spread to the world's disasters", am very reluctant on sharing my "wealth" or what I have left of it. I'm actually now an @home dad, so money is a little tighter as my girlfriend takes care of everything (her choice, not mine, but i ilked the idea of being with my son 24/7 :) or at least most of the time, i do get a day off here and there to go out with the buds).

Anyways, if you're more than willing to donate 5kGPB, feel free man. Heehee! I'd rather put a nice down payment on a house at that rate. I'm not a hippy and I prefer the urban-lifestyle vs. the "forest" love. *grin* But about consumerism in general, it is agreed, but that's what our entire society reflects upon and I don't see it going anywhere else, not for a very long time, if ever. If money was eradicated, we'd be bartering, a form of consumerism.

    Aaron

  13. I just don't want it anymore.

Alternatively, I could trade it for a number of new CDs at Psyshop... the question is, how many? 3 or 4 perhaps?

    420915

I think you ruined the rainbirds cd @ psynews cinos :(. it's a cd for only the hardcore astral projection fan/collector. after seeing how much you go on about it, i'm almost hesitant to accept the package of rainbirds when it arrives and may just return to sender. =[=[=[[[ I hope my copy comes with a certified cinos stamp on the inserts :)

I'd say you could probably get 2-3 releases, yeah. 4 would be...a little outside of the realm. anywhere between 30-40 dollars, IMO!

    Aaron

  14. the main thing that i am talking about that its pitty that all those release are not available freely [anymore] and thats why i said that people should dload everything they cant get for reasonable price for their listening ;)

so your comment about "If you can't accept that, I guess you're either 8 years old or have some form of intellectual handicap." is irrelevant here and looks little bit too much in this subject, too heated.

    420875

You're just mad because he's right and has money and you wish you had his collection. I sense jealousy! Well, maybe you should had began collecting when our friend ukiro did =] and spent the money instead on music that you were saving to buy that new 4 million dollar mansion with, teehee. Anyways, I still think you're lazy and jobless and if you want the oldskool "sound" back in your life that bad, go get people to make new releases with it, or even yourself. Oh wait, I bet you're too broke to afford any software too. I bet you DOWNLOAD it too! teeeeheeeee. Erm, I better watch out, UNIX baby! :> I guess I cheat there too. FreeBSD!

Now, hey, here's an application, and here's another sheet of paper for the contact of every artist that you've downloaded. Now ask them their opinion :-/

    Aaron

  15. My guess is that given say 50 of each disk, the Crop Circles would saturate

the market much faster.  But in the short term it would fetch a higher price

that Accidental Occidentalism.  Eventually the smallish Crop Circles cult

would be exhausted, and the demand for AO would at that point supercede

    the latter.

    420705

Stop being so smart! It's destroying my braincells. :(

    Aaron

  16. yes, but i am talking about music, music for majority of this scene ;)!

and lets face the truth - it is IMPOSSIBLE for everyone to put their hands on cds/lps.

as long as demand is bigger than offer it is normal to download, in fact its only possible/acceptable way for lots of people, because not everyone can afford to spend day/monts/years tracing down their copies and then spen hundreds or even thousands of euros for their music records, and even if we all would be equall in our incomes the problem of rarity is still there. and as we know demand also isnt so big to make labels reprint/re-release all sought after records.
