1. And perhaps your Dimension 5 cd, hmmmm? ;)

    385837

I looked at the Mystical Experiences CD. It's not in good condition. It plays, but it is horribly scratched! It's been ages since I've taken the CD out of the jewel case so I forgot about them =/

Throw me an offer for DTMP: Otherworld. The CD has a Dimension 5 track on it :> the vinyl version doesn't however, :-/

  2. you should try listening to it once cinos =]]]]]]]]

i see you lost the yellow and blue, tai.  maybe gurutrance is going to strike again! *laugh*

And you lost the orange. :-P well, not officially but someone outbid you. Anyways, the TIP orange I have going has 2 minor scratches which do not affect play. The inserts are in perfect condition and the picture side of the disc is excellent and clean. So, PM me later. I have to go get my engagement ring resized so I'll be back later.

Okay! So here is a compilation of what I am currently seeking to get rid of in my CD collection. I will trade for records in good condition or take cash or even CDs I want. I have more to add to the list but this is for starters.

I spend more time in this forum than anywhere else it seems. I think I am confused. :)

These prices do not include shipping!

  4. I'll be glad to trade my original for TIP Orange!

It's in really good condition, some visible small scratches, but it plays 100% and, well, you won't find a 10 year old album in better condition than this unless it's still in wraps :)

Let's just wait until tomorrow, I have a bid on Orange on Ebay...

    385632

I'm so down if that's the case =]]]]

*crosses fingers and hopes you lose*

    :-P

  5. Cryptic Crunch too, from a collector's standpoint is far less common and

    hard to find.

visine does know what's up. look at how many people own ifo on discogs, even though it really doesn't mean much, but that's a lot,a lot like the mass produced house records ownership, it's high! everyone and their mom has a copy and i think the only nuts are those who don't have a copy willing to shell out that much, even though i watched someone score a minty fresh copy recently for $10 bucks roughly, that was the worth to me :)

I however, recently scored Cryptic Crunch on vinyl for $12.00 in almost mint condition. I've seen it go between 30-45 otherwise. I got mine from a posted for sale list on a DJ's personal website and he wasn't asking ridiculous prices, just looking to make cash and get rid of some things. :)

Should I begin trading my CDs for vinyl? I don't have a ton of CDs and prefer to keep my lounge/chillout/downtemp/ambient on CDs while keeping my psy/goa on vinyl! Don't ask. Then again, I think I could make a lot of money off the CDs and buy more vinyl! That's why I am confused. ARGH!

    Aaron (the CD/Vinyl confused!)

  6. Congratulations, not only did you lose an all-time classic but also at least 45 pounds.  :P

    385083

See, that I do not care for. I received it in a trade and it wasn't even what I wanted in a trade, it just happened to be in there. I listened to it and I disliked it and my friend liked it and being that was moretheless a "gift" I handed it over to a buddy. I'd rather give away music than try and profit off it -- only if he/she's a really good friend. Unfortunately, I don't know many people who like this genre of music who have been close enough friends for me to freely distribute what i don't care for. =]

Anyways! If you've read a post before, a CD to me has no more value than $10.00 because I prefer vinyl, but if something comes up that people pay more for then I buy it in hopes to make a trade later on for the same copy but in vinyl along with another title or two!

By the way Cinos.... :) Your posts are funny. How much Hypnorhythm sucks and how it's only worth having to collect then your recent posts on how you really want it back!!! =]]]]] It gave me a chuckle. I hope you have some luck. Everything's getting more and more scarce.

P.S. I even recently cut a space pussy record in half making there one less in the world (it was in mint condition too, and i need another copy, damn women!!)

    =] Aaron

  7. EDIT: Not even the original MOTY and IFO sell for what, 90£. I think you're grossly overrestimating the price of this one. Not even Lu.ci-ana sells for that!

    384524

Luciana has no value whatsoever. It's garbage. It was so garbage like in fact, I gave my copy to a friend who actually enjoyed it. I didn't ask for anything in return. But yeah, maybe not 90gbp, but try 77 as posted above :-P. I don't think visine is overestimating it. I offered people $60 for it everytime I had the chance with someone and always got turned down. Fortunately I've finally found a copy even though I'd prefer the vinyl version :(

    Aaron

  8. No - that can't be true! No-one will pay that amount for it! Not even IFO or Luciana sells for that much!

    384563

Okay, here's the proof. I'm no moron when it comes to doing research on these prices and the fact of the matter is, it did go that high on ebay:

    First the record:

    http://www.popsike.com/php/detaildata.php?itemnr=4007206510

    There's the 29GBP

    Now the CD:

    http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:qzgfl...+5%22+gbp&hl=en

Well, there's a posting on psynews for it @ 77GBP!

I cannot find the actual ebay auction link (it's a stale link but it's in google cache) anywhere. But that's good enough for evidence.

Need not prove anything more and visine is right when he says that's the going rate for it, or at least pretty damn close :)

    Aaron

  9. I'll get back to you within a couple of hours, very busy right now - but in the meantime... Space Pussy and IFO are fine, but Mystery Of The Yeti is as rare as IFO, and despite me desperately wanting Hypnorhythm, I can't trade both of them for it.

How about IFO, Space Pussy and possibly another, less rare CD?

    382796

Nah! I've been wanting Mystery of the Yeti and IFO for awhile. I prefer vinyl but to complete my TIP collection Mystery of the Yeti is a must (since it is only available on CD)

    Goodluck Cinos! =]

  10. That's strange...a few weeks ago I had a deal wil danvapid that I could buy the IFO cd of Pleidians ans now I see that he is selling it like this...strange?!?!

Dear Danvapid...I tried to reach you ceveral times with pm, but you never replied to me...I couldn't pay you because you didn't send me your full name and Swift code...I hope we can still make this deal!

    greetz

    PS

For international transactions I need; your full name, adress, swift code and IBAN...rememeber?

    381175

In response to your post, can't you see he doesn't care? =] he just wants to get rid of all of those CDs, which I don't blame him....if you know what I mean! =]]]]]

  11. and really, the drugs don;t enhance that much, they just fuck you over in the end!

    378252

I being a past-expert in psychedelics *laughs at the expert remark* have to say that it really does enhance the music. I was a huge mushroom fan for many years. I cultivated 12 different strains for personal consumption at one point but I would never do them outside of a safe haven meaning my place or a friend's place. People I'd eat them with would want to run around the streets but I'd never leave. I did a lot of experimentation with a lot of fucked up results (primarily the results came with Salvia). These results were recorded and are etched in the magnetic ribbon for time to remember until the ribbon wears out. =]

Anyways, music is enhanced through the use of mushrooms. I'll vouch for this. I no longer recommend doing them as I'm a family man now and in the states it's a risky violation should you get caught and I'm not about to pass up being a daddy to my lil' one for some silly thing. It is silly! Why? After doing them about ~250 times the fun never ceases to amaze but that's what it is, just fun. You can find fun in doing other things, but who am I to criticize. I certainly recommend at least doing a psychedelic once in the privacy of your own home while listening to music but don't hold me responsible if you're by chance, manic or bipolar or some other illness or wrong state of mind, period. :)

Music should be appreciated though without the alteration of our "consciousness." It should be used to reach the altered states naturally. Shaman's didn't JUST use wild drugs to reach altered states, the beat of a drum was as if being one with the heart would allow them to reach a higher level of consciousness and achieve nirvana.

Music is my drug now! I can say like the journey man, been there done that, what's the point? The music is good and I enjoy good music. I don't need something to make me enjoy it THAT MUCH MORE, because in reality if I like it, I just fucking like it. :) I rant a lot huh? BLAH BLAH.

Basilisk, nah! To each their own. I enjoy diversity but I do wish the styles had stuck around. Unfortunately, minutes change, hours pass, days, weeks, years, generations...Everything is (here's the hippy in me left over) on the universal harmonious balance and it happens because it's just going to happen that way. It's not "God." It's not any diety, it's just the living universe acting out as if Earth was alive as Gaia. Call it "The Bio-Universe." She lives, she breathes, she breeds. Just like Gaia.

I suggest to myself (I like talking to myself) that I be quiet now. That I will do! Enjoy the music, then try a drug and enhance it, but the music is also a drug if you allow it to be! The End!

Aaron (the neverending columnist on drugs and music and .. HIPPY crap!)

  12. Wow! You people bitch a lot. I guess because here in the Midwest region of the US we just started acquiring a real outdoor scene (see www.chilluminati.org, www.goaspirit.com, www.audiognomes.com). I've been into psy since 96 and I've lived in Minnesota all of my life and unfortunately, kind of how these forums are, Minnesotans are turned off by psytrance because of the "association" with drugs.

I am frowned upon on websites like mnvibe.com when mentioning psytrance. There at one point was a little scene here in Minnesota then Jikkenteki moved off to Japan (where he is HOME!) :) So, now that the midwest region is popping up (there's a psytrance party like once a month here whether larger and promoted or a nice lil' backyard bonfire party!) Minnesota is still way- behind. And I still claim rights to the largest psy collection in MN (well, legally bought, somoene has over 100GB of MP3s which makes them cooler than me :( obviously).

So, anyways, what's up with this full on shit everyone's mentioning? I haven't left the 94-99 `era. I am stuck in it, I guess I have a few TIP.world records lying around but to be REAL honest, I've never listened to them. I know what I like, and I'm glued to it :) and to the bum who posted something about music being music...Indeed. A lot of us here like various kinds of music. I like PUNK, PSY, dub, ambient, chillout/downtempo, and some death metal =] and even HARDCORE (without the happy, of course).

We're not stuck or elitists, at least many of us. I know there are some. "I must dress like a hippie, I must act like one, I must do drugs, I must be a very part of the statement of the scene!" The scene is just like any other scene to those who feel that way. Be who you want, dress the way you want. Quit being poser fags and pretending to be neo-60's. Those days are over. If we never wake up, I'll never have that futuristic flying car I've always dreamt of. I'm sick of using horses for transportation! They're too bouncy and they don't have shocks as an option god damnit!
