    Don't really wanna get involved in the drugs and psy argument but I feel the two go hand in hand, so probably just have involved myself. It's difficult to explain but it sounds quite different on psychoactives, clearer, less weird, less hectic, it makes more sense.

    Words are fine when they're sung with meaning and passion by someone with genuine talent. They're able to communicate what music never will.

    The other side of the coin, of course, is that there is no instrument as capable, diverse, beautiful or able to communicate all emotion with such stunning effect as the human voice. At the end of the day whether someone listens to only lyric-based music or only lyric-less music, it's the same thing; they're both missing out.

    You can't really hook people on to music. All you can do, as Exotic hinted at earlier in the thread, is introduce people to music. It if connects it connects, if it doesn't it doesn't.
