  1. What's so great about them? They're not bad of course but I can't understand why so many ppl are crazy about them. They have some wonderful tunes but they overdo with the percussion in some of their tracks and some vocal samples are a bit annoying IMO (Check out Divine Moments Of Truth). So why do you love them? (if you love them)
  2. They kick ass! 100% quality Psy. Just listen their track "The Secret Side".... What else to say? I can't believe some guys don't like them at all. Serious melodies, madness, incredible production.Kick ass I say!!! Agree?
  3. Reunion is one of the best Psy tracks ever made!!!
  4. Those Profile series from Avatar are great! Finally a classic album available in every store again.
  5. I don't want anymore Minimal! Minimal full on,minimal progressive, minimal techno.... I want Maximal Psy!! You know:multi-melodies,build-ups,climaxes,great intros, madness all that together! I give you the perfect example:Christof & DJ Mael-KLM I know Old-School is maximal and I agree 100% so let's talk about 2005 maximal. You know any group fits in this gategory? Here is an example of new but maximal Psy:Twisted System-Mad Method. So,know any more?
  6. I WON'T DANCE-VARIOUS TRACKLIST: 1.Spies-Reminiscence (Merge rmx) 2.Drop Out-Deep 3.Johann & Har-El-Colours 4.Section X-And Now Pilot 5.Eat Static-Lab Rats (Science Of The Gods rmx) 6.Carcharodon-Predamption 7.Joujouka-Don't Think feel!! (Joujouka rmx) 8.Dogma 3000-Victim 9.Kode IV-Fortuna 10.Quark-Quickening Weird compilation compiled by Haris Papadimitriou. I'll be honest...I just bought it because it was an offer. The tracklist looks so weird and I know that some of these artists don't produce Psy anymore, but I gave it a try. First track is from Spies.Never heard anything from Holeg & The Spies before. More downtempo than dance. It has a dark bass and heavy percussion, very simple for me but really atmospheric.Weird track. Next is Magnus from BOTFB with his project Drop Out.Dark bassline anf hard kick with some cool sounds floating,it's hard enough but funky too, especially in the last minutes with some nice beautiful melodies in the backround.Although it's a bit monotonous it's a very good track! Next is aninteresting collaboration betwenn Johann Bley & Har-El Prussky.Dark bass again but I consider it as a morning track.I was expected more from this guys..The melodies are only a few but again an ok track. Section X come next.I loved some of their old tracks but I don't dig their new stuff. Percussive Techno all the way.Fast kick, snares, superfst hi-hats and a horrible sample,it's boooring for me. The legend is next.Lab Rats is a compination of Psy trance with breakbeat and some indian melodies & distorted sounds, kinda like hard 303,but I'm not sure. Sometimes is good but it sounds a bit "cheap" especially with this boring melody repeat itself for some minutes and the bad production, the build up is great though. Carcharodon now are Section X and Xavier Morel. It starts like a typical Sec X track 150bpm+ and furious hi-hats.Then a bassline comes and when you thought it will be something different you realise it's another boom, ppsi, boom, ppsi all the way track. The only thing it changes is that every 20 seconds a new kick,snare,hi-hat,tom or whatever starts. For me it's the most boring track ever listen in my life. Tsuyoshi's Joujouka next, you know them.8O'S electro-funky-house-psy-rock or whatever. Not that bad but this funky guitar ruins the whole track. Victim now is more progressive Psy than something experimental. Some morning tunes but not my cup of tea again. And time for the best track.Kode IV gives us a Psy track (and not Industrial) with a very nice melody.Kinda old-school but a bit simple, this track is very good and it could be even better with more melodic parts. Last track from Quark Ollie Olsen's project.Psy-Harmonics style, dark with some strange melodies.I think it will work better if it has a 4/4 kick than these drums and it didn't has this awful singing parts!! I can't give a final rating cause it's not the kind of style I like, but if you wanna try something different give it a try. Best:1,2,3,9
  7. Super Skunk is the artist. Not only his tracks are breakbeat Psy but he has some
  8. I agree that becomes a bit boring after a while but at least it's underground. I have bored all the commercial Full On and Progressive and listening something hard enough to consider it as underground it's something good for me. Underground ain't a bad word.Good Goa/Psy was always underground BTW Penta is Russian? I thought he was an American with Russian name
  9. I'll tell you tracks... Indoor-Camel Oforia-The Morning Song Filteria-Galactic Rays SFX-Butterfly Trip California Sunshine-The Deeper The Bluer Tandu-Rodeo
  10. Psy for me:Anything intense, extreme, colourful, insane and wicked. BTW psychedelic comes from the Greek word psychedelia which originally means Confession Of Soul, although nowdays we use it as a synonyme of Madness etc.
  11. That's right! Get this release for some Dark Psy-BreakBeat stuff! Check out some Super Skunk tracks too
  12. And your track Thalua!!! Is there any compilation where I can find it full and not mixed? I have it from the mixed cd and it's only 5 minutes maybe less And BTW Michael, I'm your No1 fan in the world!

    V/A - Killers Inc.

VARIOUS-KILLERS INC. 3D Vision 2004 TRACKLIST: 1.Absolum-Take Off 140 2.Theoreme-RAM 143 3.CPU-Natural Born Killer 145 4.Azax Syndrom-Replica 146 5.Inneraction-Incorporated 146 6.Flexable-Synthetic Rhythm 145 7.Sirius Isness-Dirty Drugs 147 8.Mekkanikka-Kahoona Burger 145 9.Puzzle-Get Some Visions 145 New compilation from the best Hard Full On label IMO. The well known 3D artists Absolum & CPU together with big names of Full On and some new groups like Puzzle. The compilation starts with Christof himself. When I first saw that Take Off is only 140 bpm I thought that he wants to try something different but I was wrong. This is 100% Absolum style but a bit slower. I love his style.Full On but aggressive and not cheesy at all. SUPERB bassline one more time and madness all the way, this is not the best Absolum track but it’s great for sure. Theoreme from Japan comes next. After his super-track Wagama in the Sound Syndicate comp, I was waiting for new stuff.RAM starts really hard and the first minutes builds like a Techno track with an interesting percussion. In the midle of the track we have the big explosion and the track goes insane! A simple but powerful melody and the well known Full On farts, this track will kill everyone in the dancefloor. (Although, I enjoy it at home also) CPU…My favorite Full On act.I love almost everything from this guy since his debut album and his new track couldn’t be wrong. All the noises and the metallic sounds of his style are present with his original sick bassline and the distorted melodies. To be honest I was expecting to be even harder, after all this is a Natural Born Killer track but that’s ok….Still an amazing tune. Track 4 by Azax Syndrom.I liked his old Dark style a lot but it was getting a bit boring, after all it was more noisy stuff with no melodies. But his new style…Just love it! Every new Azax track is for me the real meaning of the word “Full On”.Hard, fast, aggressive with killer melodies.Yes, it has melodies, more melodies than most of the Astrix-cheese masters-clones.Ok, it’s not old-school but at least you enjoy some nice tunes together with the power. It’s not Shinjitzu but it’s simply GREAT! Best track here! The rest of the tracks are in the well known full on style but thank God it’s a 3D Vision compilation so the groups here have tried to make more aggressive tracks than the usual. Inneraction’s track it’s a compination of the typical Israeli Full on with the harder 3D Vision style.Nice track but not something great. The same with Flexable.Although one guy of the group is CPU himself, it’s more typical Full on-ish than Cpu insanity. But still good. Sirius Isness is one of the groupd that produces quality Full On IMO.You can’t find it out from this track.Full on again but some cool melodies and much power to make you dance like crazy. One of the best tunes of this release. Kahoona Burger.Except the awful samples this track is ok but too typical for me.Typical bass, typical sounds, typical melodies.Slighty harder but not something never listen before. Get Some Visions by going 3D! Last track from Puzzle. Some nice melodies and very good production but the bassline is again so typical. So,the first 4 tracks are great in the 3D Vision style we all know.Aggressive Full On.The last 5 are more typical Full On but Ok especially Sirius Isness. It’s not Sound Syndicate but it’s good.8/10 Best:1,2(!),3,4(!!!),7
  14. V/A-WILD SPIRITS STRONG MEDICINE AfroGalactic 2004 TRACKLIST: 1.Frozen Ghost-Fool Moon 146 2.The Slug-Eat Out 145 3.Brethren-Allende 145 4.Damage-Bad-Ass 145 5.Shift-Electroid 145 6.Tickets-Cash 146 7.Broken Toy-Absolutely 144 8.Zigganaut-For Real 145 9.Damage-Who’s Your Daddy 142 New Hard Full On compilation from the South African label AfroGalactic. The compilation starts with a new name:Frozen Ghost.Strange sample in the intro just before the heavy bass & the phat kick crush your brain. Some funny & funky tunes in the middle and the last minute of the track, more Techno stuff but very good. The Slug next, one of the most famous SA artists.Typical S.African style here.Killer bassline and metalic sounds and some very good melodies especially in the last minute. Not extremely hard but very good though! Brethren are next.Who are they? Phyx & Tickets together with the super–track of this compilation. The song opens with a fairytale melody before the super bass starts.Definetely one of the best basslines ever heard.Fat kick, fat snare, fat melodies.Power to the max.More like this!!! Time for some damage. They’re here with the well known brutal techno style.Kinda Skazi style, you know more Chemical Crew’s simple, raw power but enough psychedelic and distorted.Very good track, maybe one their best espacially for the Hard Techno lovers. No comment for Shift.Everybody knows him.Electroid is in his same Shift style but with a lot of surprising melodies reminds me some Old School Full On of the 1999-2000 period.Funky but serious stuff->quality Full On for sure. Cash from Tickets. This guy is awesome.I love everything from his stuff.Typical South African Maximal Psy.No lazy beats,no minimalistic percussion, 7 minutes of power and enough melodic parts.Great track again. Absolutely is a perfect example of a quality Morning Full On.No cheesy melodies,no boring basslines.Stars like a typical SA track but you will listen some morning tunes.Morning Psy in a South African way! Zigganaut…New name I guess but the track is very good.Again phat stuff, I miss the melodies here but it’s hard enough for me.Just like the first track more techno style but still good. Ok, and this release ends with Damage again.Except the awful sample [Who’s your daddy now bitch…] the track is really good.Dirty techno all the way and simpler than Bad-Ass but Ok track for sure. It’s SA compilation so it can be bad, some great tracks and some good ones.Recommended! 8/10 Best:1,3(!!),4,5,6
  15. KINDZADZA-WAVES FROM OUTER SPACE Parvati 2004 TRACKLIST: 1.Dasty Ho 146 2.Wild Tales 146 3.Beta Galaxy 147 4.Sin Tron 148 5.Nature Grow 147 6.Furiya Kruchiya 145 7.Mars Bless U 149 8.Romantik Moments 149 9.Lotaz Dream 149 Debut album from Lev Greshilov, No1 Russian freak around. First track is Dasty Ho and it’s the perfect example to describe the album title.Imagine a lonely planet somewhere in this enormous place called Universe. The darkness, the loneliness, the cold and the unknown, and try to describe all that with sounds.Dasty Ho is exactly that. Most people will listen just another hard Russian tune with lot of noises, farts and heavy bass. But it works great for me. The best way to enjoy this unique track is during an open-air festival while dancing and watching the dark sky. Very good! Wild Tales now is more noise than emotions. Typical Russian bassline with some distorted riffs and insanity to the max.Only for Russian Psy lovers. It’s a cool track but not something great. Beta Galaxy is even harder with a super heavy bass bleeding both ears and mind and some liquid sounds reminds me sometimes Neuromotor but in an harder way.Good. Sin Tron now.Time for some emotions again. This is a horror track. All you have to do is to listen the melodies here. There are so f*cking scary.Brrrr! Difficult to describe it though. Not scary in a Xenomorph way.You know like a horror movie nor in a Dark Soho–gothic style. This is “Horror From Outer Space”! Nature Grow:Simper track this one.Still heavy, the kick is so hard..Noise again but not something different. The same with Furiya Kruchiya. The kick is so hard again and the bass so mean. The well known KinDzaDza sounds are here but still not something unique IMO. Warning! Mars Bless U can damage your brain and soul! Raw power here, maybe the harder track of the album.Too f*cking hard and crazy not much to say. Noise, insanity and boom, boom all the way. But it’s cool! Romantik Moments is in the same style. Some strange melodies in this track. There are beautiful but the madness of the noise and the bassline make this track a killer and not a romantic track. Put this in a date with your girlfriend and believe me, you’re not gonna see her again! Last track is different. Some 80’s videogame sounds here and a cool melody.Kinda funny track but not less hard.Actually this is one of the hardest tracks. NOISE,POWER and INSANITY. These are the 3 key-words for this album. The melodies are rare and I’m a big melody fan but when I want to listen just raw, powerful Psy I put this cd in my Hi-Fi Only for Russian-Dark-Psy lovers 7.5/10 Best tracks:1,3,4(!),7,8,9

    Cat meowing

Mmm, doesn't sound like SUN Project or Ka-Sol I but I'll give it a try. Thanks!
  17. I don't believe it! I was looking for their first albums and Yes!!! They're re-released!!! Great!!!!
  18. You forgot ManmMadeMan-Drama Seraph! In my top 5 tracks ever!
  19. For me Seb has gone.... His last two albums were awful
  20. They have some great tracks and some bad tracks. Cyclotron was IMO super boring and minimal all the way. Best tracks are surely Dark City and This Is The End!
  21. Yep, that's it AmithabaBuddha! So, Do you know the tracks? I'm sure you're gonna love his style!
  22. Yesterday I decided to give a listen to some of my old cds. One of them was Goa Trance 4cd from Rumour. Two of the tracks were made by an artist called The Shining Path (real name Greg Ulds I think) Anyway I listened them again and I think that they are both excellent! The tracks are Exit The Vipers Pit and Abraxis (licenced by Glow) I highly recommended these 2 tracks to all the Old School lovers cause they're GREAT! Hypnotizin old-school Goa, not hard or insane but simply beautiful! Find them & enjoy!!!
  23. I have most of the tracks but I want to say a big Bravo to YSE label. Some super classics in this 2cd comp.
  24. Couldn't agree more! Full On clones suck, Progressive clone suck, Minimal clone suck!
