This album is ridiculously good. Circles Of Motion, Sky Trees(!), Das Bungalow(!!!), Patterns, Breeze are breathtaking. The rest are top notch too. 10/10 easily (def one of the best ambient/dtempo albums I own)

Possibly a stupid question but...

Yep I can't hear a difference tbh -
Does the quality of an audio file is affected by importing/exporting the file many times? (Without change anything of course). For example: I import a wav file in cubase. Then I export it again replacing the old file. Then I import it again, then export it, then import, then export etc. Will the final wav have the same quality as the original as long I haven't changed anything (volume, eq etc.)?

Here's really good, although a bit too cheesy sometimes. The first half of Macroscopic View is totally awesome.

Paul W.S. Anderson will only write the script.

@ the 1 track review I have the cd and is pretty good. Really wacko music. The tracks have a forest feeling, but to be honest it feels more like a fairytale feeling. Recommended compilation for those who're looking an alternative darkpsy cd.

I got mine from a local store. Man this two versions situation is turning into a mess

Not a great film, but really atmospheric and enough creepy. Definitely the best videogame adaptation. I'll give it a 7/10

I doubt there will be a third AvP after the low sales of AvP: Requiem. But I'd like to see a third Predator. BTW Predator - 10/10 Predator 2 - 7.5/10

I liked that too, but tbh it doesn't feel like an Alien movie. No horror, no suspense, no action, all you get is some first person Alien shots at the end. About Aliens I only have two complains (and the only reason I don't give it a straight 10). Firstly, although it's pure action film it would work better with more horror. There's no real horror IMO, just suspense. The second (and most important) is that the aliens were too expendable in the movie. Very easy to be killed. In the briefing sequence Ripley informed the marines how badass the xenomorph is, but in the movie all the aliens are killed so easily. And yes the marines had super arsenal, but there are shots when aliens are killed by two bullets! IMO it would work better with fewer, but more die hard aliens. Still a classic though. But I don't think nothing comes close to the first one. Pure alien horror! I think I'm gonna buy the Quadrilogy.

That's my copy too. AFAIK there's two versions. The one we have and the Japanese one that Lemmi posted.

Recent ratings Die Welle - Very good movie about fascism, but it could be even more convincing with some extra hour. 7.5/10 The Punisher: War Zone - Way better than what I was expecting and actually really loyal to the comic. 6.5/10 Monsters Inc. - For the second time. Pure Pixar awesomeness. 9/10 Fanboys - Comedy about some Star Wars fans. Didn't like it all and I am a Star Wars fan (not a fanboy though). 3.5/10 Chocolate - Thai martial arts movie from the director/choreographer of Ong-Bak and Protector. Horrible plot, great fights, but not at Tony Jaa level. 6.5/10 Eagle Eye - Pure Hollywood action flick. Way too unrealistic, but entertaining. 7/10 Mirrors - Nice idea, but mediocre movie. Not really scary and Kiefer Sutherland is bad casting. 5/10 Napoleon Dynamite - For second time. Wtf comedy, much funnier when you rewatch it. 8/10 I also watched again all the Aliens. Alien - One of the true cinema masterpieces. 10/10 Aliens - Not as great as the original, but one of the best example of serious sci-fi action movie. 8.5/10 Alien 3 - Mediocre, rushed movie. A huge dissapointment, although it has an interesting nihilistic feeling 6/10 Alien: Resurrection - Bizarre, almost surreal sequel, with great casting and effects. From Jean-Pierre Jeunet the director of Amelie, City Of Lost Children and Delicatessen. 7.5/10

Everything by Hammer and Amicus. True Goth! For anime Vampire Hunter D.

IMO eveyone who use the word Psytrance means the whole scene, not just the dance music. The same with other genres like IDM.
-
IMO Goa-This includes all styles of Goa (Old School, New School, Nitzho etc.) Full On-This includes all styles of Full On (Poppy, Israeli, SA, Dark, Hard etc.) Progressive-This includes Tectrance too since IMO most of them sound Proggy in my ears. Also minimal, trancey, housey psy etc. Darkpsy-This includes Forest, Russian style, Psycore, Horror etc. Experimental-Suomi, Australian, genres fusion, weird stuff Ambient/Downtempo-From beatless ambient to Shpongle and just plain Psytrance-For everything else, like MEEO for example or the old IM.

What is the most used software for making psy?
Ormion replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
I use Cubase simply because this is the program I know and I don't have the energy to shift to something else and learn everything from the start. I'm not a pro, but I believe that once you learn your program and get comfortable with it you can make great psy with anything, even if this is FL, Cubase or even Magix Music Maker. -
Very nice movie. Very entertaining. Not 2012 feeling at all in it though.

New or used? From where? I want it!
