  1. Yes, you're probably right. Their charts are suspicious, so is their "cd of the week", but it was the only charts i knew until yesterday. I don't agree with that. For the last two years I've been following the evolution of psyshop's chart and I assure you that it was dominated by full-on until recently. But then again, I don't how much credibility it has. I've just discovered saikosounds'top ten and it seems that full-on is still the most popular there. Most of us buy their cd from psyhop I think, but few of us live in Germany. Also Saikosounds is located in Japon and I doubt they do most of their sales there.
  2. Taken from one of those fullon thread Do everyone agree with that ? If yes, then what makes you thinks so ? Is it because of the music played in parties or because of label's sales or maybe it's just a feeling you have? I'm not saying that you're wrong but when I see that I have some doubts.
  3. I could give full album names but as you want "COUPLE of tracks and nothing else", just check out those 3 : - Optokoppler - Persia - The Misted Muppet - Toward The Castle - Talamasca - Time Simulation the best full-on track ever!!!! Of course you have to listen the samples until the end, because the best part of the the track usually comes in the last two minutes in full-on.
  4. I choosed the first option "all psychedelic trance". But actually, I don't like all the genre, all the time. For exemple, one year ago I couldn't stand the "Darkpsy" genre, but after a few listen to some albums people were recommending here, I changed my mind bout it. So I can't say that I love all the genre, but there's no genre that I don't like.

    Review Requests

If someone could review Positive Alchemists Vol. 1, that would be nice. Review for "Visual Contact- La La Land" by McKoy: 1-generic full-on 2-generic full-on 3- ...... ..... Look there if you don't trust me. Even isratrance people don't like it.
  6. No it wasn't, but I can't say I liked it. Now what about showing us what your more "classic" tracks sound like?
  7. At first, I thought you wanted to compete with NHJOHYENNRO but then I saw you were not really serious with this. Now tell me, you are'nt looking for a label, are you?
  8. Look what you've done Stalker, you upset him and in response he hacked psynews Please stop making fun of him, he might find out what people think about his music and stop posting here. I'm sure you don't want that to happen
  9. This is a little too far from the kind of music I make for me to give you any useful advice. The mastering is almost perfect I think. It managed to surprise me several time : if it was your goal then congratulation, you succeed. The only thing I didn't really liked is the melody that you used all along the track, but it's more a matter of taste. I wish I had as much imagination as you.

  11. I somehow agree with the shaman. The sound quality can be improved, especially the bass. The track is too long : some parts of it are unnecessary. I know how it is : you find some nice melodies and don' want to delete them, but the "4.00 - 6.00" part don't bring much to the track. I also agree with that. Now things that i really liked : the intro and the last tree minutes. One last thing : people always critisize more the tracks they like the most
  12. Yes, that's what the off-toppic should be about. No Or maybe yes. It all depends on what you mean by "talk shit". If it's childish humour or discussion about life's routine then yes, it happens to everyone I think. And I don't see why those rules prevent you from doing that if you're respectful towards others. I you read Devious'post again, you should agree that those rules are necessary. I'm sure they'll come back once they realize how much they miss "their" forum.
  13. I'm glad psynews is back. Thinking that it was gone forever, I realised how much i liked this forum and its members. I think i'll post more often from now on To people who are leaving the forum : we all respect your choice but please wait before coming here to say "bye bye psynews, i found a better forum" because there are still important decision to be made (plus that could influence some people still unsure about what to do).
  14. It could be intersting to compare the results with the previous "best progressive act" poll. At that time, Jaia had just released his album and got almost half of the votes. If Ticon wins this time, that could show how quickly people change their mind IMO (but I'm not saying they don't deserve to win). And I voted Human Blue.
  15. The album has 3 excellent tracks : Syncopations, Simonal, Karmatic. The other 6 are ..... well ...... just read dmtree's description. This may not be the worst album of 2005, but probably one of the most disapointing.
  16. I said eurotrance, but I don't really know what it means, so maybe it was n ot the appropriate word. I just wanted him to know that he shouldn't waste his time with psytrance labels. It didn't mean that I don't like his style, in fact i like it VERY much
  17. I've got nothing more to say than what others said before, except that you could use different instrument for your melodies, I think you've used only one from begenning to end
  18. No psytrance label will be interested since you're not really making psytrance : to me, it sounds more like "eurotrance" (it doesn't mean that I don't like it)
  19. Well, i won't make fun of him because I remember my first tracks were even worse than that.
  20. Good track but I think there's a little lack of originality. Also there are some production problems : the hats are to loud while mid-frequencies sounds are too low. I liked the melody that start at 5min45 but not the one that starts at 2min30. Overall, I think there are things that you can improve.
  21. Hi NHJOHYENNRO. Yes this is me, the Real McKoy. My label and I wanted wanted to release your album, but I'm really disapointed by the fact that you believe that 2 unlimited make better music than me . So don't count on us anymore.
  22. "The Plateaux of Mirror" with Harold Budd : this is my favorite album from Brian Eno.
  23. or even better : keep this kind of humour for the freestyle forum
  24. I think the most important thing right now is to start the contest : if you look at the previous pages, you'll see that there's already been a debate few months ago, but nothing happened because nobody took initiatives. Let's start the contest before people's enthusiasm fade away just like it did before. For that, we simply need rules and a place for the artists to upload their music. You'll have time to think about the rest, as it will probably take weeks before the contest ends. So we don't need to rush things.
