  1. If someone makes one I'll put it up Next to a brazilian flag, of course
  2. So so far we're 30+ haha thanks to Psychocell's massive invasion!
  3. Sweet.. great crowd.. The greatest people I've met so far were from UK/Australia/NZ and us brazilians hehe You're to help the image of South Africa Party up, bro!
  4. That's freken great Where's everyone all from? Any hot birds? haha
  5. I had an issue with time also, but talked to my boss and all is fine. I have 3 days off haha It's gonna be a hell of a trip... leaving Rio de Janeiro on Thursday afternoon, arriving in Rome Friday morning, heading to Sonica and back Monday to Lisbon and Lisbon/Rio Tuesday morning. Wednesday... dead @ work.. tired and thinking "what a shitty life. Why don't I give up my promising future and work at some restaurant and live just fine and having fun.. " but no.. haha we want MORE! Traaaaaaaaaaance!
  6. I'm going to Sonica 2005, the first italian outdoor festival and I'd like to know who else from here is gonna be there. I'm probably going by myself , but for sure having some people to party with would be fun. So, who's all coming along? My MSN = rafaelabreu@hotmail.com
  7. I emailed them and they said it will only be availble @ the festival. The timetable that is.
  8. Well, in Brazil we speak portuguese, but the rest of the continet Spanish all the way Problem in South America for sure are wages. YES! You can get a job here, but to get a decent wage.. that would be enough to pay your bills/food/housing + get you to travel around could be hard. I know a few people involved/rave producers. That could get you to work with them, maybe, but still, the money ain't great, but on the other hand South America is very, very cheap. Especially compared to US/Europe/UK. Think about it. Travelling is always incredible. In case you want, rafaelabreu@hotmail.com is my MSN contact, but time zones could make it hard for you to see me online. LaterZ
  9. Isratrance doesn't load here at work. Can you guys do that? Wicked
  10. I really want to know the time tables for Sonica... Anyone?
  11. PS: For parties in general I wouldn't recommend Brazil even though we have kick-ass parties in São Paulo all the time with killer line ups (full-on, progressive, chill out and others). The scene here is still young and you shall find more "roots" festivals. And the infra-structure in Europe I heard is a bit better. Advice? GO SOMEWHERE.. For the whole experience
  12. hahah Trance is for sure a great experience. If you wanna have a nice trip (as in travelling, not high-tripping) come to Brazil. There's gonna be a kick ass festival in July (called Trancendence) with good line up and amazing spot.. You really will enjoy it. But then, there's the rest of Brazil you can visit, with great spots, nice people, etc. This year I am planning on going to Sonica 2005 in Italy. There are many websites with information regarding each festival and here you should find company to some of them around the world. Anything you choose, party responsibly and very, very hard Norotik Boom!
  13. I like the album. Clear sound quality - Good to get a full-on crowd moving. I must say I consider the crowd-effect the most important when criticizing a track. A song without listeners is shit no matter how good of a production it is or how much technique is involved in making it. So... 4. "Techno Widows" Very simple way to get people moving. I give a high grade for this track. Demonstrate's Avi's power to make his fans wait minutes to listen to his "The fuck is going on?" line and lay the distorted guitar and bring in the solid-simple bass line back in the track. Parties in general need such things. I've seen him put 4000+ people to stomp with this track. 8. "Sex Style" I can't think of this song without remembering Solaris Festival in São Paulo during 2005's Carnaval. Great morning it was. Avi had his live the day before. And opened his set with this track. The crowd was all calm and anxious. Then arms up and people moving gently. I really like - and the house producers I know did as well - the electronic fx starting at 2min 50 sec. It's like trying to create a 'robot's voice'. When this effect is over comes a solid melody, not childish, not too grumpy. I don't like the pad much. Sweep comes in with high smooth notes that become more metallic, anxiety build up, melody formation and boom. You have your crowd smiling, arms up, enjoying the landscape and just dancing. Word. 9. "Beyond The Senses" Good track. Smooth. Different from most Astrix's tracks. I like the sweep + pad around the 4min 15sec and when it starts speeding up. When it gets faster there's a childish melody but when it's over there's nice synth work, cut offs and all. Sounds amazing in a huge system with the powerful kick. For those who like to close their eyes and just tap their feet and fingers. Favourites: 4, 8, 9 Rating: 8/10
  14. Did you read what I posted about his website content and matching dates with VooV? It's an option But I'd stick with Astrix.
  15. AUhAUhauAHAU Lança Pergume You liked that, eh? You "heard the ambulance siren" come pick you up? I wanna go to UP, but the heat kind of freaks me out even though I'm from Brazil. I hate excessive heat, especially to sleep.
  16. Yeah.. 90 pounds on a pair of headphones to jog is for sure a great investment hahaha
  17. Time table? 11 days @ same spot.. could be too much. And I got little time.
  18. Can some of you talk my boss into letting me out of the office for 3 weeks?
  19. Force has been with me since I was born Lucky bitch I am! ahaha See you at Sonica. I can't just miss the first psytrance festival in Italy, can I? I've made my mind. Sonica 2005 Italo-Brazilian Kick Ass Shout Jump Scream Norótic Style!
  20. Problem is TIME TIME TIME... freaking job! But Sonica. I decided that if I have few days only, Sonica (and perhaps Atmosphere 29Jul-01Aug Switzerland) is the one I'll be rocking at. Any more opinions?
  21. Esperança - High Fall. It's rookie music. He has produced better tracks.
  22. I wanna go. But the future to time belongs
  23. I'm trying to decide which festival to go to and after going to Astrix's Hommega's website gigs part I noticed he'll be playing in Germany on the 23rd of July. There's a description to EVERY single event he'll be performing at, but for this one especially... it's empty. Only the date and country. I Know VooV Experience never let the line-up to be known ahead... but hey... VooV is from 22-24 of July. In Germany. I don't think Astrix has performed there, at least not recently. You guys wanna speculate about this? That would FOR SURE be a very nice surprise. Comments on this?
  24. I'm trying to decide.. someone please HELP! haha What would you guys pick? Fullmoon + VooV + Atmosphere or Atmosphere + Sonica I can't go to all 4 (time + money) and I shall come all the way from Rio de Janeiro/Brazil for these I'm looking for nice people, beer, lots of talks, solid basslines. Line ups are great either way. Do you guys got experience on any of these? Thanks
  25. Alek, what is your choice this summer? Just speak up. I'm reading it all, not just the poll. Thanks.
