Exit Eternity by...?

For me, this album is like Astral's Dancing Galaxy. What do I mean by that? New Kind of World is MFG's best album. If you don't own anything by these guys, buy this one first, then move on to other things. First of all, this is not Astral, but yes it's definitely from the same general area (literally and figuratively speaking). It's melodic, uplifiting, complex, powerful, and oh so good. Favorite tracks: We Are the Machines, Born Into a New Life, Peaceful Relaxation, Experience, and When We Dream. This is awesome.

Overload! What a track. This CD is classic. It has a few wicked tracks and many standout moments but also some weak ones. The whole CD has got that classic melodic goa-trance sound. I don't think it's as Astral copy (like some have said or implied). However, it does have a similar effect on the listener. It's in the Astral genre, no doubt. If you only get one MFG CD, get New Kind of World. If you get two or more, get this one too

The more I listen to Global Warming, the better it gets.

Astral files is still easy to get.

I was thinking along those lines bugbread. How live can you really get with some of this complex very fast music we listen to? I bet many times a group gets paid to play without seeing the flyers or having any idea how they are being billed. They might show up with unreleased mixes and new songs on dat and mix some sounds/samples over top real-time. Does that mean they are actually playing every sound for you live to recreate the track the way a 5 member rock band would? Of course not, but it's certainly a different (not better, just different) type of performance than you get out of a DJ mixing various artists tracks together. In that sense, I would think such a thing would be cool, especially if you like the group's music. Unfortunately, I never get to so see such a thing because of where I live. Those of you who live in Europe, or New York, or LA (just for example), I consider you very lucky to be able to go and see/hear such events.

People seem to really look for ways to ride AP. That's the price of success I suppose. It's almost trendy to downrate their music and scoff at their live sets. Whether they are live or not I don't know because I have never had the chance to see them. I can say this, if I did get the chance I would check it out for sure.

I believe, but I could be wrong about this, that the Nazi's also changed the orientation of it. Like they put it on an angle with the points going the opposite direction. Is that true?

Maybe they should have a naming contest as well?

For so long I have looked or hoped for something...almost like this. Think of the possibilities. Take all the talking out. Take all the propoganda out. What are you left with? Good music, the music we all love, awesome visuals, all on DVD so you can hook it up to your TV and get CD quality sound going on at the same time. Holy fu cking sh it! Who needs a message? Who needs a story?

I'll take substance over (frustratingly slow) flash and dash any day. I always like the simple mellow look of this site. A relaxing blue floating in space with friendly green buttons that light up when you touch them. I come here for the content not to be blown away by a display of cutting edge webpage design. My 2 cents...

I can't get into this at all which surprised me because I was impressed by their other album Breathing Space. Alive on the other hand is hard to listen to. It's full of screachy squealy nintendo style ear-splitting sounds layered at break neck pace over what would otherwise be an allright song. I've listened to it a few times now and nothing really stands out. To be fair this may appeal to those of you who like harsher sounds in music. None the less, I can not recommend this to anyone. Get a copy of Breathing Space instead.

Hey guys (who made this), if you read this, VERY NICE WORK! I ordered "A Live" and got this instead. I'm keeping it. What a cool CD. Tracks 1-5 are upbeat groovy trippy (driving trance) music. Just how I like it. Puts a smile on my face : ) In fact, today I was walkin down to the local pub with this blasting on the headphones and a huge smile on my face. This other guy walks by and looks at me like I'm nuts. I laughed so hard. Anyway...the last three tracks are..."ambient." The undwinding mind: starts off mellow and winds up sounding drum & bassie (very nice). Jot bodom: is downtempo groovy with a cool vibrating sound that floats in the background, with a (non-cheese) melody in the foreground...NICE. Hartley's ambient jam: starts of dubby and winds up truely ambient with dreamy sounds floating around. I find myself wondering why I haven't heard more about this album before now. My review doesn't touch on the exact nature of tracks 1-5, but rest assured. They are solid. Give this a go.

There isn't a bad track on this CD. I was so happy to get the Jaia track. Many well known tracks here with the overall album sound being classic melodic goa. You really can't miss with this one.

Club trance?? I don't think so folks. Definitely different than the regular Sandman style, which is a good thing in my books (he, he, here come the flames). Deep with many nice sounds and...oh no...god forbid...some melody. Yes, that's right. At times, this CD sounds musical. The horror.

By bringing this up here, I think you just gave those rumors more play than they ever would have got otherwise. I think Elysium was onto something. Let people talk. What can you do about it? If you know you're not a bad guy, then what have they got on you? The people who really matter will either know the truth or have an open mind about you till they can decide for themselves. If you are too defensive, it only encourages @!#$ talkers. It can be hard though to hear @!#$ and just say @!#$ it. Take care.
