well thats exactly the problem, the promoters where mixing apples and bananas and my guess is two kind of crowds went expecting different things. and all the organizers could see is hey big names = money...

son kite, minilogue and skazi on the same party isn't that strange? anyway... any good progressive lover would have done the same and taken the skazi crap just to see those two but man one has to think what where the promoters thinking? ps: so did they ALL suck? i didn't quite get it

what i like about this scene is the fact that until now people do not treat the artists like they are rock stars, we don't have girls in the side-lines screaming like someone had twisted their nipples with a wrench everytime they see someone important, and producers in general are hummble and straighforward people. let's the keep the scene like that and not give artist more puff than they deserve... some people seem bent on kissing the ground this guy walks on and spreading petal roses... is all cool, we all know how important his contribution was... he is still just a regular guy (cranky sunday, im sorry if went offtopic)

i know thus my weak answer... but to try to answer your question a little better... night-time psy trance is more focused on the groove not the actual melodies, is a bit more 'mindless' kind of affair... to simply go and dance... day time or (brunchtime ) is more focused on melodies... whenever i hear the term i think more like... electro sun for some reason (probably word association) but yes you are right there is no clearly divisory line between them both... and half time im not sure what goes where...

psy trance you listen to at night... and not during the day...

well.. i did get my cd's after all no big problemos there, but one of the cases came broke, which is a minor bummer... im not blaming them, but other places use a lot more bubble wrap and i've never gotten a broken case before... then again a lot of labels seem to be changing from plastic to carton... oh well..
