hell yeah... not sure if it's my favourite as i haven't heard in a while but it was one of the first psy trance songs i heard. back then it was all trance, hard house, etc and man did it blow me away i was never the same after that non psy... hmmm anything by yani haha.. no prob Miles Davies - so what or flamenco sketeches yes i know is cliche
-
hey well at least we'd have a decent hot dog stand
-
comparing the girls to guys ratio on psynews that sounds like pretty dim sight to me
-
what about stuff like neo-full on? i mean is that even a valid term... Double R.E.L or REV ? you can hear the full on strucutre on the bass line and what not, but is not really the same is it? am i just being anal and making up new terms here?
-
well i guess besides having more work on your shoulders, 5 slots should be enough to group all this subcategories... it is only 2005 after all
-
that would be really cool! don't mean to create more work... but wouln't it be more interesting if people submitted say 5 acts from different sub-categories... like progressive and hmm.. dark... or forest or whatever is called this week wouln't mind helping out a bit with the project as im unployed again this month and alternatively i would be willing to host it too...

What music are you listening to right now?

Bacuzzi - Sunday's child Hi Fidelity Dub Sessions Vol. 3 (Guidance Recordings) very suiting in page 101 listen and learn -
the main difference is the crowd IMO... especially in the small scene in squat parties around the UK and whatnot. which to be hoenst is my only sampler of this music. if it was a squat about DnB it was more about rude boys (no wait there's another name.. but can't remember) wearing their adidas and whatnot looking rough, like they're ready to nick your wallet the minute you are not looking. I didn't find it nearly as friendly... as trance parties which weren't many to be honest... so more often than not for a period we would end up chilling in the DnB room... as for the music or the setting or anything else... well.. i really can't remember
-
well that would be a good reason normally not to, but they did have this sale not too long ago so i took my chances, im sure it will be fine, i was just a little perplexed to find out the stuff i had ordered from saiko sounds on the same day got here before (last week) than trance shop... ... /bitching-rant-mode off
-
i think i just peed my pants just hearing you describe it
-
you know it... in the beach too, so bring your swiming suits and trunks
-
yeah i think it was psysale and not trance shop cause... the cds were on sale anyway... i wrote to the info email the provided today again, going to wait for an answer, if they reply in thext day or so i will write to that one you have provided thanks
-
I ordered a couple of cd's around... twenty-something days and i still haven't receeived anything, i have emailed them about the order and they don't answer... has anybody had problems before with these people? or even ordered? as i'm starting to get a bit worried about their lack of attention towards customers, easily rivaling if -not exceeding the dreaded psyshop costumer service, (which coincidentally i have no big complians for) im listening
-
i don't know what to think about this one, is not bad per se... but it looks like a screen-shot from some audio magazine
-

Did you get to hear ? V/A - Complexity by Cold Groove http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/col/col1cd002.html - i just ordered metalogic from psyshop i couldn't resist

hope it hits the right nail with you stalker @seraph: you're right mate i liked that compilation a lot, totally slipped my mind... the thing is (and this IMO of course) good minimal does not equal austere production techniques... you can have multilayered minimal, with melodies and a lot groove going on but that point the focus is on the groove having progressive touches without heading to typical housy infleunces... thats good minimal in my opinion... and i guess good minimal - like good anything- is hard to produce and hard to find...
