Schlab 009 will be PINK! We got a few real nice melodic tracks for that one. We will try to make it cheesy, but it will end up as driving trance anyway. So yeah, something like 002, maybe even softer.

Uh, I dont know. We we´re working on something like a 3rd album, but dropped it and picked it up again and dropped it, never seriously got started and yada yada yada. The good news though is that some of the tracks that were supposed to be on an eventual 3rd album is on this compilation instead, and they are the best of the tracks we´ve made recently. Hope that makes up for it. It would however be fun to get a 3rd album out. Hm. Bring us new experiences, new influences, drugs that dont kill us and with no side effects (...) and a lot of money and we´ll come up with something.

Ok kids, you have waited and waited and now its here! Schlab 007, purple, physical straight on night music, proper full-on. The way full-on used to be and should be. You´ll probably think its dark and scary and fucked up, and OK maybe a little, but not a lot. Its dance music, but of course its probably good to trip to. Not that anybody here does it. I think this is the best compilation so far, which doesnt mean a little. The buddhas tracks for instance are all included in the sets we play live and they really work on the dancefloor. I would mention the word "killers" if it wasnt worn out already... I love the Fucked up track and Hellraiser and the 2 last are a bit noisy, but truly nght music. Huh? Right. On a good system you wont hear the hissing from the vinyl! So you still have the better soundquality from the vinyl... Of course CDs sounds good (but not as good) on a good system, and probably better than vinyl on a bad system if the pressing and the record player is bad, but the point here is that you can hear the difference in sound quality between CD and vinyl (which you can probably not hear in a club, but rather at home). Since Im a professional I can hear the difference even between CD and DAT, and dont even mention "high" bitrate mp3s... Anyway, on a good system where you can listen carefully Im sure anyone will notice the difference between a CD and a vinyl record. And I still prefer vinyl. And if you dont agree, you probably havent heard a good pressing on a good system.

I agree, CD is crap compared to vinyl, even though it depends on the pressing... Vinyl doesnt have any limitations you see, no 16 bit 44.1kHz restrictions. Its even possible to tell the difference between CD and DAT. And dont even mention mp3. Hmm, this is interesting, I guess I should take a look in the attic where my vinyls are. Of course they should be sold, I do believe it is possible to record them onto another format first, if the music managed to stand the test of time that is...

Christ, Schlab 2 isnt even hard. Its morning music. Schlab 3 is what you´d call hard music. Buy it, dont download it...

SHANGO! SHANGO!! SHANGO!!! I said it before and I say it again, its possibly one of the best night tracks ever, definitely on my top 3. It kicks so much ass its incredible, and its funky and groovy too and has that really ripping sound that makes my spine crawl and it starts an itch that can only be cured by dancing, flying, screaming!!! This compilation is a classic, it contains what psytrance was all about back in the days when psytrance was psychedelic (!), interesting, innovative, wonderful, magic, entrancing, mindboggling, sexy, disgusting, amazing, trippy, fun, disturbing, chaotic, beautiful, cool, for real, not for real, well it was about everything and nothing in spiral forever and beyond. This cant be compared to the stuff released today, its such a groundbreaker, hell its like the moonlanding compared to flying to Crete on a chartered flight. Massive respect to Psy-Harmonics and their artists.

Oh, it gets an A out of 10.

Shango is possibly the best night track ever made.
