  1. I haven't bought any 2006 releases... saw a few live acts this summer though, and i've been disappointed by Deedrah. Silicon Sound was a surprise, he did half full om, half progressive, so he made us all curious.
  2. Well, I don't know who and why, but I'm gonna move it to Music Promotion. I suppose that's where you posted it initially, right? It's fine. Topic moved.
  3. A local rock band (famous here) called "Cargo". It was in a club, we hung out at the bar, with the rockers from the ol'times. It was allright. I'd like to see Dj Tiesto next week, but it's in Bucharest (300km away) and it friday evening. Not enough time. Last weekend there was Paul Van Dyk in Bucharest, it was a big success. Tiesto was also a big success last time he came here (few weeks ago). Shows are hosted in a big hall, like basketball big arena or so.
  4. I totally aggree with Basilisk. If i were a progressive house / electro / techno etc DJ, i'd definitely buy from Beatport. I don't think that these music genres get released under albums, like psy & prog do. So if vynil is useless to a dj that spins with CDs, then i guess Beatport is the solution. Many DJs invest a lot in their "geer and career" if they wanna stay "in top", so i wonder what they think about the prices. Beatport is definitely an alternative on the market.
  5. I haven't bought any CDs in months now. I'd love to, but CDs are not a priority now. I owe money, beh. Usually when i buy CDs, i do it from "savings". I used to buy 2-4 CD's per month. Now, nothing. Not for long though!
  6. I only seemed to like Shulman from all their offers. I didn't rush into buying it yet. Also because i'm pretty much broke.
  7. In every party there is good music and bad music. Shiva doesn't stop them all. There's no Shiva in this story. The fact that police came at that time, was just a matter of "timing"
  8. I buy from psyshop. Once i ordered from trance-shop. Both were satisfying. I find psyshop more convenient for me.
  9. Good then, tell me what you think of it in a couple of days...
  10. Well, check out his website: http://krumelur.trance.net/ I think he's hosting the whole album or very long samples there, like 6 minutes each.
  11. Artist: Krumelur Release Title: Paramoral Label: Zenon Media Format: CD Released: August 2006 Cover: Tracklist: 1. The Plan (Kick It) 2. A Furry Something 3. Swallowed 4. Outdoors (Radio Krasnojarsk) 5. Colossus 6. Understatement 7. Abstract Ramixt 8. The Fattest Worm Catches The Early Bird 9. On A Stroll 10. That Old Organ It's minimal, it's darkish, it's funky, it's playful, it's experimental. I like it. I only listened to it once, and I already decided it's good. Tell me what you think of it! For those who haven't gotten the chance to listen to it (it's quite freshly released), here are samples: at psyshop at saikosounds Discuss.
  12. Hey, wow this album sounds really nice! A mixture between minimal, funky, dark. It's not a "crazy dance" music, but it's very pleasant, it's playful and experimental. I'm sure that whoever likes Sensient will also like Krumelur. (I'm not comparing them though!) Samples and album available: Psyshop Saikosounds Like i said before, Krumelur makes smart music. Good luck Fredrik!
  13. Yes, at Ozora 2006! But then the toilets were kept clean by people, and cleaned by the cleaning staff each morning! They even had toilet paper permanently... i mean i wasn't expecting to find toilet paper all the time, but i did.
  14. Cleaning toilets depends on the weather forecast? kidding Damn, yeah I helped on the parties. But it was also good to be helped! I got big help from a party organizer in Zurich! I felt so bad for needing his help, cause i knew he was very busy with the party. If it weren't for him, I would have had to stay in the parking with my luggage for few hours...
  15. Haha i can almost see you. Ending a live set, people going wild, girls coming to you to ask for autographs, and you tell them: "Sorry, i gotta go clean the toilets now." Edit: i answered "Yes". I didn't earn anything from the festival last year, so i guess that counts for volunteering? Though i think i can do better than cleaning toilets, like maybe contracting various companies (transport, security, sound system and stage, decos, PR, etc) and maybe even hiring people to clean toilets.
  16. Well, since I had to leave Ozora right before Son Kite, to catch my train .. I guess I'll have to settle with downloading this mix.
  17. You guys seem to really want to be on the cover Which is totally sweet! I just hope you're not shy!
  18. Your hair isn't dark. Not to mention your ass... *looks down and shakes head*
