  1. yes, it looks great really your state of mind: seeing "the big picture" of the festival hapenning, you managed to withdraw yourself from the "whole", and saw the event from "above". this way we manage to actually aknowledge what is happening to us, we pay attention to the details of the big picture, we seem to understand better how human nature works, and which is your place in the landscape. babbling, huh?
  2. no, i just know these 2 from the track list, that's all.
  3. poor Colin, bad memory AND sore throat ... get well soon Colin!
  4. surely you didn't notice the "<ahem>" ..
  5. so .. where do i click? i would love to buy it from you. and please let us know how this story ends. whose username did you forget? it'd better not be mine! i can't wait to see what happens next
  6. all in all, i'd be interested in what labels would have to say about the scene too. so i suppose we'll try to do some interviews with labels as well. woohoo
  7. Phobium and Claw are in the tracklist, nice samples?
  8. well, actually the code bar should be enough to get you inside Sonica. it sucks when you have to put up with that kind of attitude, banjankri. so .. the Sonica organisers are actually italians? anyway, hallo, wake up!
  9. i noticed the humour in your post, but still it made me realise that my post could have been interpreted in various ways. just wanted to clear it out.
  10. Hello psygang, As you have expressed your interest towards Mubali in my previous thread, I e-mailed him and he was so nice as to reply my message promptly. I asked him for an interview, and he gladly accepted. Now please post your questions for him, and I will add mine, and get the interview on the roll.

  13. wow, don't get me wrong. i'm talking about who would actually talk openly about their position in "the scene". meaning INSIDE information. that's gotta be uncomfortable for some people! i gave Trishula Records as an example, as i have met one of the owners of the label, and i got to ask him some questions about their activity. He started this because he likes the music they release, and money making was not his priority when he decided to create the label. i DO hope that they're making profit though! they weren't making profit in the beginning, and i would be curious to see how things evolved for them. we all know that some labels are in for the money and going for releasing music to bring profit, and not doing it for pleasure and with taking the risk of loosing money in the process .. ONLY. it's usually those who are in for the profit who are more PRIVATE about the results of their activity. i preffer giving names when putting out a posivite example, and not giving names to put others against the wall. it's not my style. plus i don't really know many label people. so all is up there is my personal humble opinnion.
  14. beh i think a label like Trishula Records would accept such economical/financial questions (just an example). but for some other labels (maybe proggie or full-on ones, dunno?) these ind of questions might create discomfort. tempting, but still, i have to think.
  15. interviews with labels ... those would be a bit weird, because they will contain some economical/financial questions that might be uncomfortable for some. i'd like to have some artists interviews first, as they go slow even. well, this one might happen, as i have just contacted his label yesterday and asked for his contact info. you're the first one who mentions him though.
