  1. Dark definitely. But not really that extreme. Pretty good stuff though.
  2. Awesome. I've got to order from them someday.
  3. I was talking about the rmx. I haven't heard the original either.
  4. So is Atmosphere. Thats going to be a huge chunk of my software budget (though I need it badly...)
  5. Hehe, be careful with white earphones. iPod nickers look for the trademark white 'phones. I've heard that they are really nice earphones. Though people have said that the build quality isn't very good. What's your opinion? 'Cos it'll probably be worth me getting some, they're a steal at under £30.
  6. Fontopia?? http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...8546495-2543017
  7. You couldn't have been more vague. I have many synths, but none are especially good for making pads. And no, it isn't hard tweaking audio with a decent synth. Thanks benf52.
  8. Hi there, I'm looking for a decent pad synth in Audio Unit format. I want a rich sound, and I would also like it to be tweakable so I can make my own presets. If you've got any recommendations, then please recommend them!
  9. Heh, you missed your opportunity for shameless self promotion
  10. It could probably be done with a few sine waves played at the top end of the keyboard, then using a mod envelope / LFO to modulate the pitch upwards and quickly, then adding a bit of reverb to it.
  11. Put simply yes. You need at least 1Ghz processer and 512MB RAM. I have 1.25Ghz processer and 512MB RAM on my Mac Mini - though I 'cheat' and render tracks to disc to free up processing power. But yes the CPU must be adequate in the first place to use external synthesisers etc.
  12. I've always hated commercial RNB with a passion. Seems to me like everyone is jumping on the bandwagon of creating music and they're managing to fill my ears with audio shit everyday. This is why I stopped listening to the radio. So, there's me trying to find music that isn't repetitive, boring and commercialized - I only discovered goa when a friend of mine gave me some Infected Mushroom. And then I fell in love with the trippy synth lines, complex oriental melodies and pounding rhythms of this style of music.
  13. Hmmm... Random is the right word. Work on those scales
