When i downloaded the album there was a 10th track called scilly automatic (bonus track) and i wonder if this is a real bonus track on the cd or just something the ripper threw in?

Some good harmonies but "deep" texts about drugs, with words like "baby" and "yeah" tossed in here and there is not my cup'a'tea. Nobody's i hope. So, this is a collection of synth pop songs with some trance elements, the melodies are often dull, ollie olsen tries to be dave gahan but sings like a pig... this cd without vocals would have been quite good as a 1991 trance cd. I got this cd when i ordered Ancient Future. Is this crap worth any money or anything? Or should i just complain and return it? EDIT: After some listens, i really enjoy some tracks. It's very atmospheric.

Really great and crazy stuff.. Can't believed it was made the same year as... Well pick up any goa album from that year and insert!

¨ 10 000 miles away, yes that's a melody that can bring tears or joy to anybody! And the abduction album by eat static is extremely good, especially forgotten rites (although not very melodic, but very trancey and tribal) and the title track with soo much warmth. Jaia is also a good artist, mai mai may be the best dance song on their first album. The other tracks i haven't heard, maybe some hidden goldies =D Oh, and also i think you're right about goa. Most tracks are just pumping patterns with a few notes.

Yes i have it, some tracks have really original and timeless goa melodies. Well, i guess i should stop looking for this specific melody type in trance.

It's never too late to hear timeless music for the first time...

No you misunderstood me! Or perhaps i did. What i wanted to point out was that it's sad that we forgot the true meaning of the word. Now it's more a way to describe a sound. I don't consider goa as more psychedelic by default but wanted to protect frontier when he said antix was the best. Because music can be psychedelic without having the charachteristic blurrps of modern psy. Im obviously to tired to even think clearly so i say goodbye. Goodbye =9

Psychedelic = Mind Expanding. Not bleepy-blurrpy. In the beginning psychedelic trance was about hypnotizing you. Now it sounds like elctronic trash metal. Ok i sound like a bitch so bye bye.

A sony personal CD system or whatever they call them, bought in -98. But it delivers. 3 times it has had some problems with the laser but right now it works perfectly.
