Seems like old ambient not belonging to psy scene is the way to go if you wanna get into trance.

My wishes are a bit more shallow. But i would like more variation in tempo, more variation in melody, less and better tracks, more uniqueness and less stupidity... or something.

It's good music... At the beginning i guess i wanted to be different.

hmm... dunno. it just died by itself. it will grow up through the ashes in a refined and better shape.

I don't wan't to sound conservative and narrowminded but this can only lead in the wring direction. Or maybe, the real producers start making music more far away from this skazi crap... We can always wish.

When i was little (well, smaller) my dad liked rock the most. My mother hasn't had a specific music style since she was young i think. When i was maybe 6, my father also listened a bit to drum'n'bass, only a little, and when i starrted liking "mainstream" techno like antiloop and chemical brothers and so on, he supported me. but later on, i mostly discovered trance and all the other music i love today by myself. But sure, it has influenced me to some extent.

It's not fun writing a whole page about a mediocre (according to you) release. However i think you can find lower grades in the shorter replies. And then if someone you know has a similar taste gives a high grade, put it on your list =)

It's kinda hard to get stuff from those 2 artists. But what i heard from chi-ad was great. Unfortunately never had the chance to listen to californa sunshine or any other projects by Har-el Prussky...

Yeah that wouldn't suprise me at all since i got it with kazaa (thank god i dont use kazaa anymomre) but one guy actually confirmed mystica had a track called goa. I mean, he has tracks called china and so on so i considered it quite possible.

From mystica ive heard one track called goa. pretty good, oldschool israeli.

Well maybe the long version is like even longer cuz i doubt they call the long version short version. Maybe the long version is 15 minutes? Which one is the real version? Many interesting questions rise upon this tiny matter.

Well i happen to think shpongle has some of the most beautiful melodies. Are you suggesting that shpongle belongs to the bad part of this scene? And yes, i had only heard 3 of those tracks =) but what im looking for is not traditional goa melodies, built in patterns but more like long, improvised melodies that are not bound to a certain pattern. You can find it in Ozric stuff too and Shamanix by Hallucinogen. About Dimension 5: Yeah, that's a great album, a favorite. But not the kind of melodic im searching for, sorry =(
