  1. that's weird... the site doesn't say anything about that.
  2. That doesn't matter. What matters is the braxification of dempretel grauwf.
  3. Maybe so, but in the second album he uses much more advanced harmonies, more detailed soundscapes and also manages to put a lot more power into the songs. EDIT: I can still see why you find Twisted more modern, as it is more "cyber" in the style.
  4. I've ordered this album. Nick told me they were great, but it only got like 3/5 on discogs. I'll see if i like it or not.
  5. No, you're making fun of me... And as the world is centred around me, you're making fun of the whole balance in the world, thus causing extreme catastrophes in the world that consists of me. :'(
  6. Sure Bacon
  7. The Lone Deranger sounds a lot more modern.
  8. I knew the responses would be like this. I don't think he's a god. I just gave you my view of the albums. He is/was a genious in my opinion. That doesn't mean i'll blindly adore anything he puts out.
  9. Ok, let me take u thru the tracks of "Twisted". LSD: Great track, one of the first goa tracks. Mysterious atmosphere, classic sample (although not very original). Orphic Trench: Storming acid madness, but with moods that go deeper beyond. Alpha Centauri: A really long track. The rhythmics here are very original, his use of percussion is extremely musical compared to other trance artists. The melodies are simple but work well. Dark Magus: This track is completely original, the main synths are scary and effective, the melodies that lead to the final climax are very clever and still emotional. Shamanix: What is there to say... Great track, until the improvised synth melody kicks in and takes us too heaven or whatever place or state of mind that we've been longing for. Snarling Black Mabel: This track has a special atmosphere, very dark but still playful. The bass bounces between the speakers and drippling effects sprinkle out the spectrum. Fluoro Neuro Sponge: No question about it: this is the "dancefloor killargh" of the album. Using Posfords trick of transforming triplet rhythm into straight standard rhythm and at the same time dragging us deeper into the tracks. Screaming synths are the backbone of this track. Solstice: This is the track that i like the least on the album, but it's still a cool track. The only one i can't recall in my memory though. So, that means this album is EXCEPTIONAL. And the follow up is just madness and perfection drenched in perfect crystal clear, mysterious production. That's 10/10 if there is any.
  10. Ok, thanks for the quick answer The reason was that it said "you could have typed wrong adress or payment info", if it would have said "information" then i wouldn't even ask Thanks again!
  11. I live in Sweden and ordered from Psyshop yesterday. I first tried not writing my phone number, then it said that i needed a full international number. So i tried my swedish number (i couldn't find the international one ). It got accepted, but now i got a mail saying something got wrong. I've filled in the form again with my international number (+46 and so on), do you think it's gonna work now? Is there other common problems like å, ä or ö in the adress or typing things wrong (spaces between numbers, stuff like that). Btw, i ordered using C.O.D. I know this problem is kinda silly but even so.... Cheers everybody.
  12. An unrlsd killargh.... lame i know. too lame in fact.
  13. I don't have da_mental_powah to search through all these pages... Is "The Lone Deranger" rare (in the original Twisted Records print)?
  14. Way to go bumping old threads... geeez... this thread is sooo 2004.
  15. This bass is killer in the initial sense of the word.
  16. Twisted System's first album managed to combine melody and weirdness! Cool. Maybe this will be t3h buy4g3?
  17. 100 - 120 is my favorite tempo for 4/4 music. It has room for groove without ever boring you, and melodies can be a bit more "swirly" with more clearly defined 32ths and stuff. I'm not a guy who listens to this music hoping to get into a state of trance though, so i'm talking about listening experience only. I mean, who can deny that a mid-tempo, pulsating beat with these "tss" hihats between and a deep, wobbly melodic bass circulating around well defined snares is IT? Ok, maybe not IT but i like it. It's a shame that it's either fasttrance or sloooooowwwwww chiiiiiiiiilllooouuuut
  18. Etnica - Vimana is great, on par with the best Pleiadians tracks... But i didn't hear the tb303's in that :S I must have bad ears.... Is the main melody with 303?
  19. Space Tribe has existed as a group/artist for more than 10 years! That's pretty impressive. And i also think that you have to compare trance or perhaps psytrance in general (not just one part of it) with the rock scene. Rock that was modern in 1970 is not made anymore now, correct me if i'm wrong. It has evolved into new forms of rock. But we still compare this movement to "goa trance" which was just a little specific sound.
  20. This sounds veeery promising... A new artist (well, relatively new) with a distinctive sound that's unique and fucking good.. I'm buying this!
  21. Sub6 - On the Ground This is more like exceptionally catchy pop-trance than disgraceful psytrance...
  22. I don't think that sound can be created again. Let's move on.
  23. Yes it is.
  24. hahaha radi6404 you seriously think those albums are most important for: psytrance full-on progressive chillout minimal dark full-on ? We're talking bout the whole movement, not just goa. I think
