  1. What a great review Trance2MoveU, thank you so much for taking the effort of writing this review. Also gave me some good laughs hey, dont give away my secret plans for PsyPolka!
  2. x-dream - Radio is the oldest release I would call Darkpsy (1998). Then theres Xenomorph, The Delta, Tim Schuldt that come to mind. Techno and Industrial has for a longer time been very popular in Germany, so I think it was only a matter of time until one of us would choose to combine these with Psychedelic, creating a dark and cold atmosphere.
  3. thanks guys! ma05683, you can download my album Atropos from ektoplazm in wav/flac quality: http://www.ektoplazm.com/2009/cybernetika-atropos then you can check my youtube site for more psy-dnb: http://www.youtube.com/user/mechanophobia a physical release is not planned, but there will be another dnb-influenced album in 2011, maybe with a bit more variation in style. Keep your eyes open
  4. I dont know if this qualifies as rare but since you mentioned Cosma, you might like Penta - Neurotic Call. It is ominous and deep but not "amusical", it has a great deep and dark atmosphere, in fact its one of my all time darkpsy favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7J4d-bFnEk
  5. fantastic reviews jon, penzo and drosophila. Really glad for the great response this album got so far. =) thanks for your words on my music, it is much appreciated
  6. Hi, if anyone was wondering what happened to Cybernetika and his Psy-DnB, I can assure you that I am alive and still making them beats http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzP1uyR4nJI http://soundcloud.com/cybernetika/cybernetika-devoid-of-gravity enjoy this tune
  7. Hey,

könntest echt mal live etwas in der Nähe von Köln machen :D

  8. Thank you for all the great responses, they are really uplifting - I am super happy how everything worked out!
  9. Dont know if this is popular or not, but one of my favorites: Darshan - Tranceformations http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3IAsyA8lrM I can recommend basically anything by Darshan, amazing Dark Goa. another tip: Toi Doi - Nuage D'encens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6PyfjIsDMY meh, probably nothing new to insiders.
  10. if some self promotion is allowed... check my track "calling mercurio". Its on the dark, industrial side - but it definitely is Psy and Dubstep too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l6TSx8_VC4 it is on my recent album The Scythe of Orion, which you can download in hi quality here: http://www.ektoplazm.com/2010/cybernetika-the-scythe-of-orion also, a little preview clip of something I've been working on, to be released sooner or later.
  11. Thanks guys for all the great feedback! This means a lot to me! @deepXcode: glad you noticed the video game refernces because thats where a lot of my inspiration comes from. As another recommendation I may suggest the soundtrack of the racing game StateShift. The game itself is kinda bad but the soundtrack is awesome and very goa/psy oriented. I am still working a bit on my site, this is a very stripped down site right now. For the distant future I want to make something really fancy, nice looking and flash based, but right now I'm just planning to make a database for single old tracks. Still looking for an easy solution to put a simple database online that makes it easy to make new entries as there are a LOT of single tracks. I'll possibly be looking for something CMS-based. @Basilisk: Glad I can always count on your support man! Ektoplazm is an awesome project, please keep it up forever! Can't thank you enough for this, there are not many people in the scene with so much dedication. @Malevol3nt: Well, there is one new download link now: Atropos @ Ektoplazm.com in MP3,FLAC,WAV - thanks Basilisk! Glad you like it so far! It's quite interesting to see that I got a lot more positive feedback for this album from the Psy scene than from the DnB scene so far. I'm glad things went so well for "Atropos" and I'm really content with the outcome. As for future projects, I'm working on a Psy album, maybe a bit darker and techier than Nanospheric, but definitely still Cyber-style.

  17. Hey! Well, what can I say? I am just happy I finally completed this album I let you wait for this long. A couple of things got in the way, but in the end, destiny can not be stopped, haha Here is my Xmas gift for you: Cybernetika - Nanospheric "Both universe and infinitesimal particle, the Nanospheric is an abstract construct beyond our imagination and comprehension. It is a machine deity, that forms matter in its own will." Cybernetika is Lars, a 1986 born producer from Cologne/Germany, who started making music in 2003 and created countless of tracks from there. He is focused on Psychedelic Trance, Drum'n'Bass, Techno, Industrial and Electronica. Nanospheric is his 4th self produced album, filled with Atmospheric Sci-Fi Trance telling a story about the mysterious Nanospheric. "Nanospheric", released in December 2008 was crafted in FL Studio and mastered with Wavelab. 18. I dont know if you have seen or discussed this yet. If yes, I am sorry, then please forget it again. I dont know who made this video, how he made it, if it is composed from a movie or anything, but the combination of song and video is really awesome. Long time since I last was this impressed. The music itself is also simply great. Rather an epic journey into the inner self than just a dark psy track. check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AVVhyLsstc enjoy! :posford:
  19. thanks guys! much appreciated! I got ektoplazm in mind as release platform for this, Alex!
  20. two? hard choice. I would probably stick with FM8 and z3ta. Both very flexible and with great sound. IMO taking Reaktor would be cheating
  21. glad you noticed it Are you sure about the bassline? Ive tried this on 3 different speaker sets and on headphones and none showed too loud bass notes. thanks guys, glad you dig it!
  22. Again I am back with music (hope you noticed reger ) A new album will come soon... very soon... and it will be 100% free, just like my previous albums. However, I can not wait. I want to share this track with you now since I feel so content with it. "The Outer Reach" is a really spaced and trippy track @ 143 BPM. download link is here: http://www.speedyshare.com/384430697.html Peace
  23. oh I dislike hardcore/gabber, but there is one artist thats a big exception. Alek Szahala he really stands out from the mass of hardcore, he got some sick Psy/Acid influences http://alek.szahala.com/downloads.html check out "anmitzcuaca"... or "the rebirth of maruuk" omg, this track: 180 bpm Goa ftw
