  1. just wondering if anyone knows where to get these tracks, as itracks seems to be no more while i remember not liking all when i first listened, some i did thanks https://www.discogs.com/Asia-2001-Vision-Future/release/5824242
  2. in the end doesn't really matter what we call it, i think the main styles are quite evident, ie goa, full on, dark, prog etc all sub genres of music are ultimatley created by media/marketing to sell it/ describe it to the people, think about other genres, when does drum n bass cease to be and become breaks/dub step etc when does rock/hard rock become metal? to you metal heads death metal can be blured sometimes to say grindcore, as there are some bands that sit in the middle so how does it become defined, treat goa the same and this dilemma will go away, personally i pondered this for awhile then thought does it really matter?
  3. what's interesting is there still seems to be some sellers around, offering cheaper prices than others from the same countries, not sure if it's a regional thing, or some are hiking them up to cover in case they get lost. seems mainly what is happening as the people with postage accounts are able to keep costs down, and gaining greater market share by this
  4. since this whole pandemic thing, i havn't been able to buy much from anywhere to be sent here to australia i had an old album i wanted to buy again in my cart at psyshop for 3 months now, but because of covid can't get them to deliver here the initial cost for the 1 cd was $6 australian, well i just checked now, and that price has gone up to $53 the world has officially gone mad, and looks like i will no longer be buying physical music from anywhere out of australia anyone else had any issues like me?
  5. i believe the new pometheus/alien film is currently in pre production
  6. this sounds great, well done you guys, i think this maybe the first year since 96 i havn't bought a goa album but that may just be about to change hearing a kind of ux/slide vibe to it
  7. will check them out, have couple other ones i seen you might like then but can't remember names at moment
  8. for sure, it's one of the greatest films, and the ultimate heroes journey
  9. the amount you need for it to be toxic to humans is high, i wouldn't be paying to much attention to wiki, it being a controlled substance and all it's all about how you extract it. piperonal is easier anyway
  10. safrol is only carcinogenic if you don't know how to make the oil, seen it done many times
  11. and it's the pharmaceuticals who will always win look at the medical marijuana industry, in canada it's on the brink of colapse, and USA not far off not to mention the stuff they selling is highly toxic, and destroying all the natural strains mdma is great for people with conditions especially depression, as are mushrooms but prob again is what they will put in it, and from what source naturally occuring safrol or camphor etc is great, but the methlamine and others they will use not so good
  12. i saw it at the movies when it came out and people were walking out! not because it was bad, just to much! i use to love horror and gore, but i think having kids definatley softened me there, and then i watched hostel 2 that movie did something to me, since then, i can't watch that type of violence, makes me sick to the stomach oh how times have changed
  13. it was good back when was released very original we have all been de sensitized to these types of movies now and brains been re wired
  14. doctor sleep..... wow amazing, worth watching
  15. interested if any of you have read this book yet and your thoughts on it?
  16. youtube does indeed have an algorythym but i think you find it's possibly a mistake not by the artist but by the people who upload/write credits etc but has anyone actually questioned who wrote the tracks? alot of these guys were pretty close back in the day and often sat in on sessions and helped tweak each others knobs. from what i understand their were alot of tracks laid down by other artists so in this case it's possible CS actually wrote the tracks, kind of like how prince and madonna back in the 80's wrote loads of songs for other pop artists and wern't credited with actually writing them
  17. i miss that no holds barred banging rhino and transient psychedelia mid to late 90's and that crazy australian parallel suomisaundi universe sound (psy-harmonics) etc
  18. she put posts up on her facebook page asking people what she should charge, not sure if she took that info onboard
