Hey everyone! Between the last year/6 months, I've kept hearing this great progressive track at almost every psytrance party I've been to here in Copenhagen. It's that kind of bigroom, pounding "partyprog" that artists on Iono Music and Blue Tunes Records make, with lush melodies and a big phat groove. What makes this track stand out is the very prominent use of STRINGS in the break and for the main melody. I'm not sure if it's violin or cello, but eitherway you always knew when this track came on because of it's unique sound. To my knowledge, orchestral passages/breakdowns doesn't occur very often in "mainstream" prog psy, so I HOPE that someone out might know what I'm talking about. I know it's a stretch, but I really want to get my hands on this. Thanks a lot in advance!

Sounds promising! Since I heard the "leak" of Dunes Of Gold I've been really excited about the new album. I've been an AP fan forever, and even though I agree that some of their newer stuff is not on par (I'm looking at you, Joy!) I also enjoyed tracks like The Prophecy alot, and I really want to believe that they still got it in them. I think they've been in a transition phase since Amen, trying to find a new sound and explore new grounds, and when you try out new stuff you will of course sometimes fail -that's how it works, and it's the only way to evolve. I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best
