Hitler's birth & death dates and current World events
RTP replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in Off Topic
Holy shit, I was born exactly 91 years after Mao Tse-Tung! And now here it comes: the birth years' (1893 / 1984) summarized sum of digits is 1+8+9+3+1+9+8+4 = 32 -> 3+2 = 5 -> ILLUMINATI NUMBER! total hardcore, isn't it? (-> http://www.famousbirthdays.com ) -
Here is something for you. What do you say about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vfxjf_7yZVQ I was quite fond of Annihilator already in the past ... but only recently I got to listen to the King of the Kill tape and I must say it's fucking beyond awesome. I was listening while driving ... and well, that was just so great, absolutely insane. Even the most intense psy fullon gets crushed to bits by this IMO. If anybody wants an abstract description of the feelings I have when really upped, this is it. It's fucking awesome. Borderline, I know ... but it's just so good. Got anything more intense than this? I'd really be interested.

oh god yeah... I can't wait!

Dude, I always find such coincidences. I am kinda obsessed with finding any. I was bringing the german term "Mitleid Express" into my everyday life (so that friends start to say it too) because it's a track from SBK (and, by the way, a great title)... It's not too hard to find coincidences because some psy artists name tracks / samples after real occurrences or things. And I love that, because when I then, at some point of time, come across the term in real life I'm like "hey, so that is what it stands for"... For example, Magnetrixx album "Trittschall" ... it's a german word. But I never knew it existed until I heard it somewhere, I was like "aaaah, this is a real word, I freak out"

No doubt it's biodegradable and eco sustainable. And maybe it's even edible, but I bet not in an enjoyable way. If this really was something good, it would be bigger news. Google's first hit on "edible CD packaging" is - tadaa - this thread I conclude that it can't be good

Hooray, I got enough sleep last night! A little less than six hours it was ... fair enough compared to before. The odd thing is that I felt more tired today than ever before... Excercise is good, yes. I persuaded myself for a run this evening, we'll see if it works. I used up the valerian and the alk-free beer, this is not that good (I always used them to lull me to tiredness). But I'll drop some chemistry if sleep doesn't come. About the Seroquel ... this stuff (Quetiapin) seems to be a medication against schizophrenia, manic depression and psychotic episodes. I better won't try it or I won't have anything that helps me if I really get one of those one day. Plus my doc is cool, but I bet he won't prescribe me that. And the nurse I know that works in the psychiatric ward said it's a no-go to ask her for meds. So this stuff is not available anyway. I think I better go with benzos or with Z-meds (Zopiclon & co.)... And off to sleep...

Thanks for the tips guys... In the end, it was a bit more than three hours of sleep last night I know that firing up a web browser was not a very good thing to do ... but what to do when there's a thunderstorm outside? I didn't wanna watch TV, that would be even more exhausting for the eyes... The one eye open trick is worth trying ... I do have the problem that I am very noise sensitive when I have both eyes closed - it already happened that bird twittering or TV running in neighbours flat kept me awake because of this. The only problem is that I don't have a dim light. A candle would do, but I don't wanna sleep with anything open fire stuff, plus I don't like breathing paraffinum. I'm going to organize me such a sleep light thing I guess... Thanks for the sleeping medication tips ... I read up on them yesterday night myself. I do love benzos a big lot because they cure my anxieties ... but that's why I don't wanna take them when it's not absolutely necessary, because otherwise I could probably get addicted... But if any benzo, I'd go for Oxazepam (when weak one's needed) or Xanax (if strong one's needed). These go well. I'd rather prefer trying these Z-medications though because they are new. Will try to talk with my doctor about this when it doesn't get better. This night I'll try Diphenhydramine (harmless antihistamine). Sometimes this worked ... although not always. Ambient music used to work well, but meanwhile I learned that it doesn't help with certain types of my insomnia. Ambient is good when you are already tired. But when you are not tired (which I wasn't), it's no help. That is the interesting thing: I actually wasn't very tired. Actually I felt like I could do sports last night. Even the day today was not that bad as expected ... I only let fall down a (full) salad bowl, not more - normally I'm far clumsier and also forget things at work, this time there was nothing. Now it's getting sleep time...

And again, it's insomnia for me. It's really shitty. This is the third night I don't sleep properly. Fist night still was OK, got about 4 hours, not much to recover from weekend, but not a problem. Second night was tougher, only three. This day was kind of bad, but still manageable. But now it's the third night and so far it has not been a fucking minute of sleep because we had a thunderstorm with, well, thunder. The shit is, I cant take a sleeping pill now because it will knock me out (because of the valerian which I am already on) and I have to get up in 4,5 hours. I got so angry about the situation that I jumped up in bed and cursed at the world loudly a little bit - bad idea, because now I am even more upped. So I figured I'd get up and moan a bit about this now, I really feel like it. I'm on a load of valerian and some whisky and my head hurts like a bitch. Anybody else suffers from insomnia from time to time? What do you do against it?

I got this as a background right now ... cut it off and stretched it though so that it fits the screen nicely:

Well, then I'm sorry to say it, but you got ripped off...

I too prefer analog sticks. I have Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3 and PC and I much prefer the PS3 variant with the controller. It just feels better to me ... I'm just a bit too hectic with the mouse and the controller is so much better. Sure there are situations where you'd need to turn around instantly and can't and get killed ... but that does not balance out the good feel I get from the controller. Also, with the pad the dodging is easy (just press x plus direction) ... on PC it's crap because I have to hit a strafe button twice which is just fucked up for me ... I often strafe twice and get killed - and on the other hand I fall off cliffs because I want to strafe twice and am pressing it too quickly and make a dodge jump... Plus it just feels so great for me to win a UT3 PS3 deathmatch on a server that enables mouse and keyboard when I just have the gamepad Shit, I gotta play UT3 decently again some time. Lately I'm often too hangovered to have fast reaction.

No clue, but maybe install the Java again from there: http://java.com/nl/download/manual.jsp And if it still crashes, try to install a new browser ... Chrome is crap anyway. Use Opera

Hello, I'd like to bring to attention that Ozora tickets currently can be officially bought for example at http://www.accessallareas.org/ozora2011/ for 90 Euros (UK Pounds sterling equivalent plus service charge), which means that the 90 Euros include the ticket price and the service charge. And at this point I'd like to remind people that we (Psynews) can't be held responsible for any trades or other business people offer through here. It's purely up to the members to decide...

Okay, sorry, but when one makes a poll like this, I just am tempted to vote "no" ... which is what I did - because I think that poll is stupid ... why asking others, decide for yourself If you wanna hear my opinion: From my admin point of view it's fine when you stay as long as you stick to the rules. Which you didn't always do, but nevermind that... From my personal point of view I don't really know you enough to say anything. You have some manners that are not too desirable - for example the caps. On the other hand you bring life to this place ... make people discuss and stuff. That is good. I don't really have the time to engage in the discussion, but it's a good thing - as long as it stays within boundaries. I don't really know your personality, but it seems like you're a bit of a gentleman inside a shell. This thread proves it. It's good that you made it and discuss how people see you, that's ok (the poll is still stupid though IMO ). To me it seems like the gentleman inside you is occasionally silenced by the intake of various controlled substances though (admit it, you made some posts while drugged). And this is not that good. But if you work on that (and consider the points Abasio mentioned), I see it as a good thing to stay.

Hi, What Rotwang said ... what happens when you try using the multiquote button? About the error message after login ... do you have any more info or does the message just say "an error ocurred" and nothing more? Here is a message from Invision about the browsers the board supports: We support modern, standards-compliant web browsers, such as IE 7+, Firefox 2+, Safari 3+ and Opera 9.5+. Internet Explorer 6 generally works with our products, but is not officially supported. Are you using any of these?

I'll try Besides, there are signs of turning tides in this matter. Time for me to set sail soon! Hehe... oh and you lose

always nice to see people return. welcome back... yes, OffTopic is back here oh and by the way ... today I managed to come here - on a Sunday. I have a hangover ... but I managed to get here before the headache That's the way to do it. Now it slowly begins though...

Hi Strumpling How's it goin'? No old OffTopic; it is gone. Long live the new one...

I haven't been decently sober in about 2 years Not good either. See what I gave me as Member title? I did that while quite drunk. It was obviously too much again. I will let it stand as a warning for myself...
-
ha ha, drunk post (I bet it is one) Anyway, it doesn't seem to be so bad, does it? You just lost your ticket and were lucky it was still lying on the platform floor. Or is there something else I didn't understand?

thanks for the good wishes guys, but I failed It was a fuel save contest ... drive a Blue Motion VW and the winner is who uses the littlest of fuel (in the qualifying they measured it by using the car's own average count of fuel on 100km) ... the contest was on open roads, 18.5 km to drive and you may not take longer than 23 minutes. Also, on the highway you must drive 90kph minimum. The winner wins the car. I gave my best - ate only a little sushi for lunch and drank as little as possible so that I don't weigh too much, cut my hair (haircut last weekend ) and my fingernails. But in the end I made it only to the value of 3.9 litres per 100 km average. The first place has 3.1 litres per 100 km average. That's worlds apart of me, seriously. I mean OK, I had sort of a stupid situation because I had to overtake a truck that was going only 80kph on the highway which made me use some fuel ... but other than that it was quite a smooth ride. The referee who sat in the car with me always said "you have to go faster, the time is running up". In the end, I still had about two minutes left... Really couldn't do better. It was the first time ever I sat in a VW, by the way.
