PRS - March of the Cosmic Crickets The first 10 minutes are somewhat progressive and only sounds are added. After that it gets very melodious with plenty of classics. this is sooo good, definitely a match for Orchid still after 7 listens.

i wanted other people's opinions, you know, just to find out if they can be trusted =_= counted only 3 of those annoying baselines they use when they feel like a song is too good otherwise. first track sounds really nice. promising samples

some of the sounds used are such a turn off. i like the structure, but it's hard to build something good with duplo. and if i'm right, it's trying to be both funky (or housy) and spacy (or trancy) while it does neither really well. listening to the sample now for the 3rd time since starting this post and man it's such a drag... a really crisp drag though! but i would not be so harsh or post this at all if i thought this was terrible, didn't like some Atmos or felt he couldn't do better.

make sure every mp3 has same volume (mp3gain.exe) and is well below the clip point (put them at 92db or lower) so that tracks wont clip when playing at the same time, gl

i think you have good taste in tracks, and that is the most important thing when it comes to full on. i also think you could take some more time for your transitions. you have a good routine and there are no mistakes i believe. at a party it would not bother me and maybe it would be cool, but for home listening i want something to listen to and transitions is were it gets interesting mostly. it would also cut some time of the tracks. unless a track is very interesting i try to aim at 5 mins per track maximum. maybe at a party you would need to go even shorter, i'm not sure as i don't spin psytrance live. with your harmonic selection the tracks should be able to stand each other for 1 or 2 minutes. this is just my opinion/taste of course!

yeah, it's not the best... i always was kinda disappointed with this one after a couple of listens (although i think the second half is pretty spicy). Psy prog is just not what i would like it to be, i mean these early tracks are just worse than the good house and techno out there and harder to really mix as well. And the later tracks are really solid, but don't allow for much variation (this is true for most of the psy genres i'm afraid). Let's just say there's not enough to choose from at the low bpm's in psytrance, and i could have chosen better of course. also the cover really sucks (it's my first, so w/e ). thanks for being honest, you are totally right.

Shpongle - Nothing Is Something Worth Doing tracks 5 and 9 and the switch from dark to light from track 13. i dont like tracks 10-12 as much after enough listens, wish it was shorter.

try this 126-138, slower i dont have. it's also more subtly dark. slower you would need Sensient would be my guess? dont really know it.

Half Baked (about stoners), because Dave C is awesome. but yeah, not close with Big Lebowski which is not about stoners but that guy is a fucking stoner.

they are good, but i'm not quite satisfied. ~600E also not that great a sound really, but they are robust, so good for DJ purposes. ~140E for mp3 purposes, these are really good! small, but huge sound, great detail. (and noise canceling) ~140E

Time to tip: Boardwalk Empire! for all you Sopranos lovers out there. it's been great so far.

well, it takes a while (and some time not listening to it) to really judge my own sets. For example I still listen to Bodywarmer 2 every once i a while and every time I am really happy with it (was lucky with that one). But the Creatures set, while I really liked it when i just made it, doesnt hold up for some reason.
