  1. +1. + The best an most productive way to learn is throught colaboration.
  2. It really is surprising how much sounds this to Hallucinogen. I mean, it is an Atmos tune remix by Slinky Wizard. Doing just the mix Posford got to print lots of the Hallucinogen spirit to it. Thanks for sharing!!
  3. Thanks for the tip on that book and author, it looks pretty interesting. Anyhow I could sense that music, and other forms of art are something inherent in nature and by creating some art, you are just transcribing it to be better understood and experienced. But she explains it really well!! What I really wonder now is, what happened in history for humans to changed from this concept to believed that we are just creators?? What relation has this with religion?? and if it`s fair to push such a pressure (like comparing him with god) on an artist??
  4. +1. Later on we all go and get drunk.....
  5. Would not be easier to talk to each other and short things out?? Invite Psynews later on for the beer in the Pub.
  6. I came across this video a couple of days ago and found it quite revealing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86x-u-tz0MA&feature=player_embedded At the same time, I find quite annoying some of the worshiping for artists in the trance scene as I always thought that such a thing did not belong to it. So, what do you think? Do artists deserve this devotion? Are they creators or mediums? Is art created, or transmited??
  7. 90€ for soldering a cable back is definitly not cheap. I would say, try yourself, or look for someone not related to BOSE........ Better than having them lying around and taking space.......
  8. Priceless........ But I have a question..... What are the headphones on his neck for??
  9. Talking about Milli Vanilli..... Taken from http://deadmau5.tumb...we-all-hit-play This made quite a storm a few months ago. That I quote him does not mean I do agree with the post........
  10. This is Live http://www.ektoplazm.com/mixes/kino-oko-moscow-2011 http://www.ektoplazm.com/mixes/kino-oko-live-in-saint-petersburg
  11. "Playing Live" is interacting with the music. The more interaction, more live. If the question is "where finnish the Dj set and start the Live", nowadays is a very dificult answer as with all the new tools to dj the line between them is really broad. Here the only real electronic live act And here something that gets close to it http://youtu.be/Bjhpu-B08jc
  12. By "Children of Paradise - Martian Civilization" I guess you mean "Children of the Doc - Martian Civilization"........ but "X-Dream - Water Machine"..... I don´t know this one. Do you mean Psychomachine??
  13. I see, you refered to Oforia, not to Elvis..... That live was long ago, when people still had crt monitors and loads of synths on stage. I remember some live shows with pauses between songs (or long pads bridges) to load the new projects. If you mean writing the sequences live, I guess he did not, but sequenced the synths from the computer..... And tweaking, lots of it..... !!!
  14. Nein, no sequencer, he knock at the door trying to sell some life insurances..... He used to run some backing tracks and lift mutes on the mixer. At least he explains that in the Twisted DVD and some other interviews. I also have seem him doing some tweaking on a SH101 live, so probably his live consist on a mix of both things.
  15. Elvis...... And most of the usual suspects. One of my best memories ist Oforia "Delirious" launch party at Tyssen Studios in London.
  16. Looks interesting!!! . Is Benji Vaughan still involved with Process??
  17. Is that Ibiza 18 years ago??? He was there before GMS!!!!
  18. I just show this weeks "into the lair" and remind me to this thread, so I though might be of your interest neurogen. Maybe not exactly what you are looking here but related. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=impZpF8qgrk&feature=player_embedded Also, i had a listen to the kick you mind. To my opinion it is a kick with no much pitch envelope, so it keeps the bottom end. Also I would say that the context is very important. Have a listen how all other elements relates to it, level and frequency wise, above all the bass. It can be a sampled kick from a record as stated by Draeke, The sound has a lot of a real bassdrum. Have you checked some libraries of drum kits?
  19. Good track, although not many surprise elements. I think the melodies could still be twisted a bit further. 6.5/10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUemFGOfK_o&feature=player_embedded#!
  20. all of them are top notch. No one is melodic. If you want "more melodic" stuff from them have a look at Children of paradise.
  21. Great track, deep, dark and driving. I´ll give it 3 Ds. 8.5/10 Let´s move to something more epic and happy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uOTxvUn7HQ
  22. Really funky, but the melodies sound a bit dated. 7/10
  23. They were really great. Also from your country, and one of them was later half of Vibrasphere. Discogs list 3 tapes from 95 as albums. This one below was a classic on the 90s, wierd that is not listed in discogs.....
