  1. Great thread, IM Classical for me without doubt
  2. let somebody down >= dissapoint somebody.
  3. Britney Spears - EF.Y.CE.KEJ ME (Infected feat.Takida RMX)
  4. I didn't know that, and it's a fucked up thing to say. But I never liked Duvdev anyways. It's Erez that's the genious. But I still argue that they haven't let anyone down, but sure they have disappointed many, including me.
  5. I just wanted to give my statement that I didn't feel as they have let anyone down. And I tried to explain it in my first answer, I wasn't laughing at you, I just gave a constructive answer giving my point. I don't see where you could have felt as I was laughing at you. I didn't
  6. Ok then if you wish, I will waste some of my time trying to explain to an ant, that there is a world outside of the heap. When I say evolving I mean that they sound different all the time, just as in nature some evolving species are evolving in a bad way, those doesen't survive. So evolution doesen't necessarily mean improvement. You are suggestion that I am saying that IM are trying to make something new, if you read my text and think about it what I am saying is, and you can read it again. "Maybe they wanted to TRY something new", try something and making something new is 2 totally different things, also ofc it's new since if they make something they haven't done before, it's new. I was never suggestion that they are doing something "new" as new musically, but ofc it is since it hasn't been done before. But I understand what you mean, but read my text better and don't make interpretations of you're own. Of course they are responsilbe for the music they do, did I say anything else? Please quote me. What I ment was, that seem to have passes you're mind completely is, that if I am an artist. And I make music and suddenly alot of people happen to like it, do I have an obligation to keep them satisfied`? No, ofc not, why would I? I'm still the same person just making the music I like, just bcs some people like it doesen't mean I ahve any obligation anywhere whatsoever. You are claiming otherwise, please could you at least instead of just giving me you're position in the matter have some constructive criticism as to why you are thinking this way? Probably you haven't thought it through enough and don't have a clue yourself. Also I never said you don't have the right to be disappointed, if you read the last words of my text "but ofc, if you feel the have let you down they have". My standpoint of their new stuff is that it's bad music with great production skills. And I enjoy listening to it from time to time. You are argumenting against me? And now after you ahve posted you're answers you are asking me what the argumentation is about? Cmon.....how can you answer to something if you don't even know what the topic is`? Semms to me really stupid. Sure.. whatever. And please don't bother, I'm done arguing, it's pointless. If someone believes that the earth is flat, you can't talk him out of this illusion. You have to say to him, come let's find the edge. And then you walk in a straight line until you come to the same spot again. Maybe the he will believe that the earth is not flat.
  7. well I'm done arguing, you don't seem to read what I write coming with implications of what I have said that I haven't. Please learn to read a text thoroughly before you come with you're counter argumentation...also you are also making contradictions first saying they are not evolving "does it sound like evoltion...blabla" then you say, "are they evolving?", and you answer it yourself with "yes"
  8. C'mon where does it say that an artist is obliged to make music that appeals to the majority of the fanbase. Infected has always been inventing themselves from square one, they don't have any album that sound like the previous one. So obviously people will not like all ther creations. That to me is a mark of a true artist, that keeps evolving, not a producer making the same stuff over and over again, Solar Fields is also an example of an artist constantly evolving. Maybe Erez felt as if they had made most of what was doable in the psy-genre or just lack of motivation and wanting to try something new. Maybe they saw an opportunity to make money, wouldn't you jumpo on that train being at their age? I'm sure you would. To me they haven't let anyone down, if you make music and people like it, are you suddenly in a position where you can't let the people appreciating what you do down? That is really strange logic to me. You are lacking in argumentation mister, but ofc if you feel they have let you down, they have.
  9. Infected Mushroom will never be dead. They ahve released such great and wonderful music. I keep coming back again and again to downtempo side of converting vegetarians. And this album never becomes less fascinating. I don't and never will understand why one has to chop of some artists leg's just because they stopped making music that most of the fanbase liked. It's like praising someone for making efforts and award the Nobel prize. Then just bcs that same person later on didn't contribute just say he's a moron. Worthless thread....
  10. Yeah, I think the moderation is strange. I got a warning for the same thing. And I was referred to as "not having anything better to do". All I can say is that my relation with the people running this site is nto good at all atm. But I am still here since I won't let some bitter mod ruin my contribution to the scene I love.
  11. Where can I find samples of the new album?
  12. Carbon Based Lifeforms - Irdial EP ( Soundmute , Dec. 2008 ) 1. Irdial 4:19 2. Pou 4:12 It's been quiet from the Carbon Based guys over in Sweden. Since their release World of Sleepers three years back, not much have happened, except some track releases on compilations-Endosphere on Ease Division 3 and Reaktion on Future Memories. These tracks have been light and lush keeping the CBL formula we have come to expect. This is what also makes this release a little more interesting, because to be completely honest I didn't pay much attention to those other two releases. It felt as if Daniel & Johannes had milked that cow dry, and needed something new and different to stimulate their artistic creationism. They say that the two tracks featuring on this EP are ‘dark tracks’, or as I rather call it, dark ambient. And it really is, and it's surprisingly good. The first track Irdial starts of with some mellow tones that still feels somehow vicious to my ears, then screaming animals in the background, and a slow and dark drone kicks in, all this pieced together creates a very dark track indeed. I get the feeling that what CBL intended with this track was to say that there is something amiss in the jungle, something wrong, the animals are screaming for help or just despair. We are killing our planet and it needs to stop. Or you can just see it as the darker side of nature, but however you interpret it, it remains a great track. The second track Pou sounds more like you're regular CBL track but with a dark touch. I had lost a little faith in CBL after the other lesser compilation releases, but this EP kicks me right back in. I am thrilled to see what they can do on their next album. Currently CBL are working on their third studio album, I sincerely hope that they will implement some of this darker stuff into that release, to make it a cohesive journey from joy to despair and back to joy again, of course. Recomendation: If you like dark ambient you'll probably like this release. It is important to say that even though this is a new direction for CBL, they have still kept their unique sound, and there is no mistaking it. It's not for you're cheerful sunny afternoon to cool off with a beer, but for the night when your thoughts go deep to darker places. 13. You can trust my advice, that is the best player you will find, trust me! At least in price/ratio
  14. That pic is clearly giving me borderline sensations though, so I guess it's got a palce in the "good covers" section lol,
  15. HEEEEEEELP! I'm drowning in cheeeeeeeese!!! I like cheese, but this is ridiculous, wtf does this cover mean? Earth is a voododoll, we have punctured it to make it suffer, with our black wings and we , ye whatever...whaaat?
  16. Jesus that's the WORST sound quality you can get man!! Then check my advice.
  17. I'd go with Sansa Fuze, small, reliable, cheap! I had one and the sound quality was very good, it broke though it didn't survive a trip through a washing machine lol. Come in 2, 4 and 8gb models. http://www.sansa.com/players/sansa_fuze
