Long time lurker but don't post much. I recently finished a first track in a what  the aim will be a bigger project. Inspired by the 2000's era (golden era imho) and I wanted to share with you guys;

Absolutely agree with that. I still love that style and wonder why it's not produced anymore.

Your track is amazing, man! Great production, great melodies and all the genre characteristics 100% nailed.

The track might be longer tho.

Thank you so much, it really means more than you can imagine to me. I worked many years making only unfinished projects and finally made something I can show people. I would like to extend the project a little, try to get at least to 6 mins because I agree it's a little short for a pystrance track.

Hey guys!

I just found this forum and thought i could share my newest track with you.
I'm kinda new to music production (actively learning for about half a year now whilst working fulltime), but maybe you

could give me some feedback? Would be really nice!

Thanks in advance. Have a great day everyone and keep making music!

Next time  better start your own thread for your works, but the track you posted sounds nice. Impressive that you have been doing this for a half of a year only (unless you are using premade loops).

These short clap/kick breaks at every second bar sound a bit distracting, if you remove most of them except the places where they would mark a trasition to a next section the track would be more groovy.

Def not bad for a year and a half, keep it up! PS think most of us work full-time unless we won the lotto mate :)
