Tech-trance, techno

buzzman

Recommended Posts

Hi guys... I'm pretty new to the techno, house, minimal music, and have a hard time pointing out the different genres... So I really don't know what i'm asking for :) But I would like some recommendations on artists similar to Cari Lekebusch :) (I like the track "Rituals" and "Logo" Nemo recommended earlier on this forum)

And who is this Cari

Yikes, man, that took brass balls the size of Jupiter to ask. Cari is *the* swede in electronic music. Period. Whatever goa/psy artists you admired from Sweden, they couldn't compete for the opening act of Cari's show, or mop the floor after.

Anyways, despite the fact I think Cari's recent productions aren't the shadow of his former self, some directions I could point you into would be...

Brian Sanhaji- Stereotype http://www.discogs.com/Brian-Sanhaji-Stere...release/1551778

Petar Dundov- Escapements http://www.discogs.com/Petar-Dundov-Escape...release/1439568

Joris Voorn- Future history http://www.discogs.com/Joris-Voorn-Future-.../release/340224

Anders Ilar- Nightwidth http://www.discogs.com/Anders-Ilar-Nightwidth/release/819063

Dominik Eulberg- Bionik http://www.discogs.com/Dominik-Eulberg-Bionik/master/33699 (more chilled & relaxed)

Pantha Du Prince- This bliss http://www.discogs.com/Pantha-Du-Prince-Th...ss/master/60594

Check out Sweden's recent output, ever since they dropped the whole 'Purpose maker' mentality and style, there's a lot of producers hailing from there who focus on similar minimal productions, with deep bass lines and subtle melody changes.

What Cari's doing lately ain't all that new and special. Similarly sounding stuff is played at tons of parties :)

But you'd better off searching by yourself, this isn't really my style - not bone crushing enough.

I beg to differ. That would be Roxette :P

Just kidding, but if im thinking THE SWEDE, Im thinking Adam Beyer. I used to listen to Cari in the 90s, but didnt even know he was still around.

Adam Beyer has beenaround forever as well, and he certainly is more popular these days...

I reckon you would like Audiojack buzzman. Nice and trippy techno :)

Also give Alex Under's Dispositivos de mis granja a try

And trentemoller of course :)

Since I'm from Denmark and trentemøller is one of the few electronic-artists we have with true (worthy) succes, I know him :) His music is pretty neat.... I'll look in to the other artists, thank you for the recommendations Yohan :)

Edit: Audiojack, just my taste man :)
