Review:

A good album from the two israelians Miko and Har-El. The music in this album

is very much like their other albums, nice vibes of pure israelian melodies

with a fast beat. If you like their old albums you will for sure like this

one. It´s hard to say wich track I like the most, I think there are no REAL

KILLER track, but!! the tracks are´nt bad, no, they are all much the same but

still very good, so I can´t really pic one...hmmmm... no wait, maybe track 7.

Jungle Dream could be the best one on this album... It´s much more darker and

harder then the others, wich I just LOVE! This track might be a real goodie on

the floor..... The album: 7/10.

Agree with the top. If you are new to goa trance then this is a great album.

It reminds me a little of Pleiadians IFO but just not fully developed. The

tracks are real nice and have a beefy complexity to them but they are just not

100% developed. Its a great album but not a killer. Check it out. 7/10 too

blah! this can't hold a match to "nasha", which had a lot of personality,

concept, stayed on point, and overall felt like a complete piece of artistic

work. this one feels like a bad compilation: no track is connected to one

another, you never feel like you are listening to an album, always like a bad

collection of unrelated tracks. plus, individual tracks are also not good.

california sunshine only had a good moment once, and that was "nasha". i don't

know why they didn't build on that, but they didn't, and this album isn't

worth the money. plus, this kinda sound is worn out: mfg was doing this for

many years, and they were much better at it. give it a pass

Great CD, cool musics that make you feel free and travel inside your mind

searching for paradises. It wont get you kicking and jumping, but great for

calm moments. 8/10

It is not as good as their old works but it still remains an Album from

California Sunshine; that is enough to take it. "Forest" is one of he best

tracks of Dj Har-el, "Father of Goa"!!!

Thank you...

I think this is a extremly good album. Pure shit doesn't describe anything

execpt that guys attitude above this. Well worth the money, if you like goa.

These guys make the best i can think of. Not too full on, but FULL of goa

sounds. Perfect and beautiful.

Pretty good album....It is changed California Sunshine that evolved into more

NATURAL realms than unnatural. The album is earthy, groundy, travely and

speedy. All tracks are good except the third track and Coming Home becomes a

bit too much at the times. Favourites are: BREAKING THROUGH ( with MFG, best

on album ), FLYING EYE LAND ( stunning track, extremely psychedelic

),VISION,JUNGLE DREAM ( another with MFG ) and FOREST ( GREAT ).

Overall: 8/10

Wonderfull! Coming Home is one of the best tracks ever made! The full album is

so melodic and psychedelic! Really something special! I think this should be

highlighted! Full on melodic! 10/10 BooM!

Just gave this one a spin or two last night (odd though), and it leaves me almost completely unimpressed. That is, except for two tracks here, and those would be the collaborations with MFG; Breaking Through and Jungle Dream! Wonderful tracks, the true standouts, especially the first one with some really emotional and captivating melodies, a fine and dance floor friendly beat, and it all revolves around a great sample going: "we live on a planet revolving around a star in the middle of an unknown infinity of space." The album's finest moment, no doubt. Jungle Dream has a rougher edge to it, but it still rocks, it's just not as mellow as its predecessor!

The title track is not bad either, with a really psychedelic touch, and sometimes I do find that sample about the land of Labuta a little misplaced here, but overall this is something I don't recall California Sunshine doing before, so I find it a thoroughly enjoyable track. Not in the league with the above mentioned two tunes, but great nonetheless!

Unfortuantely the rest does nothing for me, not that it is dated, I still very much enjoy the good tracks here, but some are just over exaggerated as for example the album opener, which is so over the top it borders cheese! Hell, it even crossess the border, IMO! Could be fun to dance to, but I've heard uplifting and joyful stuff done much better. Under Cover is accompanied by some god awful guitar riffs, Vision has an acidic synth and build up, but I've heard those done a 1000 times before, and a thousand times better, to say the least! And everything in between is just flat and pale on that track, while Rocket, with all due respect to the C.S. pioneers, is a straight up pop track. And that would be putting it in good terms, as I seriously have no idea where to place it... Forest continues the darker and more psychdelic path taken by the title track, but eventually some lighter melodies sneak into it. But I don't like this one, as it is just incomplete, with the same sounds and melodies going on and on through the whole track. And, yes, we've heard all those done a million times before, and yes, we've heard them being done a million times better. Last Feeling has somewhat of a tribalesque beat until the break and the arrival of those uplifting melodies, with a background acid synth that I've must of encountered already four times on this album. So yeah, they end with a very run of the mill California Sunshine track, yeah, the same one we've been given the opportunity to listen to on their previous albums. Not bad, just uninspired.

For Breaking Through and Jungle Dream, this gets a 6/10 from me. The rest ranges from shallow to mediocre to flat to just bad...
