Having relocated to the Austrian countryside with his parents at the age of 10, Sascha grew up with Psychedelic Rock, Hard Rock, Punk, Indie, Ska, Raggae and Hip-Hop, as he always had an open mind for different music. Funnily enough, he had a strong stance regarding electronic music not being “real music”. His mind set, however, changed in 2003, when he moved to Vienna and discovered the underground club scene. After experiencing his first Psytrance partys and festivals, Sascha started DJing Psychedelic Trance in 2004 as “Pink Panther” and soon played at many partys in and around Vienna, Austria and Germany. With his monthly radio show “Final Fantasy” on Digitally Imported Radio, he was able to share his DJ sets with a broad audience all over the world. After a break from the Psytrance scene, he changed his DJ name to “Ghost In The Shroom” and appeared on several international Psytrance line-ups of smaller and mid-sized clubs and festivals in Central Europe, Central America and Goa/India. In 2017, Sascha moved back to Berlin and rebranded himself, once again, creating “Kid Kosmik”. Too Much Data - T.M.D HOM-Mega Productions – HMD220 One half of MFG, Aharon Segal has teamed up with Chen Shmuel a.k.a. Atmik for this new Goa trance project. 1. Too Much Data – Tmd 7:34 I am putting this up as a mini review for now so that others have a chance to listen and add their own reflections, as I am short on time currently. I need to give it a few more listens for it to sink in but my initial impression is extremely high quality sounds, loads of nice acid combined with the trademark MFG slightly dark sort of robotic sound effects and some great melodies and hard beats and basslines. When you have been saturating your brain with as much Goa as I have, it becomes difficult to rate new content fairly when 95% of it is slight variations of sounds and patterns you have heard thousands of times before. But paradoxically, if you are like me you will still find yourself seeking out these classic sounds over and over again. The way I rationalize it is someone who reviews classical music can't really complain about being sick of the piano, if that makes sense. Anyway, this album has loads of the classic acidic Goa sound. I find it very easy to listen to. It does not at any point get irritating and even the more generic bits are not boring. If I listened to this with a fresher pair of ears I would probably rate it nine out of ten or higher, so it is good stuff. State of Mind has some catchy synth melodies and voice samples and is one of the tracks I enjoyed the most. Circus of Life has a nice bassline, some lovely bubbly acid and a delightfully rough drum beat. I may add some thoughts on the other tracks when I get some more time. At nearly 2 and half hours, I must confess I have not yet made it the end of this mammoth offering. Eternal is right. In short, I really like this music a lot. The first thing that strikes me as I listen to the first few tracks is they have excelled at conjuring up exciting textures. It feels deliciously gooey, soft and a little bit scratchy. In their earlier music I was impressed by the spatial effects and the same is very true here. Some of the melodies drift around as you listen and seem to take on a kind of almost 3D depth. This is very hard music, as even though the Dawn half of it is slower and mixed more softly, I feel a relentless drive in the looping patterns and continuous beats and there is a nice darkness even to the Dawn CD. The Dusk one is even harder, faster and louder. It has some great voice samples as well. No spoilers here. The only other thing is I don't totally get that cover art. Guess I need to stare at it for a while. Some kind of fairytale theme. 8.5 / 10

I like to make Goa and acid techno, preferably with bits of darkness and ambience and usually on the more experimental side. I am a new artist who is constantly learning and evolving.

The first release was on the same night. The release is a single track by Material Music (a talented artist) given to the psytrance event organizer Love&Magic, in 2015. It was only now let loose, just the way it is. A proper Record label, i think we most agree on is a label that publish and release physical formats (CD, Vinyl) as well as the new digital formats like i.e FLAC and Wav. We've chosen a tad unconventional way of starting up the label in these new times. Therefor we use mainly Bandcamp but we will when things are more ready and steady move onto other distributor pages as well to be more accessible to the general wider public. Right now, we only offer a CDr/Files of our debut release (KER001) . And the single is a grower, so expect it to get more tracks added soon.... Our aim is in general great psytrance and chillout music, and we're not afraid of pushing the envelope or to creating a new style on the way. The label name Kali Earth Records is in direct inspiration to the legendary label, Shiva Space Technology (SST).
