How can you people like Irritant? It's so... irritating. I'd rather listen to techno than this, at least there are more melodies in it. Taste is such a weird thing.

Fart noises. There isn't really any definition of "psytrance", it's just something you "feel", if the music is psychedelic or not.

Consider this. First they release two, arguably mediocre albums. Then along comes the masterpiece that is Radio. After which, two really mediocre ones follow. So the pattern seems to be: 2 bad (or mediocre) albums - 1 good album. And according to this, they should top Radio next time, seeing as Irritant & We Interface were both worse than Trip and Happiness. Right?

In retrospect, I agree that this topic was useless. I was just in a bad mood when I made it. Too bad psynews lacks the most primitive function of them all; the ability to delete one's own topics.

Oh yeah. I forgot you're all hippies. Negative vibes, blah blah. The reason I started this topic was so wouldn't have to see more of the artist-specific hating topics on the board. And because I felt like complaining about Transwave. @Seraph; Yes, I have a lot of hate inside me (left-overs from basic school), but it's all good. Energy as any other, and it's easy to convert into creative energy. In fact I just finished a very calm chillout track so I'm all out of hate now... for a while. ADD: "GROW" sounds like something a commercial priest would say. You know, as in "oh lord, make the boy GROW into a man! hallelujah!"

Here, let's all sum up which "holy cows" of psytrance we don't like and think should be slaughtered, instead of making new topics about each individual artist. OK? Let me start; Transwave. Sure, they're OK. But not good. Not worth their status as legends... ever listened all the way through Hypnorhythm EP? No, you haven't because it'll seriously hurt your ears after the mediocre two first tracks. Phototropic and Helium, I can understand people like, but I seriously find them boring. Now you have a go, here's the killing stick.

What about Liquid sun? Power Gen? Searching for UFO's? Aurora Borealis? People can Fly? There are lots and lots of examples. I have all their albums, and I like them all.

But you can't show movies here. Only animations, eg .gif. EDIT: Oh, you did say "animated image". I read it wrong.

Planet B.E.N. - Ant Invasion I feel this deserves a topic of it's own... Ant Invasion is by far one of the most visual tracks ever! I can almost see the ants marching forth to the beat of ant war-drums and later some sort of blowing instrument, all so very insectiodically hostile. Too bad the rest of the stuff on Trippy Future Garden isn't as good.
