  2. 100th post! And it only took me just shy of six years!
  3. I'm big on the classics... Astral Projection - Trust In Trance Cosmosis - Cosmology Dimension 5 - Transdimensional Hallucinogen - Twisted Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger The Infinity Project - Feeling Weird Man With No Name - Moment of Truth MFG - New Kind of World Pleiadians - Identified Flying Object Shakta - Silicon Trip If you count EPs, Etnica - Plastic would have to fit in there somewhere.
  4. Great release, love it.
  5. My two favorite CDs have to be Vir Unis - Aeonian Glow, and Proton Kinoun - Apeiron. Proton Kinoun... if you're still hanging on these forums... yes, your production really was so great that I match it up with Aeonian Glow. Only god knows how many times I've listened to it, it's a masterpiece.
  6. Starts gentle, picks up serious momentum halfway through... enjoy.
  7. They are crap... don't cheap out here, you'll regret it. I actually snagged a new pair of Yamaha HS80Ms for about $550... got somewhat lucky with the deal, but they rock. If you can't find 'em for a price like that save up a bit longer, it's really worth it, monitors are the most important gear you'll buy.
  8. No problem! I just found out about it recently myself, great file hosting service. By the way, agree with the others - no 303 here. Sounds like some kind of VA patch.
  9. By the way - use http://drop.io for small clips of audio. Better than rapidshare.
  10. Picked up a pair of the Yamaha HS80M monitors recently, very happy with them.
  11. Available for streaming and download: Enjoy! [ edit: alternative link added due to soundcloud's recent reliability issues... http://drop.io/8dsgfyi/asset/cubicidal-ellis-dreams-ogg ]
  12. Looking for stuff like radio transmissions, somewhat bitty or distorted or staticy, preferably of the cheesy space variety, but I am interested in anything.
  13. New link for Vega... it sounds much better now (in my opinion). http://stashbox.org/444784/cubicidal%20-%20vega.mp3
  14. Awesome, good to hear... makes me feel happy about the quality of my headphones. I've always been so quick to hash out ideas that I've never really learned what "polishing" the sound quite entails, the process of it, etc... I will have to look into it. Thanks for the feedback.
  15. Is bass excessive, treble too powerful, anything that I could remedy easily? I don't have money for monitors or anything period really, not in good shape financially lately... :drama: so headphones it is for now.
  16. Thanks. First one is more just psychosis, second is a lot more dramatic, obviously. Does it sound okay on other sound systems? Again it's hard to mix with just headphones, especially since my old Aiwa stereo went up in flames. Any confirmation that it sounds decent on other systems would be good.
  17. All I have for reference is headphones, so if the mix sounds funny in any regard, that's most likely why. Samples for "Vega" were ripped off the web and are of poor quality, fuzzy sounding... they're from the movie Contact, and they say "Oh it's beautiful" and "They're alive." http://stashbox.org/442674/cubicidal%20-%20devil%20fry.mp3 If any of you use myspace: http://www.myspace.com/cubicidal Feel free to add me. 19. The sounds were all very drawn out, seemed eternal... it was unbelievably beautiful, listened to it on repeat until the cd player died... probably was helped along by the fact I was sitting on a secluded beach on a beautiful day.
  20. I listened to Zion on my first trip... :drama:
  21. Naw, just a single track... which has an effect plugin that I want to be on with some clips, off with others.
